Workshop Second Term
MAKING A FIELD BOOK
Imagine you get involved in a trip/voyage on a sailing boat. Because of some technical problems, the ship has to stop /call in an unexplored tropical island plenty of exotic animals and exuberant vegetation. You find yourself discovering the island, overwhelmed with all this wild nature around you.
You love nature and you realize some of the animals around you are really different from the ones living in your continent. If only Darwin could be here to help you! So you just jump at the chance and decide to take some notes about the animals and plants you are seeing. Your task is to describe one species of animal or plant, and to make a drawing of it. Don’ t worry if you are not very good at drawing, what you have to do is to pay attention to the small details and to describe or draw them.
Make a draft of the text and show it to your teacher before writing it beside the drawing.
