Feed Families Food Drive

Mower County USDA Service Center announced that they are partnering with Mower Couty 4H Clubs to participate in the 4th annual Feds Feed Families Food Drive. A fundraising event will begin on August 6th, 2012 at the Mower County Fair Grounds in the 4H Building. All proceeds from food sales in the 4H Building on August 6th, plus any additional cash donations will directly benefit rural food shelves in Mower County including Lyle, Grand Meadow, LeRoy and Southland Disctricts. There will also be a "Kissan Animal" contest involving local celebrities on different days throughout fair week.
