. Inventor and computer programmer . The work he did led to the color PC monitor . When to Stanford University I believe that Mark Dean deserves to be inducted into the Black History Hall of Fame because he was the person that led to the discovery of the first colored PC monitor which we all know and love. Dean also led a team
of engineers at IBM’s Austin, Texas laboratory and created the first gigahertz chip. Dean was also named an IBM fellow in 1996 he was the first African American to achieve something with that high of a standard.
