2011 Holiday Train

The Holiday Train's goal is to throw the focus on the important job local food shelves do in your community and to support local leaders in fighting hunger in their neighborhoods. We will be supporting your Salvation Army Food Shelf. Admission to the train and the show is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item. All donations stay in your community and are given to your local food shelf. The more people we can bring out to the show the more we can donate to the food shelf. This is the 13th year of the CP Holiday Train, which has become part of local communities' social fabric. It's all about feeding our communities. The cold reality is that hunger continues to be a problem and food banks need our help now more than ever. Since its launch in 1999, the Holiday Train program has raised close to $5.6 million and 2.5 million pounds of food for North American food banks. This year's show has a brand new stage and lighting design with 3 miles of LED rope lighting. Our headline performer will be Milwaukee folk-rocker Willy Porter.
