Payweight is an AI sire that we plugged in for a number of reasons. He is a very proven sire and had liked a lot of the cattle we had seen around the country. He has mated well with Dave’s cows and the bulls in this offering show it. The female mates in the feedlot look the part and we are excited for the future with them. Lot 48 & Lot 49- A pair of ¼ blood Gelbvieh bulls sired by the popular Payweight 1682 sire. A pair of full brothers sold well in this sale last year. The females behind these two bulls are very similar in stature; heavy made cows with an abundance of bone with perfect feet and udders. We thought the mating worked well the previous year, so we did it again. Both of these females are AI bred back at 8 and 10 years and an end is nowhere near if they keep weaning off studs like these!!

Herd bull alert!!!!!!! There is not much that I need to say about this guy. He has great numbers across the board, a proven pedigree, and has had herd bull presence from day 1. He is a ¼ Gelbvieh Balancer that we can’t take the credit for as this is a Dave ensegrav bred bull. All we did was put the straw of semen in!!
