Each year, Martin’s Garden Center provides the 74 Christmas Wreaths and Bows for placement on the gaslights in the Borough. The wreaths are made primarily from Concolor Fir and will remain in place from the end of November through the New Year. The Bows are dark scarlet red in color, and made of faux velvet.

Martin’s begins their wreath-making in early NOVEMBER. They usually have 3-4 people working to affix the fir to the wreath forms. The Concolor Fir is obtained from an old tree farm Martin’s acquired some years ago. Martin’s staff cut fresh greens as they make the wreaths. The Wellsboro Borough Crew will pick up the wreaths and have them installed in place soon after for all of us to enjoy!
