2

Once upon a time there was a lovely place called Sunshine. Everyone there was peaceful and kind. The sun shone happily all day and a little rain fell each night to water the gardens and fill the water tanks.

3

The animals who lived there were: Bhavini the Bird Nathan the T-Rex Helen the Horse Kyle the Eagle Brandon the Triceratops Faith the Rabbit and Sarah the Cat. They lived together in a

4

beautiful nest.

Nathan the T-Rex liked to play bullrush and ride his bicycle. Helen the Horse liked to collect flowers and water the garden. Kyle the Eagle liked to fly high in the sky and see the world from up high.

5

Brandon the triceratops liked to Fly his kite up, up into the air. Faith the Rabbit liked to cook raspberry muffins and cookies.

6

Sarah the Cat liked to sunbake in the garden and watch the flowers grow. The animals helped each other out. Faith the Rabbit looked after the garden and grew the vegetables to eat and the flowers to make the garden look beautiful.

7

Bhavini the Bird would perch in the tree and give the alert if there was trouble. Nathan the T-Rex looked after the plumbing in the nest. Helen the Horse cooked the delicious meals.

8

Kyle the Eagle did the nest repairs. Brandon the triceratops picked fruit to eat from the top of the fruit-tree. Sarah the Cat kept the vegetable and flower gardens. They had a good life and were happy.

9

Go away! I don’t want to play with you!

But one day a dragon called Arachnotal moved into Sunshine. Arachnotal had very, very bad manners. He got angry and wouldn’t play with anyone.

10

He breathed fire and singed things. He hit the other animals. He also made a potion that would turn you into a monster! Errrggghhhh!

11

Yep! It’s lookin’ bad!

Soon things started to go wrong in Sunshine. The animals found themselves invited into some very bad behaviour.

12

Ouch!

Bhavini the Bird stopped caring and didn’t do her look-out duty. Nathan the T-Rex started kicking.

13

Kyle the Eagle pecked.

***!!!**** Censored!

Brandon the Triceratops punched. Faith the Rabbit smashed things. Helen the Horse swore.

14

Sarah the Cat hissed and spat. Things were a mess! Everyone was feeling bad. Bhavini the Bird felt angry because no-one was listening. Nathan the T-Rex felt angry because things weren’t fair anymore.

15

Helen the Horse felt terrible because it felt like they weren’t friends anymore.

Sob !

Kyle the Eagle felt sad because no-one would play with him. Brandon the Triceratops felt stupid because everything was going wrong and he couldn’t think of what to do to help.

16

Sarah the Cat felt sad and worried because she thought the garden would get wrecked with all the bad behaviour going on.

Helen the Horse and Sarah the Cat worried that all their good their gardening work might be for nothing.

17

Sunshine was not a happy place anymore. Even the sky was upset. It rained all day.

18

“We will have to do something to get peace and kindness back to Sunshine”, said Bhavini the Bird and Kyle the Eagle. “It will be tough,” said Faith the Rabbit and Brandon the Triceratops.

19

“We will need to set a good example and be peaceful and kind ourselves”, said Helen the Horse. ”Let’s work together to make a plan to bring back peace and kindness,” said Sarah the Cat.

20

“Everyone put on your thinking cap, Nathan the T-Rex said. Everyone agreed. They wanted to put the shine back into Sunshine.

21

Everyone made an effort to help out. And then you say “Please”

Please! “Pleas

Bhavini the Bird ignored the bad behaviour and got on with her jobs.

That’s great, Arachotal!

Nathan the T-Rex gave Arachnotal lessons in good manners.

22

Helen the Horse organised some games to play. Kyle the Eagle showed how to play well together by taking turns. Faith the Rabbit set up a stage and turned on the music and they sang and danced and were their very own rock stars. 23

Sarah the Cat fixed up the garden and invited everyone to have a cup of tea with her. Brandon the Triceratops tidied up the mess and fixed the broken things.

24

These actions made a big difference. Bhavini the Bird noticed that everyone seemed to enjoy being helpful. It made them feel much better.

25

Mmmm! Peace man!

Oh, that’s better!

Yippee!

Helen the Horse noticed that things were much more peaceful. Nathan the T-Rex noticed that everyone was more relaxed. Faith the Rabbit noticed that the fighting had stopped.

26

Brandon the triceratops noticed that he felt much happier. Kyle the Eagle noticed that even Arachnotal was smiling. Sarah the Cat noticed that the sun had come out again!

27

Arachnotal did a much better job of fitting in at Sunshine and the others made room for him in the nest. They all learned that thinking before acting helped to make some good decisions. The End!
