Alexandra Diersen ’21 Alexandra Diersen, from Solon, Iowa, is graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in psychology. While at Mount Mercy, Alexandra served as the treasurer for the Mount Mercy University Association of Nurses (MMUANS) and was a member of NOVA, Nurses of Vision and Action and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Chapter Kappa Xi. Alexandra is currently a patient care technician at UnityPoint Health–St. Luke’s Hospital and a shift manager at Ronald McDonald House of Cedar Rapids. After graduation, she plans to move to Des Moines and start her nursing career at UnityPoint Health.
