Samuel John Meyers ’21 Samuel John Meyers, a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, graduated summa cum laude in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education and biology-education, with an endorsement in biological sciences (5-12), along with a coaching certification. At Mount Mercy, Samuel helped educate students by participating in the MMU Science Fun Night at St. Pius X Elementary School. He also volunteered for the Pentecost Novena and served as a small group leader at St. Ludmila Catholic Church. Samuel is a science teacher and coaches sophomore baseball, basketball, and football at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids.
