By age 14 she recorded some of her earliest tracks at her church. Interesting Facts: She became a mother at the tender age of 15. She married Ted White who was also her manager. Her goddaughter was Whitney Houston. Aretha Franklin deserves to be inducted into the Black History Hall of Fame because she grew up without a father and was able to out stand that a empower African American people. Her message was so powerful that they are still famous today such as “Amazing Grace” and “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”
