careers; however it was the property market that always interested me. I was given the position of Lettings Negotiator in our head office in Liverpool where I excelled and was offered the position of Branch Manager in Warrington in February 2008. How long have you been with your company? I have been with HomeLets for two and half years.

Your name: Antoni Dmochowski (‘Tosh’ for short!). Your business name: HomeLets. Where do you work from? Our office on Sankey Street, Warrington. What’s your job role? My job role is Branch Manager. This includes the day to day running of the Warrington office. I do property appraisals for both sales and lettings valuations, conduct viewings with prospective tenants, perform checkin and check-out appointments and am responsible for advertising, marketing and generating new business. How did you become involved in property? I graduated from the University of Leicester with an Honours degree in Geography. I studied a subject that opened doors to many different

What does the future hold for your company in Warrington? The future for HomeLets in Warrington looks to be very successful. We have been established for over 17 years and in that time have become one of the leading agents in the area. At the start of this year we decided to branch out into sales, which so far, given the current economic climate, has been very successful. How have you been affected by the ‘credit crunch’? We have tried to take a positive outlook with regard to the credit crunch. With our business in the past being primarily lettings, many vendors have decided to let their properties rather than sell. Through this we have had more property come onto the market, hence more choice for prospective tenants. This extra stock has allowed us to rent out more

property and so far has benefited us. With regard to sales, we are also starting to notice more movement in the market, especially from first-time buyers. There is some light starting to peep through at the end of the tunnel. What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you? The best piece of advice I have ever been given is ‘Don’t do tomorrow what you can do today’. This has been very useful in property as you never know what the next day can bring! What do you love about your job? The thing I love most about my job is helping people to find their ideal home. Buying or renting a property is probably one of the most important things people will do in their lives and it’s nice to be part of that! What are your ambitions? My ambition is to strive to make HomeLets the premier agent in the North West. We have a great team both in Warrington and Liverpool and every day we take further strides to maintain this goal.
