at 7:30 PM – 9 PM Lascaux Micro-Theater 33 E Main St, Buckhannon Join West Virginia’s premier professional comedy troupe, The Fearless Fools, for a “little” comedy. The 3/4 Cafe next door will be open from 5p to 9p for food and libations. Advanced tickets are $7, plus applicable EventBrite fees. At the door, tickets will be $10. Menu pricing applies at the 3/4 Cafe.
at 5 PM – 6 PM Upshur County Senior Center 28 N Kanawha St, Buckhannon Join us every Tuesday evening at 5 PM for an evening dinner starting November 5th! On these days we will not have a lunch and will begin to incorporate more evening activities. The center will be open to the public until 6 PM.

at 9 AM – 3 PM West Virginia Wesleyan College The Office of Admissions and the Department of Athletics would like to invite all high school prospective student-athletes to our Bobcat Prospective Athlete Day to learn about West Virginia Wesleyan. Your Saturday will consist of an admission presentation about West Virginia Wesleyan, a break-out session with coaches from each of our 22 NCAA Division II athletic programs, an academic fair that will allow you to learn about your specific major, a tour of our picturesque campus, and lunch in our dining center. JANUARY 24 5TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY SPELLING BEE
at 6 PM – 9 PM The Event Center at Brushy Fork BZ Bee and friends will be out to entertain you, while costumed teams fight for title and trophy in a high-spirited evening of friendly competition in support of local arts.Spelling begins at 7 p.m., teams and judges report between 6 & 6:30. JANUARY 22 FIREFIGHTER I / HAZMAT OPERATIONS
at 6 PM – 10 PM The Buckhannon Fire Department will be hosting a Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials Operations Class beginning January 22nd at 6:00pm. The class is being taught through West Virginia University Fire Service Extension. The class will run Wednesdays and Saturdays until finished. In the event that a date needs to be added to the class schedule it will be on a Monday. The class is anticipated to end by April 4th. The class is free unless you need to purchase a textbook.
