Kareem Abdul- Jabbar was the #1 pick in the 1969 NBA draft and the same year he won rookie of the year. Kareem number #33 was retired on both of his teams Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. In 1995 he was inducted in the NBA Hall of Fame.
