The network is continually evolving with locally supported distributors that are fully trained to assist our customers’ requirements, providing also an efficient ordering and delivery service. • Baneasa works currently in very good conditions with ALL THE MAJOR INTERNATIONAL RETAIL CHAINS, being the only pasta and flour producers that covers completely this distribution channel in ROMANIA, MODOVA and BULGARIA as well. • More than 30 strategic partners, most of them multinational retail chains, put their confidence in Baneasa for the development of their private label projects, appreciating the company as a reliable and innovative co-packer. We offer a full service private label strategy, including consultancy for assortment optimization, defining private label strategies, packaging design, production, logistics and project follow-up.

BRANDS “BANEASA” Baneasa is our flagship brand, created in 1996, that became shortly after its birth one of the major players in all the markets it is serving (wheat flour, pasta, etc.). Baneasa is widely recognized by consumers as a top quality brand of bakery products, flour and pasta. According to Nielsen studies, Baneasa as a producer, dominates strongly the pasta market by holding about 20% of the pasta market. Moreover, by producing most of the private label contracts, Baneasa counts in total for more than 35% of the total pasta consumption in Romania.

“LA GRANDE FAMIGLIA” The purpose of this brand is that of providing the traditional Romanian family with all the basic products required for a comfortable and healthy life - a family of products meant to feed up the whole family. Attractively and conveniently packed, with a very competitive price, La Grande Famiglia products will always remind people about their families, about the warm and intimate atmosphere of home.

“PASTA BUONA” This is our youngest brand of pasta, that provides the best rapport between quality and competitive price available on the market.

“CSALADI” A high quality brand dedicated to the Hungarian ethnic community (approx. 7% of the total population of Romania).

PRODUCTION PLANTS AND EQUIPMENT

• A brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility built in Bucharest, in a very good industrial area. • Baneasa Mill has a grinding capacity of 320 tons per day and works round the clock, 24/7 schedule in 3 shifts. • IFS implemented with High Level score, FSSC, ISO 9000, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications


CONTINUOUS PRODUCT INNOVATION “BANEASA” – FIRST ROMANIAN PRODUCER OF WHOLE GRAIN ORGANIC WHEAT FLOUR • Baneasa Mill for organic wheat was built in 2006 and modernized in the period 2010-2012. It is provided with completely separated and independent storage and production areas, the entire production flow being completely isolated. • The ecologic mill was certified by ECOCERT (code RO-ECO-007) with the certificate no. 7288RO1200Z1r issued on 04.12.2012. • Organic wheat is purchased only from certified Romanian organic farmers.

“BANEASA” – FIRST ROMANIAN PRODUCER OF SELF-RISING FLOUR • Thanks to its extensive research capabilities represented by a very modern laboratory and a dedicated team of specialists, Baneasa Mill is launching innovative products every year • In 2014 Baneasa started a medium-long term research and development programme for creating value-added flours for various purposes • The youngest member of our portfolio is the first self-rising flour produced in Romania


MILLING TECHNOLOGY • Baneasa mill is equiped with installation manufactured by BUHLER (ELVETIA) for wheat and corn processing, and with mixing and trasnportation system of Italian origin, both state of the art, latest generation → application of the most recent technology of selecting, preparing, conditioning and grinding of wheat. • Automated system for humidity regulation → optimal preparation of the wheat for grinding. • Grinding, screening and cleaning the semolina – very important operations – are made using state of the art platens and separators. • The technological closed circuit, completely automated and computer assisted, and the use of materials specific for the food industry guarantee optimum hygienic conditions. • Technical sorting possibilities of different types of semolina with different granulations. • Automated modern homogenization and dosage system (MIXER) → maintenance of a constant quality level of the flours and semolina and addition of different ingredients for the improvement of the flour’s properties or realization of special receipts: gluten, enzymes, vitamins, emulsifiers.

TRADITIONAL HOME-MADE LIKE PASTA Personalized production line, unique, developed by PAVAN (ITALY) specially for producing some specific Romanian fidelini: pasta that imitate the home-made pasta • 3 models available: very thin fidelini (diameter 0,6 mm), thin tagliatelle and wide tagliatelle • Farfalle – the only producer in the region • Lasagna sheets: realized on the same line with laminating technology • All types of traditional pasta contain eggs


PASTA WITH EGGS • In Romania, the market segment of pasta with eggs represents more than 30% in volume and almost 40% in value from the total pasta consumption at national level. In some regions of the country, such as Transilvania, this segment is dominant, holding even shares of 60-70% of the market. • Baneasa is using only high quality liquid egg mélange acquired from the best European suppliers • Production of pasta with eggs is extremely sensitive, due to the high instability of the egg ingredient. This should be handled with extreme precaution, otherwise can be very dangerous for the human health. That is why special installations and special working procedures are needed. • In Baneasa the preparation of the egg mélange is realized in a dedicated, state of the art equipment, UNIQUE in the region. • Basins made of stainless steel with double walls; automatic dosage of the egg melange and of the technological water in the concentrations corresponding to each fabrication receipt; continuous homogenization with the help of an automatic mixer; level sensors for maintaining the desired temperature and concentration; monitoring of temperature and times of homogenization and storage • The egg melange preparation installation guarantees the safety of the food finished products through the existence of a special automated program, with closed washing, rinsing and disinfecting circuit, thus eliminating any risk.


PASTA–PACKING POSSIBILITIES • Polipropilene Bags with sizes between 200 g and 1 kg product net weight • 2 models of bags available: “pillow type” and “stand-alone type” • Possibility of packing in individual carton boxes • Fully automatic line for collective packaging – packs of 4 bags of pasta dedicated to the cash&carry channel or to promotional campaigns • Fully automatic line for bulk packaging – sizes between 2kg and 5kg
