Designed as participatory masterclasses, Insight sessions are facilitated by key members of the company and creative team (such as the director, writer and stage manager) and offer a first-hand insight into the creative choices made in staging a theatre production.

“This workshop totally re-iterated the elements of theatre that we try to teach our students - about working as a company, being fully aware but also ‘in the moment’ linking everything to professional practice. The students were fully engaged and having fun whilst learning and participating. A great experience - Thank You!” Teacher from Hewens College, Steptoe and Son Insight, March 2013

Following his triumphant performance as Othello in the West End, Lenny Henry takes on one of the 20th century’s most poignant characters in the story of a family trying to hold itself together and of what happens when a strong man is robbed of his dreams. www.nimaxtheatres.com/duchess-theatre/fences

Two disguised, competing suitors clamour for the hand of beautiful Bianca whilst gold digging Petruchio agrees to wed her viciously ill-tempered sister Kate. The difference between marrying for love and marrying for money becomes increasingly difficult to judge. This brash, brutal and darkly comic story pulls no punches. One thing is certain nobody does Shakespeare like Propeller! www.hampsteadtheatre.com KS3+ Thursday 4 July – 2.00pm Wednesday 10 July – 2.00pm
