Friday, 12th of December in Rotterdam An exclusive Christmas event for charity purpose ‘Chun Pah Foundation’ and live music performance by ms. Baobao Lin from Shanghai Start: 17.30 - Venue: Schielandshuis, Korte Hoogstraat 31, Rotterdam Dear Madam, Sir, Dragons Businessclub member, This year our annual Christmas Charity Event will take place on Friday 12th of December at the Schielandshuis. This beautiful landmark is located in the centre of Rotterdam. You are most welcome! Auction and lottery for charity purpose We have an exciting program, including a lottery and an auction for charity with great prizes. Such as business class tickets from Amsterdam to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific Airways, flight tickets by Cathay Travel Service, luxury watches, modern art paintings, luxury wines, designer objects, dinner vouchers and many more attractive prizes. All the proceeds will be donated to the Chun Pah Foundation. This project is designed to prevent social isolation of Chinese elderly in the Netherlands. Music performance by famous Shanghainese singer Baobao Lin & lecture by Prof. Peter Ho During this event we will have a magnificent singing performance by our special guest from Shanghai ms. BaoBao Lin and a very interesting lecture by the well-known Prof. Peter Ho about ‘Growth or Crisis in China’, live piano music by the young talented pianist mr. Kai Ming Ip, other speakers and an exclusive Christmas dinner buffet!

Charity purpose: Chun Pah Foundation The Chun Pah Foundation wants to start a project next year which is intended to pay home visits for Chinese elderly people. This is to prevent these Chinese elderly getting into social isolation. Due to the Chinese culture (language, modesty etc.) many of these elderly people are not used to ask for outside help. In addition, there is no subsidy for this project. Due to government cuts these home visits stopped years ago. Therefore Chun Pah wants to send out volunteers to visit those, whom are in social isolation or getting into isolation, to see if they have enough care and attention and if they are in need for any help or practical advice. Such a home visit costs approx. € 25,- per visit (2 to 3 volunteers per home visit). This is purely to cover the travel expenses by the volunteers and flowers or another small gift for the elderly. The target of Chun Pah Foundation is to visit 500 till 600 Chinese elderly next year. Admission: registration in advance is required! - Dragons Businessclub members and their partners/guests: € 50,-* per person (normal price € 95,-); Maximum 1 guest or partner per 1 Dragons member; - Non-members and other interested persons: € 75,-* per person (normal price € 95,-); - Without registration in advance: € 95,- per person at the door. (Admission fee is including dinner, drinks and 1 lottery ticket.) The admission can be paid in cash at the registration desk or via pin. Dress code: festive and chic.
