REPLACEABLE SHIN PLATE - The thermoplastic front shin plate is anatomically shaped and replaceable, an exclusive patented Sidi feature.
MICRO ADJUSTABLE AND REPLACEABLE BUCKLE SYSTEM - The Sidi micrometric buckle used on motocross boots, with indented memory regulation straps. The buckle, strap and retaining clips are easily replaceable. The buckle has just one fixing point (by a screw), which allows them to be easily closed making the boot adaptable to the rider’s position.
REPLACEABLE METATARSUS INSERT -A rigid replaceable nylon insert has been added to protect the inside of the boot in case the rider’s foot slides off the foot peg or if it slips off the kick-starter. The insert is replaceable by unscrewing the 4 screws.
THERMOPLASTIC DEFENDER ON THE TOE AREA - The toe is entirely covered by plastic protection panels with an embossed geometric design for greater grip.
ANATOMICALLY SHAPED HEEL - The heel is anatomically shaped and manufactured in PU. Its particular form was designed and implemented to provide more safety to the foot in case of twisting. The new heel guarantees comfort and stability.
CALF SYSTEM - The boot leg is equipped with a suede calf section cover enriched with embossed rubber inserts which, in addition to providing good grip in contact with the bike, have the function of protecting the leg from heat. The rubber inserts are also found on the inside of the ankle.
HINGE SYSTEM -The Atojo SRS has two flex points (A): the first hinge is positioned under the ankle, to reduce thickness and make the boot smoother and more aerodynamic on the inside(B). The support brace placed inside the boot has a limited range of movement to prevent hyper-extension of the ankle, of the instep and of the back tendon. This technology gives the rider greater security. (A) The second joint, above the ankle, which works in sync with the lower hinge, improves the flexibility of the boot, making the bending movement fluid without compromising rigidity and lateral protection.
HYPER EXTENSION BLOCK - The boot has three anti hyperextension systems for the foot, all removable: the first is located on the first hinge , the second on the back of the boot (the bootleg leans on the ankle avoiding an extra bending backwards), the third is frontal and it is made up of an innovative system that, through a screw on a replaceable insert, allows a specific tibia flexion range and freezes if bending is excessive. A bootleg in PU, connected to the ankle strap through the second hinge, protects the back of the boot and is positioned between the upper and the lining.
