This summer, the borough crew completed the final phase of stormwater system installation on Bodine Street. Upon the completion of this section, the entire length of Bodine Street has stormwater, eliminating the ditches and improving the road condition as water no longer sits on the road or erodes the ditches during heavy rains. The installation of the stormwater system was made possible through funding from the Tioga County Conservation District’s Dirt and Gravel Road Program. The borough hopes to continue improving the secondary roads and has applied to extend the stormwater system on Buena Vista Street in 2021.
