Renovations are well underway at Mounties in preparation for a new state of the art entertainment hub. Further to our last update the Humphries Road Foyer has now been relocated to the M1 Health and Fitness entrance where a sign in desk is now located. The M1 foyer will now constitute as the temporary home for member services where you will be able to sign up and renew memberships, and purchase tickets to your favourite live shows.

Now you can find out whats on at Mounties Group at anyplace and anytime when you download the ‘What’s on Guide’ on your mobile device. Covering the best in dining specials, live music and entertainment, family and variety events and a multitude of live shows, this is your one stop portable Mounties Group information store. Whether you’re on the run or just relaxing at home, you can purchase tickets to your favourite shows, add special events to your calendar, or just browse through our compelling editorials. Temporary hoarding has been erected to improve the design quality of the club and minimise any construction disturbances to ensure patrons continue to utilise club facilities as anticipated. Make sure you visit the new Club Rewards Shop now located at the Meadows Road Foyer where you can use your loyalty points to treat yourself to something special. Merging both the gift shop and bottle shop we have created a one stop shop for all your needs. We are pleased to announce that we have received formal approval from the JRPP for a tremendous new underground carpark and an exclusive food and beverage master plan. Excited? We can’t wait! Once the development of the rear foyer is completed, construction towards this spectacular project will commence. The club will be remain in operation throughout the whole development process and we look forward to your visit. We appreciate your patience as we travel together on the path to unveiling the exciting new development. Stay tuned for more about club renovations in the coming months.

Mounties Group engages in a myriad of programs which aim to enhance the wellbeing of its surrounding communities. The club has developed a number of strong corporate partnerships with organisations that specialise in making a difference in people’s lives. Mounties Group vast operations and networks enable the club to lend a significant helping hand during times of emergencies and crisis. Some of these relief efforts have been made possible through our long standing relationship with CareFlight. CareFlight is an organisation dedicated to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured. Mounties Group has been a proud sponsor of the organisation for three years and with our sponsorship, the doctors and volunteers at CareFlight receive further instrument and mission training to assist their work in rapid response. Thanks to the sponsorship from Mounties Group, CareFlight has also been able to acquire a Flight Simulator which provides aviation training to medical teams learning about aviation procedures and practices.

Over 150 people including many past patients and their families gathered at Westmead on Saturday 28th February to celebrate the 10th anniversary of CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter – the only service of its type in Australia. The event acknowledged CareFlight’s remarkable pre-hospital critical care efforts over the past 10 years and the role of the organisation in saving lives. A number of VIPs also attended the 10 year anniversary, including NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner and CareFlight CEO Derek Colenbrander. Patients were provided the opportunity to meet with doctors and crew who had responded to their previous incidents, and discuss their progress and current situations. Families expressed immense gratitude towards the organisation and the affiliates associated with the provision of its services. Patients were given the opportunity to tour the helicopter illustrating the Mounties Group logo. Mounties Group looks forward to continue working with CareFlight to invest in programs and activities to develop the service, and fulfil its goal of making a positive difference in people’s lives.

On this day we stand together as a nation to commemorate their spirit and our history. We honour the courage of the many Australian soldiers who served and sacrificed their lives in Gallipoli in 1915. It is a day in which not only do we salute the ANZACs, but in paying tribute to them, we also take the opportunity to invigorate our national spirit and pride. Jet entered Mounties Got Talent as a young dancer looking for opportunity to dance and showcase his passion in western Sydney, determined to see how he stacked up against the competition. Standing up alone on stage was daunting for the young and inexperienced performer, but he gave it his all, loving every second that he was on stage. Jet made it to the grand finals. Although he didn’t win, the boost of confidence that he received meant that he knew he could do anything. After his Mounties Got Talent experience, he went on to audition for the TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, making it into the Top 100 of the country. It was here that he met Kookies N Kream. The dance

troupe returned to Mounties Got Talent, this time proving there is strength in numbers, making it all the way to second place. Boyed by their success, Kookies N Kream auditioned for Australia’s Got Talent, making it to the grand finals of the show. Now a national name, Kookies N Kream returned to where it all began, holding two sold out shows at Mounties. Since then, Kookies N Kream have performed throughout Australia and around the world. Mounties is happy to welcome back Jet for the second year as Mounties Got Talent judge. He’s joined by Ben Robertson and Cosima de Vito.
