FIRE HYDRANT DECORATING CONTEST & SCHOLARSHIP Progress Park Recreation Center Grade: 12
Wentzville Parks and Recreation is offering a scholarship to assist deserving high school seniors who intend to pursue higher education at an accredited community college or higher learning institution. Participants from Holt High School, Timberland High School, Liberty High School, North Point High School and a Wentzville resident high school senior enrolled in a private school or homeschool program will compete to design and decorate a fire hydrant according to the annual theme. This year's theme celebrates Future Dreams! A scholarship will be awarded to five high school seniors. Ages: 18 and Under
Calling all teen singers, dancers, jugglers, magicians, comedians and more! We are searching for a variety of local talent to perform at our events. Selected performers will take the stage for up to 30 minutes and share their talent, skill or ability with the community. All participants must complete an application and could be called upon to display their skills via an interview. Applications can be found online at www.wentzvillemo.gov/teentalent.
