Designed as participatory masterclasses, Insight sessions are facilitated by key members of the company and creative team (such as the director, writer and stage manager) and offer a first-hand insight into the creative choices made in staging a theatre production.
“My enjoyment came from the great energy in the room, the commitment from the students and their willingness to instantly trust me. There were too many moments to recall, I just loved the whole session!” Theatre practitioner, INSIGHT session, Summer 2012

Private Peaceful Written by Michael Morpurgo & adapted for the stage by Simon Reade
Theatre Royal Haymarket Private Peaceful relives the life of Private Tommo Peaceful, a young First World War soldier awaiting the firing squad at dawn. During the night he looks back at his short but joyful past growing up in rural Devon: his exciting first days at school; the accident in the forest that killed his father; his adventures with Molly, the love of his life; and the battles and injustices of war that brought him to the front line. www.trh.co.uk Monday 24th September - 7.30pm Wednesday 26th September - 7.30pm

The Phantom of The Opera Her Majesty’s Theatre
Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, after more than 10,000 performances. www.thephantomoftheopera.com Thursday 25th October – 2.30pm Thursday 8th November - 2.30pm
