Mr. Evil BananA By DYLAN ALAN

Chapter 1

Mr. Evil Banana and his Minions There once was an evil banana named Mr. Evil Banana. He wanted to rule the world but he needed help. His power was to hypnotize all foods in the kitchen to be his minions. His minions would then help him overtake the world. He hypnotized foods like apples, grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, grapes, and bagels. Mr. Evil Banana once was going to hypnotize broccoli and other vegetables, like lettuce and cucumbers to be his minions. For some reason, vegetables held some sort of shield and resisted his hypnotizing power. He desperately tried to hypnotize the broccoli and the other vegetables, but failed. “I will hypnotize you all to be my minions!” snarled Banana.

Chapter 2

The Plan Mr Evil Banana needed to ask his minions for ideas on how to turn the vegetables into his minions because he did not have any. “We should throw a nuke at them!” said Bomber Blackberry. “No explosions”, said Banana. “I have the perfect plan. I am going to be in disguise as a broccoli so I will blend in, then I will hypnotize all the vegetables!” But then the vegetables caught on and were upset! They did not recognize this new broccoli. The vegetables had it! They said, “You need to stop hypnotizing people to be your minions and we declare World War III!”

Chapter 3

World War III The vegetables declared war. “Let’s fight! declared Mr. Evil Banana. The war started. The vegetables were using lettuce boulders and tomato bombs. It seemed like the vegetables were going to win, but the fruit and bagels had one last chance and that was the plan. Mr. Evil Banana was still disguised as a broccoli and sneakily tried to hypnotize the vegetables again. Bomber Blackberry was in a chopper and was about to drop the nuke on the vegetables. Kaboom! All the vegetables died and since Mr. Evil Banana was disguised as a broccoli, he fell too. All the fruits and bagels that were hypnotized were finally free! The End

WORLD WARS FINDS PEACE

Chapter 1 In space on May 23,1400 Springfield was fighting an evil tubby ruler named Sir Fatty, they were fighting by their planets, planet Juettia and planet Yaway. Planet Yaway is where Sir Fatty lived and planet Juettia is were Springfield lived. They both were fighting because Springfield wanted to have peace in the universe but Sir Fatty refused..... Flying together, they were headed to the dungeon when they started quarreling. Suddenly one of Sir Fatty's ships started fracturing Springfield's ships. So Sir Fatty jumped out and flew away in the ship and so did Springfield. But Springfield had an idea, so he stopped chasing Sir Fatty and quickly flew back to his base. Chapter 2 The idea was that Springfield would go down to Sir Fatty's lair in Florida. First, Springfield had to talk with his robot army and chief. ...... It was 7:58 in the morning and Springfield whispered to himself " the battle is on." After Springfield and his army of robots got ready they were happy to go to war. The beginning of the plan was to do a surprise attack on the base. The base was in the desert and covered by a lot of sand. It was covered by a lot of sand because the base was located in Egypt. ...... When Springfield and his robot army arrived, they opened fire on the base. Chapter 3 The army knew where the base was because if you fly over the desert you can see some metal sticking out. Springfield and his robot army tried to land when the door opened, loudly Springfield shouted "HOLD IT, HOLD IT!!!" Him and his robots flew up higher and higher then they opened fire. When Springfield fired a missile the whole entire entry way blew up. After when the explosion was done, all of a sudden Sir Fatty’s ships came up and started to attack. Springfield was enraged he had to tell his army to go back to back to the base. Chapter 4 So when Springfield got back to his base he talked to his chief robot and made his plan B. His plan B was to go and take down Sir Fatty at his new base in Wyoming. ...... Springfield gladly woke up and got ready for the final war. His army did the same thing. When they got all of their guns and bombs ready, they also got their trucks, cars, and missile launchers ready. Then they tested everything they had including the bombs and missile launchers including the king-sized tanks.

Chapter 5 When they got to Sir Fatty’s lair, all of his two million soldiers were in four lines looking professional. He put a chip inside every single one of his soldiers to make them invincible.. But Springfield had only one million soldiers. Now you think Sir fatty’s army is bigger than Springfield's? Well think again because you have to remember Springfield got mad when his plan A failed. Chapter 6 Springfield was provoked by the over weight tubby, Sir Fatty. As they faced each other, Sir Fatty brought out his flying king-sized man eating pigs and threatened "Oh you are going down!" But Springfield brought out his missile launchers and tanks then mumbled "Oh yeah its on like donkey Kong." When Springfield sent five of his missile launchers Sir Fatty's flying king-sized man eating pigs swallowed them!!! The tubby Sir Fatty ordered ten flying king-sized man eating pigs to go and kill Springfield but he was so strong that he punched all of them. Now it was time for war!! Chapter 7 Now Springfield quickly took out his F1-250, which is a machine gun, and shot down half of Sir Fatty flying king-sized man eating pigs and Sir Fatty got magnificently peeved. So he sent his zombies who are is army to go and attack Springfield's army. But Springfield sent ten more missile launchers. But that made Sir Fatty more livid. So Sir Fatty sneaked away to do a surprise attack on Springfield. But Springfield realized Sir Fatty was freakishly walking down the stairs. Chapter 8 So after Springfield saw Sir Fatty go down the stairs he went straight for him. When Springfield and sir fatty met Springfield suddenly dropped kicked Sir Fatty. Then Sir Fatty shouted "Oh yeah, can you beat this?" Then Sir Fatty was about to sock Springfield in the face, but Springfield grabbed Sir Fatty's hand, twisted it and then punched him!!! Chapter 9 Then Sir Fatty pulled out his freeze ray and tried to freeze Springfield. But Springfield pulled out his flame-thrower and disintegrated Sir Fatty!!!!!!!!! Springfield helped his team kill Sir Fatty's army by using his flame-thrower. When they killed the ships, flying king-sized man eating pigs, and his soldiers they flew off with victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!THE END!!!!!!!!!!

The Two Sisters By Alisha Anwar

Chapter 1 “ I can’t wait to see my new sister,” Alice exclaimed.

Alice’s dad was dating a lady named Nancy, who he really liked, and now they’re married. Nancy also had a daughter named Jane, who was Alice’s age.

Alice was anxiously waiting in front of the front door with her dad to see who her new sister would be. She can’t wait to have a sibling because it gets lonely with just herself, her dad and her Grandma Rose.

She took a quick glance at her watch and complained to her dad, “You said they would be here at 7:15 and it’s already 7:15 and 20 seconds.” David calmly said, “ Relax honey, they probably just had a little trouble pack…” when suddenly the door busted open and her new mom shouted, “ We’re Home.”

Alice was looking to see who her new sister would be but then she heard a voice say to Nancy, “ Oh mom, I left my book in the car, I’m going to get it.” Alice knew that voice from somewhere, but then she just ignored it to see her new sister’s face. When she was just about to exit the door, she took a quick glance at her sister and screamed, “ NOOOO!” Her sister was Jane Quan, the most snobbiest and meanest girl in her grade.

Her dad quickly and swiftly ran to her and asked, “What happened?” When Jane ran inside because she heard the scream and she saw Alice, she said to her mom sarcastically, “ This is going to be a really good sisterhood.”

Chapter 2 “ Here’s your new room.” Alice showed Jane her new room, and then thought to herself, “ Well, since Jane is my new sister, I should try to get along with her.” So she went inside Jane’s new room and started helping her sister get unpacked.

Alice took out a picture of Jane posing on it with her dad. She had never seen Jane so happy. Alice asked, “ Where should I put this picture?” Jane turned to see the picture and snatched right out of Alice’s hand and said, “ Don’t touch this picture, it’s the only thing that makes me happy.” Alice asked her, “ Why is it the only thing that makes you happy?” Jane shouted, “ Don’t ask that question ever again!” Alice felt mad at Jane because she screamed at her just for touching a picture.

Then she heard her Grandma Rose say, “ Who wants key lime pie?” Alice quickly ran down the stairs but her father stopped her and said, “ Where are you going little missy?” Alice answered, “ To go get some of grandma’s delicious key lime pie.” “ Aren’t you forgetting someone, like your sister?” “ Why do I have to ask her, she hollered at me just because I touched a picture with her and her

dad.” “ Well maybe she misses her old dad just like you miss mom.” “ Okay, I’ll go ask her if she wants any key lime pie.”

Alice went back upstairs and went into Jane’s room. Jane looked at her and said, “ Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?” Alice really wanted to leave but then she thought that her dad would get mad her. So she asked politely, “ Do you want some of my grand …, I mean our grandma’s key lime pie?”

Jane rudely answered, “ No way, I hat key lime pie and I would definitely not want it made from your grandma’s wrinkly hands.” Hen Jane gave Alice a scornful look. Alice just said, “ More for me!”

Chapter 3 “ Dad, I don’t feel so good.” Alice was sick in bed with a stomachache on an early Monday morning. Are you okay honey, your stomachache must be from all of the pieces of pie you ate yesterday,” her mom said. Alice looked up and declared, “ I want my dad.” “ Your dad went to the supermarket,” her mom replied.

“ You should stay home from school honey, you look awful.” “ But my history teacher said that I have a really big test this Friday and she said that we would know the materials to study on Monday and Monday is today!” “ Don’t worry sweetie, Jane will get them for you, now rest.

As Nancy went out of Alice’s room, Jane quickly came in front of her mom and said, “ I am not getting her homework.” “ Why don’t you want to get Alice’s homework?”

Even though this was outside of Alice’s room and in the hallways, Alice could still hear the whole conversation.

“But I don’t like Alice,” Jane said. “Well you just need to know her better.” “ I do know her, we had the same math classes in 3 years straight, I clearly know her.” “ Jane.” “ Fine, I’ll get her homework.”

Jane went to school like a normal day, but then Maria and Kate stop her and ask,” Where’s Alice?” Jane rudely answered, “Why do you want to know?” “ Because, we’re her best friends” “ Uh, okay, she got a stomachache, now could you just leave me alone!” Kate said, “ Okay, jeez.”

Jane walked past them and went into Emery Middle School to look for her own friends, Jessica and Libby. As she walked up to them, she said, “ Hey girls.” Libby asked, “What did you do on the weekend, I went roller skating.” Jessica said, “ I went to Los Angeles to visit my grandma and grandpa.”

Jane said, “ I had to move with my mom to my NEW dad’s house because my mom got married.” “ Does she have any children?” Libby asked. “ Yeah, you

know Alice Tom in Ms. Mifflin’s class, well, she’s my new stepsister.” “ Uh I would hate to be you, Alice is sooo perky,” Jessica rudely said. Libby questioned, “ Wait, where is Perky Alice, I don’t see her?” “Oh, she got sick with a stomachache.”

You know what we should do, we should make a rumor about Alice,” Jessica said. Jane asked, “Well, what should he rumor be about?” Jessica said, “ Maybe we should say that she picks her nose 24/7.” “ Ew, that’s so gross,” Jane answered. “ Well you wanted a suggestion.” “ Yeah, but you didn’t need to make a disgusting one.” Libby said, “ Maybe we should make a rumor about Alice liking Fumper Pumpernickel, the guy with the most pimples o his face.” Jan responds, “ Yeah, let’s do it!”

Jane went on her phone and texted everyone, including Fumper Pumpernickel, Alice Tom LOVES Fumper Pumpernickel. Libby counted 1,2,3 when everyone looked at their phone and start laughing. Jane said, “ Good job girls.”

Chapter 4 “ Hey guys.” Alice was waling toward her friends, when suddenly a boy started pointing at her and screamed, “ Look, here’s the girl who LOVES Fumper Pumpernickel.” “ No I don’t.” Alice was trying to tell the students but they kept

laughing at her. Alice miserably and sadly ran out of school bursting into tears since she got humiliated.

Maria said to Kate, ‘Let’s go get her.” Maria and Kate ran after Alice , but then Alice turned around and said, “ Just leave me alone!” Maria and Kate ran back to school and Kate said to Jane, “ Why did you make a dumb rumor about you own sister, she tells us that she cares about you but it’s obvious that you don’t care about her. You’re sometimes nice on the outside, but your mean and cruel on the inside. Your like the Wicked Witch of the West!” Right then and there Jane felt really guilty and knew she did the wrong thing, when suddenly Fumper Pumpernickel, who is Alice’s fake crush, came up to her and said, “Even though you said a girl liked me, it was still the wrong thing to do because everyone knows she doesn’t like me.” Now Jane felt really bad, so she ran out of school and started looking for Alice. Then she finally saw Alice crossing a street. Jane screamed, “ Stop Alice, I’m sorry that I made a rumor about you. It’s just that I’m not used to having a new sister.” Now Jane was standing in the middle of the road. Alice replied, “ Well that doesn’t mean you need to make a rumor about m…” when suddenly Alice saw a truck and pulled Jane on the sidewalk. Jane was about to ask Alice of why she did that, when she aw a big truck go past her. Jane asked Alice, “ Why didn’t you just let me get run over, why did you save my life?” “ Because, I care about you.” “ Thank you Alice, thank you so much.” I forgive you and your welcome.”

Introduction “Ripply, it’s me Sandy!” yelled Sandy from behind the door. “Good morning Sandy. Come on in.” Ripply exclaimed. Ripply and Sandy are both beautiful dragons. Ripply who is a water dragon is brave, lucky, happy and funny. She has pale blue scales with a creamy texture. Her eyes are as blue as the ocean and her ears have a dark blue tip. Sandy who is a sand dragon is glamorous, cheerful, caring and imaginative. She is also Ripply’s best friend. She has tan colored scales with a rough texture. She has dark brown eyes and her ears have a brown tip. “Ok Ripply, I’ve got snacks and drinks in my bag. Are you ready to go to the movie?” asked Sandy

“Um not yet but come read this story I found last night.” Flames the rudest and trickiest dragon is on the loose. Flames is a master of disguise. She will do anything to get her talons on money. She has bright red scales with a bumpy texture. She has dark red eyes and her ears have a black tip. “Wow Ripply, I am so happy that we won’t see her.”

Chapter 1: Flames in Disguise Accidently sitting by Flames disguised as an old dragon, Ripply started talking about her big win. “Hey, Sandy I was so lucky to win that one million dollars for my charity.” As Ripply and Sandy kept talking, Flames started planning a plan in her mind to get Ripply’s money. “I will get her money”, Flames pondered, “No matter what!” “Girls, I am, ummm, Fire and I couldn’t help but hear that you two like money. Well, I know about a lost treasure in the Ice Temple. So far no one has found it. I think that you two can find it though”, exclaimed Flames. “Thanks for that tip”, replied Ripply.

“Sandy did you hear that, I can get more money for my charity”, Ripply said excitedly. “Ripply, I don’t believe that’s a good idea. Remember Flames is on the loose. You never know who you can trust.” “Oh, I see. You don’t want me to get that money for my charity so you can use it for yourself.” “Ripply, it’s not like that!” “Sure it isn’t. I am going for that money and there’s nothing you can do about it.” “Ok fine, do whatever you want!” At that, they both flew off. Ripply went to the Ice Temple and Sandy went home. “Like stealing candy from a baby”, Flames whispered to herself. Then Flames flew off to her cave.

Chapter 2: The Trap In the Ice Temple, Ripply quickly walked through the door and started looking for the lost treasure. She was really anxious to find it. After awhile, she heard a big crash from the room she was about to enter. Then some voices started talking but she was too scared to go in so she listened. “Help me, someone”, yelled a soft voice. Of course, this was part of Flames plan. “Be quiet, someone is here”, whispered Flames. “Sparky, go roundup that new prisoner of mine.” “Oh no”, cried Ripply.

Sparky is a fire horse. Fire horses are huge creatures that are much bigger than dragons. All of the creatures Flames has, Flames has made. “Ahhhh”, screamed Ripply. For she had been forced into a corner by Sparky the fire horse. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Ripply.” “Who are you and how did you find me? Wait, you’re Flames!” “Yes I am. Now get into this cage – NOW!” “Okay, okay!” “Sparky, carry the prisoners over to the flame cave. This place is killing me!” Once Ripply and Snowflake, who was another prisoner, were on Sparky’s back, Ripply tried talking to Snowflake. “So, my name is Ripply. What is your name?’ asked Ripply. “Snowflake, my name is Snowflake”, she responded quietly.

Snowflake who is a snow dragon is smart, shy, brilliant and when you get to know her she is very talkative. She has white scales and with a smooth texture. She had the palest blue eyes you ever saw and her ears had a crystal tip. “So, Snowflake, when did Flames capture you?” “When I was little, she killed my parents and took me. She doesn’t trust me because every time she lets me out of my cage I try to escape. But she always catches me.” “I would try to escape too if I were you. Where are we?” Ripply looked around. They were in a huge cave with different tunnels. In the main cave, there were statues of fire dragons with their heads looking up. So when you turned them on fire would come out of their mouths and light up the room. Snowflake and Ripply were hung over a fire pit, so their cages got really hot. They were left alone for a while. So they

started talking about how they were going to get out. Their plan was: First, Snowflake would convince Flames to let her go so she could fly away to get Sandy. Finally, Snowflake would bring Sandy back so Sandy would rescue them. Once Snowflake was out of her cage their plan would begin. After about an hour, Flames entered the main cave. “Snowflake, I am going to let you out of your cage but if you try to fly away, you will get more fire scars”, threatened Flames.

Chapter 3: Sandy Meets Flames “Sandy, are you in there?” called Snowflake. Snowflake had made it out of the flame cave and to Sandy’s house. After a few minutes, Sandy opened the door. “Hello, who are you?” Sandy asked when she opened the door. “Are

Then all of a sudden a bunch of Flames minions came and took Snowflake back to the cave and others put a bag over Sandy’s head, made her dizzy and let her fall but they didn’t know that she was the one who had the money. After the minions left, she look off the bag and kept on flying towards the cave. Once she found the cave, she walked in slowly and quietly. She entered the main cave and saw Snowflake and Ripply hanging over the fire pit. “Snowflake, Ripply what happened! Ripply, I how you got here Snowflake told me, but Snowflake, what happened?” “Well once they separated us, they took me back to my cage and Flames gave me more scars. See!” exclaimed Snowflake.

Right on Snowflakes wing were two black scars that had blood stains all around them. “Sandy, quick, open our cages” Ripply yelled. Then Flames came out from one of the tunnels and started talking to Sandy. “Sandy, your friends are in great danger. You can save them if you give me your one million dollars.” Sandy knew what Flames was doing. So she made up a lie so she would let her friends go. “What million dollars? I don’t have that, my friend does!” “What!” This shocked Flames so much that all of a sudden the cage doors flung opened. Snowflake and Ripply dashed out towards Sandy. While Flames was still in shock they made a plan to capture Flames. First, Ripply soaked down

Flames so she couldn’t hurt them. Then, Ripply turned the fire pit into a pool while Sandy and Snowflake pushed Flames into the pool. Finally, when Flames was in the pit, Snowflake froze the water and Sandy covered the frozen pit with sand. Now Flames was dead and trapped in the ice and the world was safe.

Meteors, San Francisco and Me

My Life and Meteors: Chapter 1 Today was just like every other day. I, unwillingly lazily, woke up in San Francisco and told my little brother to get up. What I didn’t know, was today my life would be changed forever. As I walked in the room I heard my brother tell me to look at the weather forecast on T.V. I quickly made my way to the couch next to the T.V. because my little brother never watches the weather channel. “Today’s weather will be very shocking and quite frightening to many of you. As some of you may know about half a dozen meteors have come close to Earth’s atmosphere lately. But now scientists are predicting one meteor in particular will actually come crashing down on Earth.” The news man stated slightly shaking. “Why do you think he’s shaking, Ace?” my little brother Jake asked. I replied back calmly telling him I wasn’t sure, even though I knew that it was probably because the meteor was headed to San Francisco. We were walking down the street when suddenly Jake stopped and I saw his big blue eyes widen as he exclaimed, “Run a meteor is headed straight for us!” The “Fun” Begins: Chapter II Crash! It had just fallen from the sky. People were screaming, buildings were being destroyed, and cars were wrecking into everything. Somehow we survived the insane disaster injured but alive. I was bruised and cut but Jake broke his arm from the impact. “Ouch!” he yelped as I tried to pick him up. Suddenly, I heard a short tune and picked up my phone. I get a text message that said: MEET ME AS SOON AS YOU CAN AT THE WHEREHOUSE -TONY While we were walking through the neighborhood I looked around . . . buildings were destroyed, cars on fire, and survivors mourning hopelessly over friends and family. As soon as I got to the warehouse I went straight to Tony. I found a campsite a little over 5 miles from here and I think we should check it out.” he suggested. “No way!” my little brother moaned, “My entire body is sore and I think I broke my arm!” Jake rubbing his hurt arm. Because there were no doctors around we gently wrapped it up with some bandages. “Rest here while me and Tony go to the campsite. Don’t worry we’ll be back.” I told him.

The Mysterious Tribe: Chapter III Tony and I jogged to the camp. By the time we got there it was starting to get dark. “I see somebody! Come on!” Tony said excitedly Although Tony was very smart he didn’t always think things through “That’s not a good idea what if they are . . . “ but before I could finish he was already gone. I sprinted swiftly after him then suddenly something grabbed me and everything went dark after that. I was probably out all night which wasn’t good because when I woke up it was morning. As I curiously looked around I noticed Tony was still out cold, and I couldn’t move. Why am I tied to this tree? I wondered to myself. “WAKE UP!!!” I heard the mysterious people yelling at Tony. “But it’s a Saturday morning Mom.” He was obviously not aware at what was happening so they moved on to me. Their dark black boots stomped in the muddy forest. “Who are you!” they questioned. I hesitantly gave them information. “My name is Ace, and I am 13 years old.” “And!” the man persisted. He grew annoyed and angry as I wouldn’t talk. He glared at me as furiously as a caged tiger. Before I knew it I saw a glimpse of a fist coming my way and I was knocked out once again. As I woke up I couldn’t believe my eyes, Tony, the worst negotiator that I had ever met was socializing with the man who had just socked me in the face! And to make it even more strange I saw Jake happily standing with Tony and the other man. “Oh hey Ace you finally woke up.” My brother said. Meeting Old Friends Chapter: IV “We will search for your family at first light!” said the man, in his big booming voice. “Why can’t we just go now?” I questioned. “Because we need to prepare and at night it will be more dangerous” he replied. As we slept through the night I still had trouble trusting this mysterious person who I didn’t know anything about. In the morning, he gave me, Tony, and Jake each small weapons. We were walking through the post - apocalyptic looking city and I heard Jake shout, “Hey, is that Mom and Dad?” I saw the surprised people turn around and look and knew instantly that was them. There was only one problem though, they either didn’t seem to recognize us or saw something else they weren’t happy about. Suddenly, I had a feeling that they were not surprised to see us, but surprised to see the man that brought us to them. “Henry!” my parents shouted with anger in their voices. “Who is Henry?” Tony asked. “Henry was a very good friend and we used to do everything together, we were inseparable, until one day when my wife and I went on vacation and when we came back,

Henry had taken money out of our bank account and stolen from our home.” my Dad replied. “My only question is, how did you know where they were, if you had lost connections with them a while ago?” I interrogated Henry. “Honestly, I had no idea where they were, I had to walk around with you little brats until one of you spotted them.” Henry insulted. “That means that this was just so we could lead you to our parents, which also means this is a trap!” I exclaimed. As we all darted away from Henry, a car pulled up beside us and blocked our path. I assumed it was one of Henry’s friends. Luckily there was a police car patrolling the streets for survivors and saw what was happening. “Put your hands in the air!” I heard a voice say from a megaphone. Now there was no way getting out of it for Henry and his mischievous friend. About a year later, Henry was finally sentenced to 20 years in prison for assault and intent to murder a family. Tony and I are now both 14 years old and helping to rebuild the city. As for the rest of my family, they have all forgotten about Henry and hope to never see him ever again. Now our family and Tony are closer than ever and cherish each day together.

Chapter 1 “The Hamster” He was born, a hamster born by a cat, who works at home. On May 4, 2010 he was born on Khan, a planet that is enormous and like Earth, but full of crystals. His dad was a giraffe, but not just a giraffe a ninja. The baby hamster was named Titan, and he attended a martial arts school at the age of 6. Chapter 2 “Friends” At school he made friends with a tuna fish named Starchy. They were taught by Clint Eastwood and Chuck Norris, who are one of the best fighters in the world. Also Starchy and Titan were exquisite friends with a $100 dollar bill and a bagel. But the bagel left the school because a guy wanted to munch him up. So it was the three of them $100 dollar bill, Starchy, and Titan. The $100 dollar bill’s name was Bill. After one class with Chuck Norris, they would go to Clint’s class, then they would hang out in their tree house or the ice cream shop. Chapter 3 “The Army” One day they were at the pool and Bill asked “Can we make a team to save Khan from all enemies?” “Sure we can, but we have to pass teachings from Clint Eastwood and Chuck Norris, then get a good army, a place to meet up with all the generals, then

we need good weapons, a laboratory, a base, and find enemies to fight.” Starchy replied. “Oh my gosh, that is a lot of things to do and we are like 6 or 7.” Titan remarked. “Oh, I know what army we should get.” Starchy said. “What?” Titan and Bill questioned. “A bagel army!” Starchy replied. “What?!” They both shouted at Starchy. “LOL!” They both laughed. “No guys there perfect, because the bullets would go right through them and their weakness is eating them, also we can ask Banjo to be leader.” Starchy replied. “Alright, fine we will get a bagel army.” Titan mumbled. After they talked about it they went to Banjo’s house. (Banjo is the bagel) So they talked about it and Banjo joined the team. Chapter 4 “5 Years Later” “Ok guys you have 5 or 15 years to pass this class and same with Clint” Chuck Norris exclaimed. “WHAT!?! No this can’t be, WHY?!” Banjo yelled his mouth out at Chuck Norris. Chapter 5 “Uh Oh! Why You Doing That” “Ok we have a conclusion there are 5 more years to pass the classes with me and Clint Eastwood.” Chuck Norris exclaimed to the whole class.

“Alright, but come on you should have told us earlier.” Bill remarked. “I’m terribly sorry so don’t you….” “Wrrrrr” a noise was interrupted Chuck Norris. “What the heck was that!?!” Titan questioned. “I don’t kn…” “KABOOM!!!” something exploded. “Holy Bagels we are going to die in this building!!!!” Banjo yelled. “R.I.P to all of us!!” a student shouted unhappily. “Ok, stay calm we have R.P.G.S right, right!?!” Starchy asked loudly while bombing was happening outside. “Of course we do lets destroy some bombers.” Chuck Norris yelled happily. “Ratatatat!” It was the sound of machine guns coming from choppers. “Well, choppers will be destroyed as well!” Banjo shouted. Chapter 6 “Hasta La Vista Baby” As the bombers kept bombing and choppers kept shooting, Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris, and the class quickly sprinted toward the R.P.G.S, ammunition, and guns to take down the choppers and bombers to save the town named Kenik. One of the choppers almost destroyed another school, but got shot down by one of the students at the school. The

whole class shouted and screamed ‘Die you little doughnuts’, but really Banjo was shouting that since he was a bagel. Then Banjo shot a perfect and amazing shot at a chopper that was heading straight for them. All the bombers were gone, just 5 choppers and 2 sending in the most overpowered animals, and they are pigs. “OMG, not the pigs!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!” Starchy yelled. After, all the bullets went through Banjo, the pigs were dead with left over bacon, and there was 1 chopper that was heading straight for them! Then Titan shouted like Arnold Schwarzenegger “Hasta La Vista, Baby!” Then he shot the R.P.G, and it hit the chopper turned around and it exploded. Then he put some shades on and yelled “I am a Boss!” Chapter 7 “Another 5 Years” “Ok guys since I’m getting old I will retire in 5 months, so after that you guys will be let go.” Chuck Norris informed the class. That is correct I will also retire with Chuck and you guys will make a group or not.” Clint Eastwood exclaimed. “Alright cool because Titan, Banjo, Starchy, and I already made a group for crime fighting.” Bill exclaimed.

“That’s good, but lets practice now for class” Chuck replied. Then a song came on called “Everybody was KungFu Fighting!” Then Clint left for a break while everyone was in session with Chuck Norris and help from Jackie Chan. After, that they would got to Clint’s class to use guns. Chapter 8 “The Group Meets Banjo’s Bagel Cave” 2 months later…. “Guys I know what name we should call our group!” Starchy said excitingly. “What!?” The three of them questioned. “Guardians of Khan.” Starchy replied. “Alright cool I like it.” Titan agreed. Then they all agreed with the name and then Banjo told them to meet at his house. … When they reached the house Banjo opened the door and they got in. Banjo then lead them to his room and had lots of things to do for security to get them in the room of stuff. Then they got in the Bagel Cave. Banjo welcomed them by saying, “Welcome to the Bagel Cave!” “Wow, this place is awesome!” Titan yelled. “You said it!” Starchy agreed. There was a lot of bagel things for battle and it’s like the Bat Cave, but bagel stuff.

Chapter 9 “We Can Finally Go Now” “YAY, we are finally out now, it’s about time!!!” Titan yelled. “Yup we are finally done.” Bill agreed. Then Titan told them to go to his house for a meeting because Titan told them that they don’t need an army it could just be the four of them. Chapter 10 “It’s Coming” After they talked about just having the four of them saving Khan, an enormous zombie was coming to destroy their town in Khan. He was named Chubby Face. He was a zombie that no one ever seen. It came 2 hours after Titan talked about having no army. When the zombie became the enemy of Guardians of Khan and he laughed. Chapter 11 “The Start of a Battle of all Battles” “Here, get some breakfast we got 2 huge days!” Titan insisted. “Thanks brah!” Banjo shouted. The four of them ate breakfast and heard that the zombie was coming for them! Then they got their armor and weapons for battle. Chapter 12 “Hasta La Vista Again” “He is here! Lets kill him!” Starchy yelled.

“Good Luck!” The zombie shouted. “We don’t need it because we are overpowered!” Banjo replied. “Come at me brah lets go!” He shouted back. Then some minions appeared for battle. 5 hours later… “NOOO!! This can’t be!” Chubby Face yelled in pain. “Give me the sword!” Titan shouted. Then the most overpowered sword which was the most OP Bagel Sword ever created was in the hands of Titan. “Any last words!?” Bill shouted. “You guys will pay!” Chubby Face shouted. “Well, Hasta La Vista Baby!!” Titan screamed. Chapter One Eat, chew, drink, and watch. That’s Bisto’s home lifestyle ever since his mom died in a train crash near Davis, California when he was 10 years old. It was an Amtrak train called the Capital Corridor, bound for Oakland. It derailed when the trestle it was crossing gave way and crashed into the rice fields. Bisto had never been the same since and it seemed as though he never did much more around the house than what his mother taught him. Bisto had always been fascinated with transportation. His first love was trains, but after the death of his Mom he decided to pursue a life in aviation and joined the Airforce and had a great career flying F-‐18 hornets and F-‐22 raptors at the North Island Airforce Base. Bisto is now retired and remained living in San Diego, California. With not a lot of family or friends he is depressed, with only the TV, Playstation 3, food, and his I-‐Phone and I-‐Pad. One day, Bisto’s cousin, Remmi, called him. Bisto packed his food away and answered the phone. “What’s up?” he said sulkily. “Bisto, quick come to the Vons in Pacific Beach? A plane…..” There were a series of exploding noises before the line dropped. Bisto, who was in shock, dropped the phone.

Chapter Two Bisto knew Remmi was in trouble. When he got to his car, he spotted black smoke rising into the air from the Pacific Beach area. Bisto drove as quickly as he could (75 mph) to find his cousin. Along the way Bisto turned on the radio and heard that a small plane departing Miramar Airfield had crashed into the shopping center directly hitting the entrance to the Vons grocery store. He drove fast and tried to get as close as he could to the shopping center. Time was a major factor because in front of Vons was a cabinet full of propane tanks for sale that was feeding the fire because they were exploding one at a time and helping the fire rage on. The firefighters from nearby suburban stations crowded the parking lots surround the shopping center with their fire trucks ready to fight this raging fire. Bisto was terrified, confused, angry and sad all at once. He grabbed a fire extinguisher and without hesitation sprinted into the burning building in search of his cousin Remmi. It was dark and smoky, so smoky that Bisto had to close his eyes because his eyes began to sting. He sprayed the fire extinguisher randomly around all around him, clearing away the smoke. Then he gasped when something touched his

foot. He looked down at his foot. He could make out a body and it looked much like his cousin Remmi, but Bisto thought he may be imagining things. “Remmi, is that you?” Bistro shouted out nervously. The body flinched and weakly replied “Yes, Bisto, its me Remmi”. Bisto felt around in the smoke and tried to prop his cousin up but Remmi had inhaled too much smoke and seemed to be fading away. “Bisto, please tell my wife and kids that I love them always and forever. I love you to cous…..” Remmi’s head fell backwards and his eyes closed and he was gone. “Remmi?”, Bisto shouted with a hint of anger in his tone. “No, no, no not like this! REMMI!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO….” And for the first time since his Mom died, Bisto cried. The firefighters were searching through Vons for any survivors and heard Bisto shouting and found him and took him and his cousin Remmis lifeless body out of the building safely through the back entrance.

Chapter Three

Remmi’s funeral was held at Point Loma, near the lighthouse in a naval garden, on behalf of Bisto and the General of the North Island Airforce Base. Remmi’s family members and friends and people affected by the airplane crash were in attendance to pay their respects to Remmi. Bisto was the most down hearted at the funeral. Bisto could not shed any tears from his eyes, but on the inside , his heart was shedding many tears because it was very hurt and broken. Bisto knew he needed to start his own investigation. He wanted to find out why that plane had crashed into the Vons in Pacific Beach and killed his cousin and others. He wanted to trace the flight path of the plane and figure out why it had crashed into the Vons Building. After the funeral Bisto set out for Miramar Airfield. Bisto knew from the radio report that the plane had originated from Miramar Airfield so he got in his car and headed to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Center. Bisto knew his old co-‐workers worked there and he would demand some answers about the plane crash. Bisto knew the news wasn’t reporting the true story. When Bisto arrived at the ATC he stormed in and went straight to the station he knew his old pals worked at.

Chapter Four

When Bisto arrived at the ATC he noticed he spotted Luke Givens (aka “Golden Eagle”) working in one of the hangers next to the ATC. He was working on a plane that had a detached engine. Bisto walked up behid him and put his hand on his shoulder. “Golden Eagle” looked up to see his old training buddy, Bisto Rameriez, standing behind him with a huge frown on his face. “Hey Bisto, what up? Where’s your smile at man?” Luke said with concern. Bisto told Luke all about the plane crash and that his cousin was in Vons and died in the aftermath. “Aw man, Im so sorry that happened to you”, Luke said

with sympathy in his voice. “I am on a tight deadline and have to work on this stricken aircraft and am unable to help you find out more information right now.” Bisto stood there wondering what to do next when he noticed that the aircraft Luke was working on was a Skywest Embrader 120. “What’s that prop doing at a small airport like this? I thought Skywest only lands at San Diego International” Bisto asked. Luke went on to explain that the engine had broken off completely and they had moved the airplane to Miramar so the Airforce could investigate and fix the problem on the plane. Just then Luke received a call on his phone. After listening to the person on the other end and ending the call Luke exclaimed “My friend just called to say he has more information from some of the recordings from the plane that crashed into the Vons.” Bisto immediately became excited that he may receive some information on the plane crash. Luke needed to meet the friend at his house. So he went and requested the rest of the day off from his boss and the two headed to Lukes house that was located on Mount Soledad. Once they arrived at Lukes house they were greeted in the driveway by Lukes friend Jay. Jay works in the ATC at Miramar and was able to get a copy of the recordings to share with Luke and Bisto. In excitement they ran into the house quickly. “Now” said Luke loudly “lets listen to the recording!” Will Bisto find out why his cousin Remmi died or will his memories of Remmi be haunted forever? Chapter 1

Good Morning Toby his cozy little bed, until the alarm clock was in rang crazily. Right when Toby heard the alarm clock ring, he turned it off. Toby walked past all the rooms where his family was sound asleep and Toby made some breakfast. He poured cereal in his bowl and his sister’s bowl as if she was right there. As Toby poured some milk in his bowl of cereal Nancy, Toby’s sister, came bursting out of her room and poured milk on her bowl of cereal. Munch, munch, much they chewed. While Toby and Nancy was eating Paul, oldest brother, and their parents came out of their rooms yawning loudly. Nancy, like always, asked her parents if she can use the computer. They replied” Can you read a book first?” Then Nancy zoomed to go choose a book and jogged to her room. Paul, who’s lazy all the time, sat down on the couch to watch TV. Until their mom asked Paul” Can you go out and hang out with your friends and don’t go watching TV.” While Paul went out the door, Toby sneaked into his bedroom and played video games with his headphones on. Paul finally came home because

he got kicked out by his friends. As Paul came through the door, Nancy came out of her room and went on the computer. Like always Nancy played gun games. Pew, pew, pew the guns would go. Just then Nancy stood up and went straight to get a pair of headphones. Paul, with his laziness, sat on the couch again and turned on the TV. As Nancy finished her game she asked her parents if she can go to the movies. Their parents replied” Why don’t you go to the park instead?” “Awe man, fine!” Complained Nancy Their parents added” And don’t forget to go with Paul and Toby”

Chapter 2 In the park

“At least we can get fresh air” exclaimed Toby After few minutes walking around the park a voice shouted” Hey you, you ain’t a bully?” “Ummm… no.” replied Toby “B’cause me and him are bullies” exclaimed the boy “ M’names Tommy and here is Bob, we here are here to bully you and everyone in the world!” “Can you guys bully on other people first?” asked Toby

“We sure can, but you have to stay here!” shouted Tommy with an angry but cheerful face. Then the three kids, Nancy, Toby, and Paul, gathered up into a group and discussed what to do in a timely manner. “Don’t you think that those bullies are dumb, I mean they told us their plan on what to do, don’t you think?” “Yeah, but I think we can slap them with this glove I found on the grass.” Nancy said. “Ewww… that’s gross and dumb Nancy, Put it away!” Shouted Toby and Paul. That was when Paul got an idea and he explained it. Right when Tommy and Bob arrived to bully them Nancy, Paul, and Toby stood in their positions. “Where are the other two kidz?” asked Tommy “They’ll be back in a bit” replied Toby “Then we’ll bully you first.” laughed Tommy Tommy gripped Toby’s face tightly, and Bob punched him and did a dirty finger sign. Then Bob Held Toby’s face, right when Tommy was about to punch him, Paul and Nancy came bursting out and Punched Bob and Tommy.

Chapter 3

Lesson Learned The three kids, Nancy, Paul, and Toby came home as fast as a lightning bolt. They told everything to their mother. Then, she finally replied” You guys just taught them a lesson, now you get free time, do whatever you want. Nancy, of course went straight for the computer while Paul and Toby sat on the couch to watch TV. The End

Chapter 1 There’s No Way Out Just a week ago, a new game came out. The game marked history, a virtual land that looked like reality. It used a headset which had an eternal battery and stopped any motions you did in the game from affecting you in real life. The game was called Magical Powers Gaming. One of the 1,000 people to be in the beta test logged in to the alpha version. His name was Kirito. He listened to the short and catchy theme song and created a character with light blue hair. Once he logged in, he saw something he never imagined possible, a virtual world that looked and felt like reality. Spawnpoint-‐Main Village his holographic map read. Just a moment later, he remembered that it was a game based off of magic and ran to a magical shop. They were selling wands, staffs, and much more. Kirito bought a strong, light staff and decided to head to hunting grounds to level up. While dashing to the hunting grounds a man who looked to be in his mid-‐twenties greeted him. “Hello,” he said. “Hi,” Kirito replied. “Is there something you want?” “Yes,” he replied. “I saw you running around and you look like you know what you’re doing. PLEASE help me!!! “Sure, but first could I know your name,” Kirito asked. “Okay. I’m Karagaya Klien. Please just call me Klien” he said. “I’m Kirito. Nice to meet you. I was heading to the hunting grounds, you want to join me? “Heck ya!” He replied. For 5 minutes they walked, and eventually made it to the hunting grounds. Beginners Hunting Grounds-‐Grassy Field. “Okay, first off, what do you use for combat, wand or staff?” Kirito asked. “Wand” Klien replied. “Okay. For wands if you think of object and say the objects name and then say rain it will happen. For example you could think of swords and say, ‘Sword Rain!’ Got it?” Kirito said. “Sure do” Klien replied. Just then a wolf spawned. “Hey Klien, now is your chance to attack” Kirito whispered. “Rock Rain!” He yelled. “3 Exp. Gained” the holographic chart read.

“Congrats, Klien” Kirito said. “Thanks, but I owe it all to you. After all, you’re the one who taught me how to attack.” He said. “ Oh yeah. I ordered a pizza to be at my place at 4:30. I got to go now. Bye” “Bye” Kirito replied. “Huh where is the holographic logout button? It’s as empty as space” Klien commented. “You’re right. It must be a glitch” Kirito said. Right after he spoke they were teleported to the main village. All of the ten-‐thousand players who bought the game were there along with a dark, suspicious character hovering above them. “Hello. I am Kiriza Destiny, the maker of this game. As you may have already noticed, the logout button is missing. This is NOT a glitch. If any one of you beats the 100th floor in my game, you will unlock the logout button for everyone. Also, if you die in this game you die in real life. Furthermore, you will be turned into what you look like in real life.” Once everybody had been turned into what they look like in real life Destiny left. “What are we gonna do?” terrified screams in the crowd yelled. Just then Kirito took Klien and dragged him to a dark corner. “Listen I’m going to the next town, wanna come with me?” Kirito asked Klien. “Sorry but I have to get my friends. They are probably stuck in that terrified crowd so I guess it is bye for now, you can go without me” Klien said. “Okay, bye for now, Klien” Kirito said while running off to hide his disapointment. Chapter 2 Moving Up And Along A month had passed since the game came out when a conference was held at the main plaza. Kirito attended along with about 100 other people at the main plaza. Then the main speaker stepped up. “Hello” he said. “My name is Shray. As you may have already heard, a party of gamers found the first floor boss room. Our goal is to clear it. First off, we need to divide into groups. Each group consists of 2 people. Now, pair up!” “Hey lets pair up. We’re both pretty strong” someone said.

“Okay” someone else said. Just then. Kirito saw a girl about his age wearing a hood and figured that she didn’t know anyone else in the conference because she didn’t pair up. “Hello, do you want to pair up” Kirito said to the girl after walking up to her. “Huh?” she asked. “For the boss room. It’s practicly impossible to beat on your own. So how about it?” Kirito asked. “Sure, I guess” the girl replied. They both used the holographic menu, clicked options, and clicked join party. Once that was done Kirito could read her name. Asuna, hmm I wonder how skilled she is Kirito thought to himself. “The attack is at noon tomorrow in the unpleasant forest. Don’t be late.” Shray said after everyone paired up. Then he walked away. The next day, at noon, the group traveled to the unpleasant forest. As of arriving at the boss room the doors opened. Once they walked in, the doors closed. Flaming Wind, the boss then flew down from its perch. “Attack!!!” Shray yelled. While the pairs were attacking, Flaming Wind used his tail and hit the pairs with a direct hit. “Ahh-‐TeDaa!” The damaged pairs gasped before dying. “Ugh, not good” Shray muttered. Then Kirito and Asuna stepped out. “Asuna, attack the boss’s tail. I’ll get his head” Kirito yelled. “Water Rain!” Asuna yelled after getting her wand out. “Sword Fury” Kirito yelled while swinging his staff. “Hiyah!” He yelled while landing a direct hit on the boss. “Ni-‐Rawwwr” The boss gasped before dying. ‘Congratulations! Exp. Gained: 5,890, item gained: Midnight Cloak’ The holographic screen read. And the floors went just like that including special skills being unlocked. But when Destiny saw his game being beaten, he left a surprise at the 50th floor. Chapter 3 The Holiday Spirit th On December 24 , 2024, Kirito and Asuna were mapping out the boss room on the 50th floor for the big fight. “Finally, the end I’m exausted” Kirito said after finishing mapping the floor. “You bet, I’m wiped out,” Asuna said. “Want to call it quits for the day?”

“Sure, why not.” Kirito replied. What they didn’t know was that they were about to get ambushed. They were walking out to the wacky grottow when they noticed something strange was going on. “What’s going on, why is no one here” Kirito asked. “No idea” Asuna replied. “Be on guard” “Ninja-‐Slash” Someone yelled while pouncing on them. “Who’s are you?!” Asuna yelled. “Pumpking Christmas Reaper, your holiday nightmare” He said. “Now die!” What do I do now Kirito thought. No, this is not the time to be hesitating. “Asuna give me ten or so seconds” Kirito shouted. “Okay” She replied. “Hidden Power-‐Freeze Burn!” While Asuna held Dark Reaper up, Kirito went through his skills and activated his hidden power. “Hidden Power-‐Ultimate Strike!” Kirito yelled. Using his skill he absorbed all his power and put it into one strike. “Super Smash” He yelled and giant jack-‐o-‐lanterns and Christmas trees started falling on the reaper. “Ack-‐Ka” He gasped revealing his true identity.“I guess you beat the game by defeating me, Kirito because I am Kiriza Destiny this games maker. You’ve unlocked the logout button, congratulations” He said before dying. “Hey Kirito, why did jack-‐o-‐lanterns and Christmas trees kill him” Asuna asked. “I guess I was in a holiday mood today, on Christmas Eve.” He said. Ch. 1 Happy Birthday Happy birthday to you… happy birthday dear Danny… happy birthday to yuoooo. It was Danny’s birthday and they ( Lawrence, Cade, Jordan, and Jaren) were celebrating not only because it was Danny’s birthday but also because they were safe from the Zombies after they had escaped from Tankium 3 by using the floating city’s nuclear battery to blow up the city and also to power the emergency EVAC. Submarine they used to get to Hikawa the ninth Hawaiian island where they are now celebrating their squad leader’s birthday and that their extremely brilliant and extremely crazy plan had worked.

Ch. 2 Heaven “ Alright guys lets eat some melted down M&M cookies courtesy of Jordan and soda thanks to Lawrence!” Danny exclaimed “ O.K who wants Root beer!” Lawrence shouted while grinning. “ Man Jordan when we save the world you should make this a real candy you’ll make billions!” Cade slurred while stuffing his mouth. “ Ya when we save the world.” Jaren sniffled and everyone went quiet. “It’s alright guys well find a cure and we already have the Hikawa moisturizer to spread it.” Danny encouraged “ I hope your right dude ‘cause I haven’t tried the Baconater sausage hamburger helper taco mark 2 yet.” Jaren pouted. “ O.K guys time for presents.” “ Good idea Lawrence it’s time for Danny to get his presents “ Cade demanded “and we all know mine’s the best.” “Dream on Cade. “ Jordan retorted. “ O.K Lawrence give out the presents.”

“ All right birthday boy we broke into the L.E.P HQ and found some pretty tight stuff but no super suits just uniforms like ours but we got some nice fire power. Ch. 3 Surprise! “ Whoa what was that!” Danny sprang up and deployed his saber ready to smack whatever came across the face. “ Hey! Where’s Cade?” everyone looked around but Cade had disappeared. Suddenly Cade’s voice came from the dark out side “ I meant to show tomorrow you in the morning… but when I was on recon today I found a pet…” Cade rode in triumphantly and gracefully on a giant mammoth dog ( one of the new species created in the discovery of 2930 ) in full L.E.P dog combat armor. Everyone said “ Whoa!” in unison “ I call him Tiny!” Cade declared “ and he’s trained!” “Awesome I call dibs on riding him first tomorrow!” Jaren shouted. “ O.K Cade your gonna have to take care of him so go find a place for him to sleep out of farting range from the rest of us.” Danny ordered.

“ You smelled it too.” Cade laughed smiling from ear to ear. “ We all did.” Danny answered grinning. So Cade found a place for Tiny and then they all cleaned up and watched a movie on the Hikawa control centers 3D hologram entertainment system and went to bed.

Ch. 4 H-‐E double hockey sticks “ Arruuff ruff ruff “ “ Uuggh… be quiet tiny… Hey! what the heck is that smell?” Danny looked at Tiny as he stood on the balcony barking at the ocean “ Hey be quiet Tiny the others are still sleeping.” Danny whispered as he shut the glass door, he looked at the ocean “ What in the world…” their was a humongous patch of bubbles speeding towards the shore. Danny opened the sliding door and said “ Whoa guys wake up you gotta see this.” Then the patch of bubbles hit the shore and a roaring wave of zombies exploded out of the ocean and raced towards the city below him. “ ZOMBIES!! WAKE UP WE GOTTA GO KNOW!!” “ go to sleep dude.” Jordan moaned. Danny grabbed his X38 assault rifle and fired a couple rounds “ I SAID GET UP!” “ Okay, okay were up!” Cade answered “ Alright, Cade go put Tiny’s armor on and start loading him up with the food and ammo, Jaren go get and load the guns and Lawrence go power on the super suits.” “ you found them?” “Yes, their in the lab capsules now clear out!” “ Yes sir!” they all replied. “ Jordan you come with me and help me get the sleeping bags and other essential things only take whats necessary.” “ Okay but what about the geothermal powered Xbox 101?” “ That is necessary for survival now clear out!” “ I’ll take of the moisturizer.”

“ Affirmative sir.” Most of the zombies were half-‐way through the city but some were already starting to climb the steep hillside. < 10 minutes later > “ Alright everybody cock your weapons and run for your life!” Danny shouted as he opened the wooden double door. Cade was the first one out riding Tiny like a horse ( who was extremely fast, especially with all the food and ammo weighing him down ) followed by Lawrence then Jordan and Jaren and finally Danny. They all looked back to see the horde of zombies rush over the ledge of the hillside to continue the pursuit. “ O.K guys here’s the plan” Danny calmly stated speaking through the super suit communicators “ were gonna rendezvous at the cave we spotted on the volcano when we got here on Monday, Jaren since you’re the DEMO I need you to ride ahead on Tiny and set some shaped charges under the rock ledge to create a cliff. I want a remote detonater so we can take out as much zombies as possible with the explosion and that should by us enough time to get in the volcano and find a place to camp out. < Jaren > “ Yesss!!” Jaren thought “ I guess the power of dibs does exist but for know lets see Tiny really RUN!” “ Affirmative sir.” Cade gracefully dismounted while Jaren jumped on from behind grabbed the handles on Tiny’s armor and sped ahead at about 60 mph. screaming “ Yeehaww!” Jaren reached the rendezvous point in just under 20 minutes and immediately set to work. He took out his softnose laser and began drilling the hole for the charges. He then placed the bombs and secured them with explosive putty. While the putty dried Jaren connected the detonators. “All right Jaren we’re approximately a mile away, I want you to place a jumper. The zombies are hot on our trail and make sure Tiny is safe… stand by for further orders.” Danny ordered. “Affirmative Sir, see you in 10 minutes. Ok Tiny check point sit.” Jaren launched a smoke pellet out of his super suit to the top of the ledge and green smoke appeared. Tiny immediately climbed up the ledge. “Ok, time to set up a jumper.” Jaren thought to himself. < Danny >

“Oh man I’m so glad I found the super suits or we would be so dead!” “Come on pick it up guys, we need a decent lead on the zombies to detonate the charges!” < 5 minutes later > “Ok Jaren is the jumper ready?” “Affirmative, Sir.” “Good. I want you at the top of the ledge ready to detonate when I say with out a moment’s hesitation… we have a forty foot lead on the zombies. They are too fast and they’re gaining a foot per minute; thanks to the radiation from the explosion on Tankium 3, they’re stupid super zombies.” “Ok, Capitan I’m at the top” “Good… Now do you remember the cures molecular code?” “Yes, I memorized it from the start… Why?” “My sooped up helmet sever was able to receive a very, very faint signal from the L.E.P. data base so I told it to do a search just for the heck of it and it found the molecular code for something that matched the cure exactly somewhere on this island; but I couldn’t find out what it was the database was too damaged.” “Ok, I punched in the code. Now, what?” “I want you to email it to all of our servers so we can use the scanning app to scan for the cure while we run.” “Brilliant! Sending code now.” “Ok, I got it and so did the guys.” “Man Danny! How do you come up with these ideas?” “It’s just my talent! Now get ready we are about 100 feet away!” “Ready, Sir. I see you coming.” “90 feet… 70 feet… 50 feet… 30 feet… put on a burst of speed guys RUN!” Danny turned around and started taking out zombies with his X38 but still moving forward. Lawrence and Cade were the first people up and then Jordan. Danny and Jaren put on a burst of speed, jumped on the jumper, spun around in mid air and started firing at the zombies while soaring up to the top of the ledge like two psychopath Supermans, one with an X38 and the other with an X37 equipped with a plasma grenade launcher. “Now!!” BOOOMM!! “Whoa! Did you see that massive explosion?” “I know! It took out like a quarter of the zombies!” “Who’s the man?” Jaren grinned. “Jaren is the man!” They all shouted.

“All right guys, we get one hour of sleep, I’ll go set up a sensor. Sweet dreams!” < Lawrence (one hour later) > “Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakky.” Danny shouted. “No way that was an hour!” “Hate to wake you guys up but we gotta move. Grab your breakfast and follow me.” Danny was leading us up the mountain and it was a good thing too because the zombies were climbing on top of each other making a pyramid and were already three quarters of the way up. “Ok, get ready for a nice refreshing half hour jog.” Danny said. “Uuggh!” Everyone moaned, especially Jordan, who looked dead. < 30 minutes later > “Finally! Man, my legs are going to fall off!” Jordan whined. “Mine already did!” Cade replied. “That’s nothing. I have a blister the size of a football thanks to the bomb bag that’s been rubbing since the zombies arrived.” Jaren answered in a painful voice. “Wait. Shh… I think my helmets picking up something.” Danny whispered. “I’m picking it up too!” “Follow me.” Danny replied. Beep… Beep… Beep… Beep… Beeeeeeeep. I found it! It’s this berry tree. I can’t believe it! We can save the world!” “I have a question. How in the world are we going to spread the cure? It will take forever to turn it into a juice for the moisturizer.” “He is right!” Jaren exclaimed, looking heart broken. “Hmm… Let me think… I’ve got it! Cade hand me that rock.” Danny ordered “Sure, here you go.” Cade replied. Danny grabbed the rock and threw it down into the crater. After about 5 seconds a spurt of lava came out of the hole the rock made. “Perfect!” Danny shouted. “Cade and Jaren you have a new mission. You are to go to the Kunaka River. Find where it stops at the volcano and then set charges to blow a hole leading to the lava pool that Lawrence, Jordan and I make using the explosives you think would work best.” < Inside the volcano > “Time to split up, see you in a couple hours.” “Bye.” “Bye.” “Bye.”

< Cade and Jaren > “Follow me Jaren. Since you have the heavy stuff I will find the safest way there.” Whoosh was the sound of the waterfall that led into the lagoon that created the Kunaka River. “Here Cade. I want you to place these charges in between the edge of the cliff and the edge of the lagoon.” < 5 minutes later > “There. Perfect! Let me call Danny.” <Danny, Jordan and Lawrence > “Follow me guys. I know the way.” The trio walked slowly on the edges of cliffs and through tunnels for ten minutes before they stopped at a platform above the patch of rock covering the magma. “Lawrence, pass me the grappling cable.” Danny ordered while shooting an anchor from his super suit. “Here you go… by the way what’s the plan?” Lawrence asked. “We are going to grapple down and set the charges while Jordan stays up here and makes sure the anchor is secure and that the detonators are connected.” “Ok, then. What are we waiting for?” Jordan asked. “Nothing.” Danny answered while grabbing the cable and grappling down. < 5 minutes later > “Hey Jordan, turn on the lift.” Danny shouted. “Ok.” Jordan replied. “Hey I’m getting a call from Jaren. What is your status, Jaren?” “We’re ready! What about you?” Jaren asked. “Just finished. Meet you at the top of the volcano for the next phase of the plan.” < Top of the volcano > “Ok guys ready? Grappling hooks ready?” Danny asked. “Ready!” Jaren replied. “How’s our bait?” Danny questioned. “Coming in hot about 40 feet away.” Cade answered. Cade suddenly came into view ridding Tiny up the volcano with a giant mass of zombies behind him. “3… 2… 1… JUMP!!”

They all jumped into the mouth of the volcano but used the grappling cables to swing onto a ledge under the crater. “Detonate them now!” Booom!! The trees full of the cure berries fell down to the soon to be pool of lava along with all the zombies. Booom! The water rushed out of the lagoon and cascaded down to the swirling pool of magma. Fwoosh! A huge column of berry juice steamed shot out of the volcano instantly curing all the zombies it touched.

The Mission

I knew this was going to be a boring day, going with my mom shopping. Also to the post office she has to mail some stuff. I hate days like this. All we do is walk. “Can I go to my friends house instead of buying stuff?” I said nicely. “Sure, but I wont buy you anything”, said his mom sarcastically. “See you in a while mom”. I replied I jumped on my silver and red bike and raced to Tanners house, even though it was only about a minute away. I got off my bike and ringed the doorbell. Ding-‐dong. “Who is it? “Its me Jordan” Tanner opened the door and let me in. As soon as I got in I said “You thinking what I’m thinking?” “Yup!” We walked to Tanner’s room and turned on his X box. We were playing video games for about two and a half hours, and then our eyes were starting to burn as if we rubbed onions on them. I loudly and obnoxiously laughed at tanner because his eyes were all red and watery. “ Be quiet your eyes are red too” Chapter two

Ding-‐dong. My mom was at the door. I secretly opened a window and did a front flip out of it. After that I waited outside with my bike for my mom to take me home. When I got home I ate, I had a burrito and some vegetable soup. “Jordan I’ve got mail for you” said his mom “Okay give me a minute,” I replied. I left my room, walked downstairs to grab the letter and went up to my room to read it. The letter said to: Jordan From: ? Dear Jordan and tanner, This letter is for you and Tanners eyes only. I’ve sent some spy’s to spy on you two. We’ve been watching your skills, reflexes and other things. I want you to come train with us at camp Collins. From, The awesome military lute dent Jaren “I need to show this to tanner quick”. I sprinted to the door and ran to Tanners house. I got really exited and about five seconds I kept on constantly ringing the doorbell. Chapter 3 “Hey,” Tanner exclaimed. “Dude read this letter.” As Tanner read the letter I waited.

“This is awesome”! He shouted “We aren’t allowed to tell anyone”. I exclaimed in a quiet voice. “Okay” “What should we tell our parents”? “Tell them that we are going to summer camp”. “We have to leave in a month” “Sweet” Chapter 4

One Month Later Chapter 4

“ This is the big day”, I said excitedly “Heck ya, it is” After a couple hours of driving we were at the training camp in the woods. It didn’t look like the funniest place but it was pretty cool that we were at a top secret training camp. A man with shades, camouflage pants, and a tank top greeted us at the entrance.

“You two must be Jordan and Tanner,” the man said with a deep voice. “Yup that’s us,” we said. As we entered the camp my mom shouted out the car window “see you two in a month”. “Bye mom” I replied The man with the shades told us to start putting our bags in the cabins and get settled in. For three weeks all we did was wake up, eat, get dressed, stretch, do the long obstacle course, lift heavy weights while running from one place to another, do target practice with bb guns, take a lunch break for an hour, run five miles, do gym related things. The last thing we do is called the house of death. Then house of death is a house that has various different kinds of traps, like trip wires that trigger explosions that can blind you, and things like disabling bombs. After the third week we meet the military lute dent Jaren, who came in, in a helicopter. “ Hi I’m Jaren the person who sent you guys the letter, nice to meet you” “ Nice to meet you too” I replied to him like he was the president of the United States. “ I’m sending you guys on a mission”, “lets go to my office to talk about it”. As we entered his office we sat down in these big comfortable massage chairs. After a whole half an hour discussion he told us that we leave in a helicopter tomorrow morning. Before we left the office Jaren said “ a man named Mr. Smithers is waiting for you outside my office”. “Hello my name is Mr. Smithers, I'm the gadget guy. On the mission you will need these things that I made. A secret transmitter that

looks like a cell phone, a CD player that is actually a sharp blade that has diamond chips in it so it can cut through almost anything, and a my personal favorite electric gum it actually works really good. What it pretty much is, is gum that you chew for about five seconds and spit it at someone, then it electrocutes them, good luck boys”. He handed us each a cell phone, a CD player, and he both gave us a pack of electric gum. “ Now remember these are not toys”. We walked to our cabins and went to sleep. In the morning we woke up and got dressed quickly. We went outside where the helicopter was waiting for us. The pilot counted down “ 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1” and up we were high in the sky. In 45 minutes we were at cade, and Lawrence’s evil layer in the mountains. I took all my gear from the helicopter and parachuted out of it. The plan was to take down Cade and Lawrence and all of the evil minions that they are duplicating. We entered the layer and there were 50 minions guarding the door that the duplicator machine was. I took out the electric gum and chewed about ten of them and spit it at all of the little minions. Once all of the minions passed out we disabled the security cameras so that they couldn’t see us. We entered the room with the duplicating machine and got out the CD player so we can break the machine into pieces. We left that room and went to look for Cade and Lawrence. A couple minutes later we entered the room that Cade and Lawrence had been in. There had been over 75 minions guarding them. Tanner had been saving his electric pack of gum so he chewed 20 at a time and spit them rapidly. In about a minute all of the minions had been taken out. Cade and Lawrence both said at the same time “ so you have defeated all of our minions now die”.

They both shoot lightning out of their little guns that they had hidden in their pocket and we dodged every shot after that we went up to them while dodging the lightning then we both kicked them and used the secret transmitter to get the guys to take them away. “All that training paid off” I exclaimed in the happiest voice I ever have had. “Yes it did” Tanner said.

Chapter 1 WHOOSH! Rosie got back home in her self-transport portal. Chirp Chirp, she heard overhead. As she looked up, a bird landed on her arm. “Hello there,” Rosie sang. She put an animal translator on the bird’s breast and it whistled “Hulloo!” The bird flew off into the oak trees. Rosie looked at her 10 story hovering mansion and walked in, embracing the warm sight of home. She skipped into the kitchen and grinned. “Hello Doris, what’s for dinner?” Rosie asked. Doris happened to be a human sized robot that Rosie created. “Salmon with broccoli.” “Uggghhhhh!” Rosie whined. Just because she is a genius doesn’t mean she uses fancy words and is always polite. Rosie then waltzed into the living room and saw her father working. “Hey Dad.” “I think it’s in the fridge,” her father mumbled. Leonardo, her father, was often like this. “So…my pants are on fire,” Rosie said. She liked to test her father to see if he was actually listening. “Ask Doris.” Nope, not listening. Well, she thought. Same same. Suddenly Rosie gagged. “Ugh broccoli, I smell it.” “Broccoli?” her dad asked. “Oh NOW you listen,” Rosie teased. “Well let’s go force it down,” Leonardo wailed dramatically. “Yay, salmon and broccoli!” Rosie’s dog, Zip, squealed. “You don’t like, it goes under the table, to meeeeeeee!” “Zip, shhhh!” whispered Rosie. “We don’t want Doris to know!” “Excuse me?” a robotic voice said. “Uh oh,” groaned Rosie and her dad. “I thought you LOVED my meals!” “We do, just not your salmon and broccoli,” explained Rosie. Robotically sighing, Doris zoomed away, disappointed and angry. “Hey Dad, do you want to…” CRASH!!! The glass door to the backyard shattered into a million pieces, flying all over the kitchen.

“Watch out for the glass! Duck!” Leonardo yelled. Once the glass stopped moving, Rosie and her father carefully made their way toward the broken glass door. “How did this happen?” Rosie questioned. “I designed it; nothing could have broken it but…” “A robot!” her father finished. They looked outside and saw a human-sized robot speeding towards a man in black. “I’ve been working on some new and upgraded rocket boots; care to see if they work?” asked Rosie. “You know the answer to that, GO!” Leonardo urged. By the time they were equipped with the rocket boots, Doris was a metal dot in the background, almost to the man in black. “CHARGE!” Rosie joked. The rocket boots were much faster than Doris, but by the time they reached the man in black, it was too late. The man was holding a magnet so powerful that Doris’s metal body flew towards it. The man was also reprogramming Doris, and he was so absorbed in that, he didn’t even notice a shadow pass over his head. Chapter 2 The man in black felt a slight breeze on his neck and instinctively glanced up at the trees around him, realizing there was no wind. Cautiously, he looked back down at Doris waiting for someone to attack. Rosie and Leonardo flew silently over to a tree and hid in its branches. “What are we going to do?” asked Rosie. “Wait,” answered Leonardo. “We just wait. I’m curious to see how Doris will be like after he’s reprogrammed her.” “Maybe he’s NOT reprogramming her in a bad way,” Rosie said hopefully. Just then, Doris straightened up and had a red glow in her eyes. “Well that’s not normal,” Rosie whispered. Doris then said, “Hello Master …” “Yay she recognizes us!” Rosie sang quietly. “How may I assist you in your domination of Earth?” “Oh,” Rosie whispered disappointedly. “You can assist me by capturing the one person I need, the genius behind you robots, the key information I need to dominate Earth lies with your special Rosetta White!” the man screeched.

Chapter 3 Rosie and Leonardo were whizzing toward home, waiting to put it in lockdown mode. Before they did that, they had to call Eleanor, Rosie’s mother. “Hey Mom, I need you to come home, quick!” Rosie screamed into the phone. “Why? I’m in the middle of an important meeting, it can’t be disturbed. They’re mad at me right now for taking this call.” “There is an evil psycho out there right now that reprogrammed Doris to capture or kill people, and is looking for me!” Rosie yelled. “Oh. COMING NOW!!!” Eleanor replied. Seconds later Eleanor was in the house, which was in lockdown mode. They could see the man in black riding on Doris’s back. But this time he wasn’t in black. He was posing as an interviewer. What’s he doing? Rosie wondered. The man walked up to her next door neighbor and said, “Hello! Do you know where Rosetta White lives? You’ve seen her before, she has curly brown hair, green eyes, really smart, nice? I’m interviewing her.” Rosie’s neighbor pointed to where she lived, and the mysterious man ran up to Rosie’s house. He was about to kick open the door, but when he did, Rosie’s homemade force field powered with many volts of electricity knocked him off his feet onto the concrete. Furious, he yelled, “DORIS!” “Yes Master?” asked Doris. “You know how to disable the force field. MELT IT DOWN WITH YOUR LASER EYES!!!” the man screamed. Everyone in the house fell silent, sadly watching the force field melt, until they heard the door open with a click. Chapter 4 Rosie was sitting in the trunk of a metal truck; the truck was actually Doris transformed into a truck. Since when can Doris turn into a truck? thought Rosie. Suddenly the truck came to a stop, making Rosie roll around. The man opened up the trunk and roughly grabbed Rosie and

threw her into a cage for dogs. “SERIOUSLY, YOU HAD TO THROW ME IN A DOG CAGE?” Rosie yelled angrily. “Be quiet,” the man said calmly. Grumbling, Rosie was carried into an abandoned house. “You better stay here, or bad things will come your way missy,” the man threatened “As if I can get away,” Rosie growled. “You really can’t can you?” he laughed. “Which evil villain are you anyways?” Rosie asked. “Not any of your business!” he snarled. On that happy note, the man stormed away, locking the door behind him. Lucky for Rosie, she always had something to fiddle with in her pocket. Feeling around, she found a jet pack that could expand when needed. Right now it was the size of a penny. “Could have been useful if I wasn’t in a locked cage in a locked room!” she angrily whispered to herself. Rosie randomly pulled a paperclip out of her pocket and eyed the lock. Carefully, she picked the lock on the cage, next the door, and was free. Chapter 5 Rosie tiptoed past rooms in the abandoned house, and suddenly came to a halt, hearing voices in the room beside her. “Why do we need Rosetta White?” Doris asked. “We need her because she has knowledge about building robots! Do I have to explain the plan again?” the man asked, annoyed. Doris nodded. “Ugh! Okay, first, I take a magnet to get you and turn you evil, which I did. Second, we capture Rosetta White to get information out of her about how to build robots. Third, we GET the information out of her by threatening to kill or seriously injure her parents. Fourth, we build robots to follow me, and fifth, we take over the entire world!” he explained. Rosie gasped and covered her mouth. By the time the man was at the door to see who was there, Rosie had already activated her jet pack and zoomed out the window. “I’M FREEEEEE!” Rosie yelled. “Celebrate now, Rosetta White. I may not get information out of you, but I will torment your precious family. In the end I will find what I need and take over the world!” the man screeched.

Chapter 6 As soon as Rosie got home, she lovingly but quickly hugged her parents and dog, then dashed to her computer. She went on Google and searched famous villains. Rosie then selected images and saw the villain she was dealing with. She clicked the picture and saw a caption below it: The Dark Shadow is the most wanted villain on Earth and is most famous for stealing $50 million dollars from a safe, guarded with 18 locks. This safe was locked inside 18 safes, guarded by 100 of America’s best soldiers. Only known weakness is a 7-‐year old girl named Makayla White. She uses a hypnotic trance, getting him to do whatever she wishes, also known as puppy eyes. Makayla made him dance the Cha-‐ Cha. See also: Makayla White, Rosetta White, White family, robots. Before you could say “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” (which takes only a little amount of time to say), Rosie had dialed Makayla’s number. “I’m so glad my cousin is such a cutie!” Rosie thought. “Hello?” Makayla asked. “Makayla! I’m so glad you’re here, I need you right now!” Rosie exclaimed. “Why?” replied Makayla. “Ughh! Why do people keep asking that?” Rosie whined. Rosie explained her dilemma and her plan. “So, do you want to review the plan again?” Rosie asked. Makayla nodded. “Take notes,” Rosie ordered. Makayla got out a pencil and pad while licking a lollipop. “Really? A lollipop? At this time? I’d never imagine that you could be this calm,” Rosie remarked.

“It’s a gift. YOU should try being more calm. Licking a lollipop helps me focus,” Makayla said. “Okay. Anyways, step 1. We find the Dark Shadow and he’ll capture me. Step 2, I’ll feed him fake information on how to build robots that only do good. That’s the easy part. They’re evil for 13 minutes, then they’re good. He’ll have an army of robots, then they won’t work. Step 3, he’ll press me for information on how to build a correct robot, and I’ll tell him how to build a transport portal, connecting to you on the other side. Like stealing candy from a baby. Step 4, you step through the portal, and end up where he is. Step 5, you give him puppy eyes and tell him to go to the police. You got that?” Rosie asked. “Yep. Let’s put this plan into action!” cheered Makayla. Chapter 8 As Rosie looked for the Dark Shadow, she felt a chill run down her back and she knew it was him. Waiting for the Dark Shadow to come, she tried to look afraid. “Gotcha!” said the Dark Shadow as he grabbed Rosie. Rosie again was in a metal truck, put into a dog cage, but this time they took her out of the cage and interrogated her. “TELL ME HOW TO MAKE A ROBOT, NOW!!!” the Dark Shadow demanded. “Okay, okay, just don’t yell,” Rosie pleaded. “I’ll write down the instructions,” Rosie promised. “I want them evil,” he ordered. “Okay,” lied Rosie. Soon enough, the villain had an army of robots. But 30 minutes later they were still evil, and he was flying toward the White house to take it. “Oh no,” thought Rosie. “I’ll need some back up.” Suddenly, she remembered that her friend Jaren Taylor specialized in explosives. She dialed Jaren’s number and said, “Hey Jaren, I need some help.” Chapter 9 Jaren came over as soon as possible and got her out of the dog cage. Rosie called Makayla and told her there was a small

change of plans. Jaren and Rosie were going to transport themselves to the White house. Jaren was going to explode all the robots, not including Doris, leaving the villain alone. Makayla would transport herself to the villain and work her magic. Jaren stocked up on grenade launchers, rocket launchers, and plasma grenades. He transported himself to the White house and said to the robots, “GET A TASTE OF McDONALD’S!” Jaren then maniacally and happily shot burger shaped grenades at the robots while they screamed in fear. Blinking, a very startled Dark Shadow looked around wondering where his robot army went. Slowly, his eyes filled with hatred and terror fell upon Jaren. “You little piece of destruction!” the Dark Shadow yelled. “Awwww, thank you, I try,” replied Jaren. “Why are you looking at me like that? You want a piece of me? Huh?” The Dark Shadow thought about a battle between him and Jaren, and then a damp, dark spot wet his pants. The villain fled away, but before he could, Makayla materialized out of air, looking cute as ever. Suddenly, his eyes glazed over as he did the ChaCha all the way to the police station. “Yay! Perfect! We just need one more thing…” Rosie thought. Chapter 10 As they crept toward the abandoned house where Rosie was held captive, Doris flew toward them, her robotic eyes red as coals. Out of nowhere, Rosie tackled Doris and reprogrammed her. “Now let’s go home,” Rosie sighed. Safe and sound at home, Rosie lay in her bed, just thinking. “I feel more confident, calm,” Rosie thought. “Now, instead of worrying, being hesitant, I feel like I could do anything. I feel FREE.”

One day there was a guy name Dezrynd that was playing Madden 25. Dezrynd was on a football team, but wasn’t very good at it. So one day Dezrynd was walking home from school and saw some cleats. Dezrynd snatch the cleats and sprinted home to try them on. It was a perfect fit. At 5:30 practice starts and at 6:00 Dezrynd came on. “Time to go, coming,” responded Dezrynd. Dezrynd was at practice “bye mom, bye dad.” “have a great practice we love you.” Dezrynd felt good to go with these cleats.

Dezrynd run to the field and saw the coach and the coach said, "go do your warm up lap." When Dezrynd dashed his warm up lap he felt faster then ever. Dezrynd was the first one to finish the coaches were shock with Dezrynd. The coach asked him, “Did you cheat.” Dezrynd responded, “no.” “Yeah you did, go do another warm up lap.” Dezrynd did another warm up lap and did his drills. Now they are doing catching drills. Dezrynd doesn’t like catching drills because every time he drops the ball people make fun of him. Dezrynd was up next. “Down” he said, “hike.” Dezrynd did a slant. “Wow did you see that catch, that was amazing.”

Vacation after Work

Winston is having a tough day on the FIX50 project. He had to work 36 hours continuously because one of his colleagues was sick. He came home tired. His wife Alex made a cup of Herbal Tea and that relaxed him. His kids Aimee and Darrell hadn't seen him for a couple of days. They wanted to know what the project was about. As they have been seeing and hearing it on the news. They were so proud about their dad's job, so they told their friends at school about his work. Winston is getting exhausted from all that work. But he wanted the FIX50 project to be completed in time. Alex is thinking of having a good family vacation. This would happen only after Winston is done with the project and the kids have Summer Break. She is researching on flying to Dubai to see its architectural wonders like Palm Island and the Burj Khalifa. She was hearing about Aimee and Darrell getting excited . They want their Grand Parents to come to this vacation. Darrell and Aimee called their Grand Parents and spoke about going on vacation. They were all excited to join the fun but., Winston reminded them of school. Aimee and Darrell had a month left of school. They are done with their Common Core on Math, Language Arts , and Reading. They are working on STAR testing this week on Science. They both are in 5 Grade. Aimee also on the other hand is rehearsing for the School Talent Show. This is a tremendous event in the school . Winston the father hasn't been home and it's 11:00 PM. He called Alex his wife saying “I can't come because my colleagues have been injured at work and he had to take care of their work too. Winston's project has been taking tons of stress. Alex got worried and asked , "What happened, are they OK?" Winston tell her they were at the emergency, said he will tell her all about it when he got home. He got home next day in the evening. At dinner with his family he told what had happened to his colleagues John & Jacob. There's a lot of traffic as everyone on the road are going to schools and offices. Then there were truckers transporting goods from one city to another. John & Jacob were carrying lumber at the work site. The narrow lanes made one of the trucks passing by hit John and Jacob. Since the truck was huge both were hurt badly. John had an injury to his arm and Jacob fell to the ground and hit his head. Winston was shocked and couldn't believe what was in front of his eyes. He rushed toward the injured and tried to help them and waited till the ambulance arrived to take them to the hospital. He also informed their families and asked them to go to the hospital. The next day Winston visited John and Jacob in the hospital. Their families were very glad that Winston's help in time saved them from great danger. John had a cast and are supposed to have it for two months . Jacob had sticky stuff wrapped around his head. Escape Gone Wrong

Chapter 1 CHECKING IN Slam!! The jail cell door slammed shut. Billy, who was caught lifting at the computer store, was put in jail for 7 months. The guard threw him a notebook, pencil and a blanket. Then the guard said, “Dinner is in an hour.” Billy looked at the cement wall and saw a calendar. He took the pencil the guard gave him and marked an “X” on March 5th. Billy then laid on the bed and fell asleep. Chapter 2 ONE HOUR LATER “Clang, Clang, Clang”! The Guard banged on the cell door and said, “Wake up, its dinner time”. Billy opened his eyes and rolled out of bed. The guard opened the cell door and escorted Billy to the cafeteria. The guard handed Billy a tray and pointed to a line. Billy waited in the line until it was his time, then they served him Chili. He sat at a table with four other criminals. They looked up at him and one asked, “What are you in for?” Billy replied, “Shoplifting.” Another inmate blurted at him, “Let me guess, you got 7 months.” Billy looked at the criminal and said, “Yea, how did you know?” The criminal replied, “I’m in for the same, and I got 7 months.” After the brief questioning, Billy scarfed down his chili in silence and went back to his cell. Chapter 3 New Mate Meanwhile Billy was trying to catch up on his sleep and the cell door opened again. Billy looked up at the door and saw the guard escorting the same criminal from diner. The guard handed him his stuff and sent him in the cell then the criminal said “I never told you my name it’s Johnathan. “

Billy replied “my name is Billy.” 5 minutes later The guard in the hallway yelled “time to go to sleep.” Then the two of them hopped into bed and went to sleep. Chapter 4 A PLAN The guard annoyingly yelled “breakfast time” Then the two cellmates both hopped out of bed and went to the cafeteria and then Billy saw that it was pancakes so he said to Johnathan “it’s pancakes” Then Johnathan said “why would they serve pancakes at jail” Then the two men got in line and they got their pancakes and ate fast because during the night they were planning an escape and after breakfast they would do it. Chapter 5 THE ATTEMPT After breakfast Billy and Johnathan climbed up the air vents and they started their escape. After two minutes Billy noticed that Johnathan was gone so he turned back and what he saw he wasn’t happy. He saw the guard Johnathan turned him in. Chapter 6 NEW CELL The guard took Billy to a new cell where the cell door was a door not bars and there was no air vent there was just the walls and a bed. This is when Billy knew there was no way out.

A young eleven year old boy named Jaidyn wanted to join the talent show, but was nervous because the two bullies Billy and Preston were in the talent show. While he was practicing on the piano in the auditorium, the bullies pushed him off the piano bench and broke the piano. The keyboard, strings and legs were broken. As Jaidyn turned his back he realized that the piano started to repair itself. Then when he looked at the piano it started playing Yankee Doodle all by itself. Startled, he decided to hide the piano behind the curtain so no one could see it. The problem with the show was that Billy and Preston were reall good at rapping since they did it every day at school. “I can never win first place,”Jaidyn thought. When he returned to the piano it spoke and told him, “I can make people sound worse when you hold down the low and high keys.” When he went to the piano and held down the low and high keys, he heard a weird foghorn noise coming from the stage. On closer look, it was the bullies voices as they were rehearsing on stage for the talent show. The both of them were getting frustrated because their voices were very off key. They decided to just practice tomorrow, meanwhile he was practiced on the piano for my performance of Yankee Doodle. After a few minutes of practicing he decided to walk home. When he was half way home, a strange cat with grey fur came out of an alley and came towards him. He began to talk. “Make sure that you win the talent show. So the people who were mean to you can pay. Remember when they threw water balloons at you and your friends? You have to succeed.” After the speech he returned to the alley. Startled, he continued the few more minutes of my stroll home. He went to the door and rang the doorbell. Jaidyn’s Mom greeted him at the door. He said, “Hi Mom and Dad, I’m home from school.” “Jaidyn do you have homework?” said Mom. “No, because we did not have rotations today,” he replied. After they finished talking Jaidyn went to the kitchen to see if there were any leftovers. The only thing left from last night was five slices of pizza in the fridge. He grabbed one slice and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Jaidyn quickly and hungrily grabbed the pizza as if he hadn’t eaten for days. He rushed quickly and quietly to the living room where he sat down on the couch and grabbed the remote to watch Netflix. He watched an animal documentary about animals who have attacked people. The animals on the show were just as brutal as the bullies at times, he thought. After half of it was done, he stopped the show, turned off the tv and went upstairs. “I should stand up to the bullies,” he thought. He heard something in his bedroom. When he opened his eyes it was just the alarm clock. He slid quietly off his bed to turn off the alarm so he wouldn’t wake anyone. After that he went into the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal. He reached for the bowl and cereal box, and grabbed the milk out of the fridge, then headed to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. He plopped down on the couch to wait for

everyone else to finish getting ready. He turned on the TV so that he could catch a few minutes of his favorite show before heading off to school. As the lights dimmed Jaidyn quickly took his place on the stage. “Here we go,” he thought as he took a deep breath. He played really well actually, and decided to not hit the key on the piano to mess up the bullies. But when the bullies hit the stage, and opened their mouths to rap, the bullhorn noise still came out. The crowd started laughing and looked around in a bit of confusion. After a few minutes of this noise and no real words coming out, the noise stopped and they were able to finish their song. It seemed that Jaidyn decided to play fair, but the piano took matters into its own hands. Jaidyn walked into the door and greeted his Mom and Dad. “How did you do?” They asked. “I won!” He said excitedly. His hard work had played off and he played fair. Most importantly he had forgiven his bullies.

Chapter 1 Cade had just woken up in his room it was 6:30AM on a Monday morning. As Cade was waking up, he furiously mumbled, “No, No, No I don’t want to go to school!” Then his dad came in and whispered, “Cade get dressed for school and try not to wake anybody up.” Then Cade groaned, “Ok, ok give a few minutes.” After Cade was done getting dressed, he walked down the hall and sat at the counter. Cade asked his dad, “What am I having for breakfast?” Cade’s dad replied, “Cade you are having a waffle for breakfast.” Cade said, “Yummy sounds great!” Cade’s dad said, “Shhhhhhh, be quiet your mom and your sister are trying to sleep! Go brush your

teeth.” After Cade brushed his teeth, he and his dad got in the car and drove to school.

Chapter 2

When Cade got into his classroom, his teacher Mrs. Crenshaw said, “Class take your seats.” Then everyone got in their seats and started reading. Once it was 8:00AM, the students switched classes and went to Science. In this class, the students always had tons of homework. At the end of science, there were 6 pages of homework due the next day. After science class, the students had Math at 9:15AM. The good thing about math was that usually there was only one page of homework which was great, but today the students had 4 pages of math homework which made Cade feel awful. Then when math was over which at 10:15AM, Cade switched

classes and went to his homeroom. Once he got into the homeroom ,it was snack break for 12 minutes.

Chapter 3

After snack break Mrs. Crenshaw told the class to get out their writing journals and start writing a story until recess which was in 15 minutes. After recess, it was lunch time and Cade decided to talk to one of the older kids in 8th grade about doing some homework for him. Cade asked his neighbor Ella, if he could pay her $15 to do all of his homework. She agreed to do the homework deal.

Chapter 4 That afternoon when Cade got home from school, he told his mom that he needed to go on a walk. He walked over to Ella’s house and dropped off his homework. He told her that he would be back in 45 minutes to pick it up. When he returned, he paid Ella the $15 and told her, “Thank you very much. You are a big help.” He practically ran home because he was so excited that all of his homework was completed.

Chapter 5

The next day, Cade happily turned in his homework to his teachers. In Ms. Lillich’s class, he was one of the only kids that actually handed in the homework. Ms. Liilich

said, “Cade since you did such an excellent job on this homework, I want you to come to the front of the classroom and give the class a summary of how you did the homework so well and tell them what it was about.” Cade became very nervous and sweaty. He slowly got out of his chair and walked to the front of the room. He was looking down at the floor. His face was as red as a tomato. Cade looked up at his classmates and his teacher and he said, “I forgot.” Ms. Lillich looked at him and said, “Do you need to look at your paper?” He replied, “Yes, please.” When she handed him the paper, he said, “Ms. Liilich I am very sorry to tell you this, but I did not do this work. I paid someone to do the work.” Ms. Lillich frowned and said, “Who did you pay?” Cade said, “I will take the punishment, but I don’t want the other person to get in trouble because I convinced her to do the homework.” Ms. Lillich walked over to the phone in the classroom and called the office. Everyone heard her say, “I need Cade removed from my

class for cheating. He just admitted it to everyone that he paid a girl to do his homework.” Then, Cade met with Ms. Wilhelm and his parents were called and he was suspended from school for three days. He tried not to cry in the office, but when his mom got there, he started to weep a little. His mom marched him out to the car. In the car, Cade learned a valuable lesson that it would have been better to take a detention for not doing the homework rather than take a three day suspension from school for having somebody else do his work.

Chapter 1 Merry Finn sat in an airplane with a flight attendant. Merry looked out the window, her eyes were red from crying too much. “What’s wrong honey?” the flight attendant asked. “My parents died“ said Merry looking down.”And don’t call me honey.” The flight attendant ignored that statement and said “I heard that the Aunt that is going to take care of you is really nice.” “NO!” shouted Merry “She is a horrible, child eating witch.” “Well, you’re acting like a flight attendant eating brat.” mumbled the flight attendant. “Whatever.” thought Merry and flicked her wavy-brown hair in the flight attendants face. “You’re a jerk.” verbalized the flight attendant as she rubbing her face to get rid of the pain. “For your information JERK means Junior, Educated, Rich Kid.” Merry told the flight attendant. “Any way we are at Oregon.” the flight attendant exclaimed, while the airplane came to a stop. “Hope you don’t miss New York.” When Merry got down from the airplane she walked slowly to the taxi, to annoy the flight attendant. Finally, Merry got into the taxi, closed the door and smiled happily when she saw the flight attendant stomp away in rage. The taxi started and soon Merry was driving town. Chapter 2 Merry tried to stay in a gloomy attitude for the rest of the car ride. She did not notice the bright lights, the delicious food in restaurants, and the nice cheerful people. ”Madam Mosel are you enjoying zis car ride?”asked the taxi driver in a funny French accent. Merry could not help herself from laughing. “What iz so funny?” questioned the taxi driver. “Your accent!” Merry replied, laughing. “I do not see anything wrong with it.” exclaimed the taxi driver “I do! “ Merry declared, still laughing. “Hmmph” the taxi driver replied.

Soon they arrived at the dark, gray, and gloomy mansion. The Aunt was waiting outside the door. “Come in dear.” the Aunt said softly. ”Come in.” The Aunt quickly scurried into the mansion. Chapter 3 Merry stood outside the mansion. Her heart was beating fast. The doorknob was a bull with horns as sharp as swords. When Merry stepped inside the mansion, it was scarier than ever. In front of her was a long, dark, and creepy hallway. There were some suits of armor lined up against the sides of the hallway. On the left wall, there was another metal bull head sticking out of the wall. On the right wall, there was a picture of an old man with a very angry face. The man looked so angry Merry thought he had just swallowed a very hot chili pepper because his cheeks were so red. What Merry found the creepiest was that every time you moved, the old man’s eyes seemed to follow you. Merry quickly zoomed out of the hallway and into a dull, brown living room. That room had no pictures, no TV, but there were a bunch of rotten flowers as decoration on the table. That table was in front of a cold, brown, leather couch. “Merry your room is upstairs!” yelled the Aunt from the kitchen. “Upstairs!!!! Where?” Merry questioned loudly. “On the very corner of the hallway, upstairs!” the Aunt hollered back. Merry rushed up stairs to the corner of the hallway. She opened the door and screamed. “Merry what’s wrong!” shouted the Aunt from downstairs. Chapter 4 “My room is gray!” replied Merry. “It is supposed to be hot pink!” “Stop acting like you are spoiled!” informed the Aunt. “I’m not!” Merry retorted. Merry took off her shoes angrily and changed into comfortable clothes that the Aunt gave her. “Okay, I need a plan to get out of this horrid place.” Merry said to herself. “First I have to make the Aunt not like me so much that she could send me back to the orphanage and I could get adopted to someone who likes hot pink.” “Merry come downstairs I have made a very delicious surprise for you.” said the Aunt sweetly. Merry ignored her and kept chatting to herself.

“No, my first priority is to know the Aunt’s name.” Merry said thoughtfully. She was quiet for a second and realized that she was the only one talking in the room. She felt a bit awkward and said to herself “Actually my very first thing to do is, stop talking to myself.” “Merry can you please respond?“ asked the Aunt from down stairs. “Respond!!!! For what?” Merry questioned. “I said I have a delicious surprise for you” said Aunt, “what did you make?” Merry asked, suspiciously “If it was a surprise, I wanted not to come down” Merry explained. OK, ok it …is” The Aunt paused for a while to take the surprise out of the oven. The smell of pie filled the mansion. That smell filled Merry’s nose. “Pie!” Merry screamed not realizing she had finished the Aunt’s sentence. Chapter 5 Merry run out of her room and rushed towards the stairs. She stopped before taking the first step. Merry realized this was her chance to get sent back to the orphanage, which was what she had been planning ever since the orphanage sent her to his aunt. Merry’s plan was to annoy the aunt so much by walking slowly down the stairs like she had did with the flight attendant. It had been five minutes and Merry was only on the 9th step. She had 11 more steps to go and decided to take 10 minutes to walk down them. “Merry hurry up!!!” the aunt screamed “Your pie is getting cold!” Merry took another two minutes to get down 4 steps. It took a lot of patience. “I have been waiting for ever, Merry” said aunt annoyed. “I am going to count to three, If you aren’t down by then I will eat your pie for you.” Merry could not help herself any longer she rushed down the stairs swiftly. “1…..,2…….., the aunt counted slowly, knowing merry would be down any second now.“Merry was down the stairs and sitting at the kitchen table in less than 10 seconds. “I knew you would be here soon, Merry.” said the aunt sarcastically.

Merry was annoyed and pretended she did not hear her and gobbled up most of her pie greedily. Then remembered what she had said to herself in her room” “I was wondering ……….. “Merry quickly finished her bite and continued. “What’s your name? “My name is Mrs. Berry”. The Aunt said calmly” Miranda Berry.” Merry gobbled the other three bites of her pie. She looked up from her plate and saw Mrs. Berry staring at her like a zombie at president dinner party. “What?” Merry asked while she chewed her last bite of pie. Mrs. Berry kept staring at her and blinked twice and finally mumbled “young lady you have to be taught some manners”. Chapter 6 Merry sat at the dinner table next morning with a plate of waffles in front of her. She had washed her hands nicely like the Aunt told her to. Mrs. Berry, the Aunt was sitting in front of her with her hands folded neatly on her lap. “Our first lesson is how to prepare ourselves to eat.”Mrs. Berry remarked nicely. “First we take our napkin and place it neatly on our lap. Then you take your knife in right hand and the fork in your left hand. Merry tried to annoy Mrs. Berry and kept her elbows on the table because she knew it was a bad habit. She also did not to follow Mrs. Berry’s directions. Mrs. Berry waited for few seconds for Merry to start the process but, Merry did not. “Merry are you going to do what I told you to do?” Mrs. Berry remarked, annoyed. “No!!” exclaimed Merry stubbornly “Never ever.” “Excuse me!!!” Mrs. Berry sternly and meanly exclaimed. “You shall do as I say.” Merry was a little frightened and did what the Aunt said to do. She decided, annoying the Aunt was such a good idea and followed Mrs.Berry’s directions through the whole lesson. Chapter 7 After a boring lesson of manners and a delicious plate of waffles, Merry went to the living room and decided to do something there. She sat on the old leather couch and shuddered. It is like sitting on a block of ice!!! Merry looked around there wasn’t anything to do at the

moment but at the corner of her eye she saw the suits of armor. She decided to act like a brave explorer wearing a suit of armor and go to a land of well ………nothing. She stood up and walked quietly so she would not make any noise on the tile floors. She slipped into the smallest suit of armor. “For a small suit this is pretty heavy.” Mumbled Merry, but she went a long with it. In that suit, Merry walked like a penguin. But, she had a great time fighting cold, brown dragon (the couch) and a little snake pit (the rotten flowers). Finally, Merry sat down to take rest besides running and jumping in a heavy suit of armor is no cute walk. Then, Merry heard footsteps coming through the hallway that connected the living room and the kitchen. “Oh! No!” Merry whispered. It was Mrs. Berry she was coming this way. If she found out she was using the suits of armor she would kill her! Merry run as quite as she could to the empty spot where the suit of armor was supposed to be. She acted like a suit of armor. “Merry! Merry where are you? hollered Mrs. Berry . “Merry Finn, come out right now! Merry felt a tickle in her nose. She had to sneeze! if she did sneeze Mrs. Berry would know where she was and know what she was doing. ‘I can’t sneeze, I can’t sneeze, I can’t sneeze’. Merry thought to herself. Even though, she forced herself not to sneeze she did. “Achooooo…” Merry sneezed. Mrs. Berry turned and headed Merry’s direction. Merry bite her bottom lip nervously. Mrs. Berry opened the knight’s helmet. Merry quickly remembered the museum she went (with her parents), that museum had waxed dummies. That was sure a dumb idea because right when she did Mrs. Berry said “Merry Finn, can you explain to me why my vase is broken and my couch is scratched “. “Ummmm.” Merry mumbled with rosy red cheeks. “I did.” Mrs. Berry sighed and said “I can repair it but, for punishment you shall sit at the front door until the mail goes through the slot.” Mrs. Berry started to leave then stopped and looked back and said annoyed “And take the suit of armor off, it makes you look like a metal head.” Merry stuck her bottom lip out and took off her suit of armor and waited at the front door. After 16 minutes of waiting and staring Merry saw two pieces of mail come through the slot. “There here!” Merry shouted gladly and cheerfully while picking up the envelopes. “Great! Come into kitchen, Merry!” Mrs. Berry verbalized. Merry walked into the kitchen and sat on the opposite side of the table from where the aunt was. Mrs. Berry read the first envelop and smiled.

“I’m getting my new order for a bookshelf and it’s arriving next week!” Mrs. Berry remarked joyfully. Merry frowned and mumbled “Great.”. Mrs. Berry made a hysterical face at Merry then read the next envelope. “Merry you’re going to a school called South Minister Middle School.” Mrs. Berry verbalized, smiling from ear to ear. “WHAT!” Merry screamed terrified, with her mouth wide open. “I just came here and you expect me to to go to school!” “Correction you’ve been here for over a day.” Chapter 8 Vroom! Vroom! The taxi was driving and Merry was on her way to school. She clutched hey gray backpack nervously as the taxi stopped in front of the creepy school. “Madam Mosel, we have arrived”. Remarked the taxi driver, obviously unpleased by how the school looked.”Hope you are safe”. Merry ignored him and put on her backpack and started off toward the school. As soon as she got inside, the lady of the front hollered “My name is Ms.Bushwick and you are 52 seconds late! Now get into classroom 296!” “Oh! O.K”. Merry exclaimed really frightened. She walked through the empty hallway until she came to a stop in front of classroom 296. Merry lightly knocked on the door when suddenly the door burst open and the teacher popped out of doorway and exclaimed in her high squeal noise “Come in dear , Come in”. “This is going fine. “Merry whispered to herself as the teacher helped Merry to find a desk. Merry thought the teacher was nice and everything will turn out fine. “Time for recess you little wimps!!” hollered Mr. Lippy, the science teacher. Everybody rushed out to the playground which was only a tether ball court, a slide and a pair of swings, but there were some chess games at the corner of the playground. Merry and her new friend, Louisiana whom she had met during Art class, ran toward the patch of grass behind the swings. “Can you come over to my house, Louisiana?” questioned Merry. “Yeah, sure!” remarked Louisiana excitedly. Chapter 09 Merry was sitting on the cold, brown, leather couch again waiting for a knock at the door. She heard footsteps coming down stairs. Merry looked up and saw Mr. Berry dressed nicely. Mrs. Berry was also holding a black suitcase.

“Hello, Merry, I’m sorry, I didn’t have time to explain this in front of Mrs. Berry, I am going on s business trip to California by myself, and so a babysitter will take care of you. And Merry, you absolutely cannot go to the left wing of the mansion. Bye now.” Mrs. Berry shut the front door just after Louisiana, the babysitter and guard rushed in. “Hey, Merry!” hollered Louisiana. “Louisiana has to figure out what my Aunt is up to.” Exclaimed Merry suspiciously, not realizing she had forgotten to respond to Louisiana. “Come upstairs we have some spying to do” “Sure” remarked Louisiana. “But I heard your Aunt talking to you and saw the guard so I think that Mrs. Berry got the guard to guard of the left wing of the mansion!” “Good thinking, Watson.” declared, Merry in a British accent. “Thank you Holmes” lectured Louisiana also in a British accent. The girls quickly rushed upstairs when suddenly a voice called from the kitchen “girls, come down right now you have to wash these dishes! “ It was Merry quickly thought up a lie. The babysitter! “Well, you see,“ Merry blabbered lying “we have a lot of homework and ……..it’s due tomorrow!” “If you have homework you and your friend could finish it at the kitchen table.” The babysitter shouted from down stairs. “Oh, no.” whispered Louisiana. “We are in a lot of trouble”. “Don’t worry, I will fix this problem.” whispered Merry. Then Merry screamed “Well, it’s much more important than cleaning those grubby dishes.” Louisiana gulped and had a worried look on her face. “Fine! Go and clean the rat muck in the attic!” screamed the babysitter like a crazy woman. Merry and Louisiana were scared and quickly raj up toward the attic. When they were in the middle of the stairs that lead to the attic, Louisiana stopped. Merry walked ahead then stopped realizing Louisiana was not beside her. “What now?” Merry asked turning around to look at Louisiana. “You know when the babysitter said to clean up the rat muck.” exclaimed Louisiana. “Yeah, so what?” Merry questioned. “Well, my Grandmother owns a farm in Colorado.” Louisiana replied. “And sometimes she has to clean up the horse muck. Also muck sometimes means poop.”

“You mean we have to clean up rat poop!” Merry exclaimed, screaming. “Yup.” Louisiana remarked, plainly. “What are you girls talking about!” hollered the babysitter from down stairs. “Be quiet and start working!” “Do you have another amazing lie Smart Alec?” asked Louisiana with her hands on her hips. “Just get working.” Merry replied ashamed. “Okay, okay.” Louisiana sighed. And off they went to clean the rat muck. Chapter 10 “Ew! Ew! Eeew!” Merry and Louisiana repeated, with two small bags of rat poop in their hands. They were running as fast as they could toward the bathroom. As soon as they throw the bags of rat poop away , Merry turned on the tap and Louisiana and Merry stuck their hands into the sink. They washed their hands at least 5 times then quickly dashed to Merry’s room. “Okay, now what do we do?” questioned Louisiana as she lay on Merry’s bed. “First you have to distract the guard with Barbie dolls like in the movie Evil vs. Good,” Merry replied pacing back and forth.” Then I will go and find out what Mrs. Berry is hiding.” “Sure.” remarked Louisiana as she got off the bed.”Where are the Barbie dolls?”. There are in the wardrobe.” Merry exclaimed.” Now let’s go. Louisiana grabbed the Barbie dolls and ran over to the left wing of the mansion where the Guard was. Merry quickly got dressed up in a black shirt and a pair of black pants, she ran out the room and ran toward the east wing. Merry could not believe her eyes! In front of her was Guard with Louisiana and the Guard was putting a little pink dress on the Barbie doll! Louisiana winked at Merry. Merry guessed that was a signal for ‘all clear’ and tiptoed past the Guard quickly. The Guard was now busy combing the dolls hair and did not notice Merry slowly walk past him until Merry’s foot hit a loose wood tile. Thump! “Who’s there?” asked the Guard suspiciously in his deep, low voice. “Nobody is there. It was my ….foot….it likes to do that.” Louisiana exclaimed, nervously. The Guard shrugged and continued playing with Barbie dolls.

Merry rubbed the sweat off her forehead and continued until she came to a door that had Mrs. Berry nicely engraved on it. “This has to be Mrs. Berry’s room.” Merry exclaimed as she stepped into the room. Merry turned on the light (which was pretty dim and head toward the dressing table. There was a little box in one of the cupboards and it had the name Cartor Berry engraved on it, Merry opened the box and the first thing she saw was a short letter that read: Dear Miranda, I am in the Vietnam War, some of my friends are hurt and some died. Lets hope I don’t end up in the graveyard and hope that these are not my last words. Love, Cator Berry. Merry saw some wedding photos of Mr. and Mrs. Berry then the very last picture was a picture of Mrs. Berry’s grave! It read: R.I.P Cartor Rake Berry Died of a bullet in his right lung. Chapter 11 Merry felt sorry for Mrs. Berry for the next few weeks until she came back. Mrs. Berry was enraged when Merry told all her findings. Even through Mrs. Berry was mad she ended up apologizing to Merry and Merry apologizing for being so rude. “I’m sorry.” Merry apologized. “I should have been more considerate. And also I love you…..Mom.” Merry and Mrs. Berry gave each other a gigantic hug.

Chapter 1: New school Catherin woke up to possibly the dreariest Monday ever. It was time for school. She jumped out of bed, so excited to go to school. She went to her candy shower half-‐asleep. The mint chocolate water was soothing. Catherin walked to her school, Fairy Tale School for Youngsters. Everybody was greeting her, except the three god-‐sisters. They were the meanest, cruelest bullies in the entire school. Even the trolls were nicer than them! She headed to her first class of the day in Candy Class 30, where they made delicious candy. Catherin sat next to Rhymeizda, the girl of Riddles and Rhymes. They talked at first, chatting about their classes, but then they became Best Friends.

Rhymeizda gave Catherin the nickname Cat. Their next class was with Mr. Paul, possibly the tiniest troll ever! But, also the meanest. The next class on her agenda was Making Chocolate Scary and where evil was involved and you had to get an A+, or you get thrown in the Fire Pits of Fudge. Mr. Paul made the chocolate scare Catherin consumed it. It was poop! After class Mr. Paul wanted to see her. He yelled to Catherin in a Scottish “You’re a daring kid.” “You’re a daring man who wears man skirt.” Mr. Paul replied, “You’re in trouble; go to Mrs. Whip Cream, the Principal of Doom. Once she entered the principal’s office. Mrs. Whip Cream mumbled, “Sit down Catherin.” Catherin was frightened. Mrs. WC mumbled, “You’re in trouble.” She called Mrs. Sugar Plum, Catherin’s mom.

Mrs. Sugar Plum replied with a soothing voice, “Hello is something wrong.” Mrs. Whip Cream replied, “something is beyond wrong. Catherin has been talking back to Mr. Paul, so she has to leave for the rest of the day”. Mrs. Sugar Plum answered “I understand I will pick up little Cath in five minutes.”Finally her mother got to the office she look at Catherin and shook her head. When Catherin got in the car her mom shouted “you’re grounded all day.” Once they got to Sugar Stone Castle Catherin’s dad King Sweet sent Catherin to her pink cotton candy room. She jumped on the trampoline and landed on her star bed weeping so hard.

Chapter 2 Grounded for a Day Catherin was still stuck in her room with nothing to do. Her BFF Rhymeizda called her and mumbled “still grounded” with a low reply yes. Then they both hanged up.

Catherine’s mom came to her room and replied “Cath do you want to talk about it”. She replied “no. I will not talk about it. Then her mom spoke with her blue dress, which was like a Cinderella dress. “Why did you say that Mr. Paul had a man skirt?” Catherin exclaimed “I don’t know”. I just got so mad when he mumbled I was daring”. Then Catherin’s mom exclaimed “don’t be sad he just mean, so come to dinner and write a sorry letter to Mr. Paul. Catherin started on the sorry letter and it verbalized. Dear Mr. Paul, I am sorry for being disrespectful. I will not remark your kilt is a man skirt. I will see you at school tomorrow. Then as she was walking down the stairs for dinner, she heard a noise. Catherine exclaimed come out it was a cotton candy puff. She picked it up declared your name is Sugar Pie, and then she put it in her room and went on to dinner. She started to talk to her parents asking why did you ground me and her father advised that you were mean to Mr. Paul talking about it is a man skirt. That is why you are grounded. Tomorrow you will go to school and apologize. Catherin went to her bedroom mad and she knocked her bed over, and then started to go to sleep her next day. She had a dream while sleeping when she was five years old that a boy name Piper Peter Piper’s son was going to her school

Chapter 3 Cupcakes Power Catherine went to school and her head dropped with the note in her palm. She went to her third class. Mr. Sour drop is so sour he gave us an “F” for no reason. Today we were going to make sour cupcake. Catherine drops the wand down and her pink dress had a cupcake design. Everyone started looking at her. She asked to go to the bathroom. Mr. Sour drop cried yes and when she looks into the magic mirror the Fairy stated you have to go home. She called her mom to pick her up. Once, Catherin got home and her mother dash to her room and replied sit down I have to tell you what is going on. “Catherin sat down and her mom informed her it started April 19. My hair turned blue. The next day I had ice cream

powers, the troll attacked and I stopped the trolls. After that I lost my powers and failed. Catherin mumbled “I don’t want my powers”. Her mom remarked I know, so I am going to take you to Lupe the Wizard. The lumpy stairs went done the spooky hallway and Catherine opened the creaked the door and yelled hello. A creepy old lady came out and advised I’m Lupa and can I help you? Do you have potion for undoing powers. Lupa flew up to the spell books and declared no I do not have a spell book for undoing powers, but I can make a spell. Lupa replied why do you need it? Catherin replied it is because I have these cupcake powers, that I don’t want them, so please take it away. Lupa advised I will have to work on this mixture and it will be done tomorrow Catherin. Catherin shouted thank you and then walked away.

Chapter 4 The Hero

It was abnormal day and all of a sudden the three God sisters were determining to capture Catherin. Suddenly, Catherin glazed the first god sister Milona.

Catherine got shot and she was in the forest and she used super cherry whip cream action. Catherin fearlessly and quickly shot the three god sisters with a bow and arrow, while they were distracted. The three sisters laugh in an evil way and shouted you will never get away because we captured you no. Catherin baked the rope with her heating power the god sisters turned around with their mouth opened wide. “How did you get free from our trap “declares the God sister? Then Catherine hot fudge them and they were all stuck. Catherine was afraid and ran home. By the time she got home it was lunch time. Her mother asked “how was your day”? Catherine replied, not good because I had a battled with the god sisters. Her mom gasped Catherin told her mother that she was alright.

Then Lupa came and Catherin announced that I have the potion the two ladies went down to the cell and Catherin was standing in the corner and waited in the background. Lupa was saying red candy lollipops, goo ice cream. Then Lupa dashed and put some on Catherin. Catherin walks to her room her head was spinning. Catherin stated sleeping by the time Catherin woke up it was morning her power were gone and she was happy. When she got to school everyone was completely on the defense. Now she felt sad because she gave her powers away. Rheymezed said you are a legend in you school news paper. Catherin whispered I gave my powers away. Rhymezed told her you can steal be a hero. Then they walked away to go home.

Chapter 2

Still wondering what had happened, Maddy lay on her bed in confusion staring at the old ceiling. “I will have to ask Ms. Agatha” she whispered to herself.

The next morning during breakfast Maddy asked Ms. Agatha “who cleaned the stairs.” “You of course.” curiously replied Ms. Agatha. “That’s weird because I do not think that I cleaned the stairs”, Maddy thought and went up the wooden stairs. As she went up Ms. Agatha screamed “you have to clean my bathroom and yours too!” Disgusting, thought Maddy!

Walking into Ms. Agatha’s bathroom Maddy whispered to herself, “all I do is clean, clean, and clean. I wish I could get adopted today. I live such a

sad, boring, exhausting , and most of all such a disgusting life”.

Chapter 3

“Maddy come down from upstairs , I have a surprise to tell you.” Shouted Ms. Agatha Quickly and anxiously Maddy sprinted down the stairs wondering what in the world the surprise could be. “Your adopted” Ms. Agatha whispered silently into Maddy’s ear so that nobody else could hear. Maddy thought that Ms. Agatha was lying. However, when Ms. Agatha said “Would you like to meet your new parents? They are waiting outside for you!” 143

Maddy could not believe her mind!

amazed that she was adopted and that her thoughts have all been coming true.

Going outside Maddy saw her new parents and

thought this was the best day of her life. “Hi, my name is Jane and I am your new mother.” Exclaimed Jane. “Hi, my name is Mason and I am your new father.” This is going to be the best life, a new magical daughter, and a sister for my little Princess, Mason thought.

Chapter 4 “I am excited to tell you that you also have a little sister.” Jane whispered into Maddy’s ear. “What I have a sister?” Maddy questioned her parents. “Yes you do and her name is Princess” “This is going to be better than I expected”, Maddy thought. “We’re home”, cried Jane. On the outside, the house was hot pink, with a fountain painted light purple, The house was shaped like a Castle. The interior of the house was pink and orange with gold embelished molding covering the rooms.

“Wow! This is a big house”, Maddy shouted in excitement. “So, where is my room?’, Maddy asked curiously “It’s the corner room on the left.” Mason Replied.

Chapter 5

Maddy hurried up the wooden stairs and into the corner room. “Wow, this is sooo pink”, she said. “Hi, you must be Princess?”, exclaimed Maddy, “Yes! I am Princess and you must be my new sister Maddy?” shouted Princess. We are going to be a great family, Princess exclaimed. 146

“I love my room”, Maddy stated. What Maddy did not know is that the whole family has magical powers and that the family was going to unlock her powers by redeeming her powers from her mind while she was asleep

Chapter 6 -It was midnight and Maddy lay fast asleep. Jane

slowly walked into Maddy’s room and whispered “it’s time” to Mason who was already in the room!

Slowly Mason chanted, “From your mind to your hand, hand to mind left her have powers like mine”. Suddenly, shimmering and sparkly light powers emerged from her hand!

Then Jane took the powers and put them into Maddy’s hands and softly chanted, “May the power stay within us”. The powers transferred into her hands quickly and magically. You could see the energy moving through the air in the form of a gold ball that suddenly disappeared into the small palm of her hands very slowly and gently!

Chapter 7

The next morning during breakfast, sitting at the kitchen table, Jane asked Mason, “Should we tell Maddy that she has powers?” “Yes, I think we should”, Mason replied. Maddy came down the stairs, slowly in her blue and white gown. “Good morning” said Maddy, slowly and politely, while walking to the kitchen table. “Good morning” replied Jane and Mason. Maddy was so glad to wake up to her own family. That loved her very much.

“We have something very important to tell you” Jane said. “You have Magical powers that allow you to make spells and perform wizardry with your hands. The only problem is that the words have to rhyme or you have to think of what you are doing in your head. You also have wizard school on Saturdays from 8-10am that you will attend for two weeks and you will start next week”, Mason explained.

“What! Maddy said. She thought for a moment, then realized that it all made sense. This is why her thoughts at the orphanage were

coming true. She has powers to make her wishes, dreams and thoughts come true. Suddenly with his hand Mason started lifting Maddy very gracefully and put her back on the ground. Maddy landed on her feet. Maddy was amazed her jaw was dropped down, she looked like she was staring into space, and you could see her shivers going up her spine.

Maddy new home had a special wizard room.

Since

Maddy knew she was a wizard, she was allowed to go into the wizard’s room. Going into the wizards room Maddy felt like she belonged here and did not feel out of place or uncomfortable. She opened the door and the first thing she saw was a sphere with blue and red electricity bolting in it and she sprinted straight into her room like she was a cheetah.

What can that be, Maddy wondered. Can it be the wizard ball? Why is it in there? Later she figured out from Princess that the sphere was the wizard ball and it was used for giving powerless humans power. Now Maddy felt like she belonged with her family and she knew that a small change can make a big difference. I cannot wait to see what my new life has in store of me.

On a dark stormy night lie two baby sisters in a forest. The two grew in the forest by themselves and raised a baby horse named Nikko. As the three grew up, they got older and gained more knowledge. So, when the two girls Alisha and Kaia were about 10 years old they started to gather supplies and built a little shack high up in a tree and called it the tree house. Kaia and Alisha got along great, but when Kaia sort of started to take over Nikko and made it her pet Alisha got jealous and stopped talking to Kaia. Later that day Kaia questioned Alisha “What do you want for dinner Alisha?” All Kaia heard was A frog down by the lake. Kaia got on Nikko and went out and on to the ground; she yelled “I’ll be back!”The next morning and Kaia and Nikko are still not back yet. Alisha is worried sick! And regrets ever doubting that Kaia that she doesn’t like Alisha. Alisha opens the door and yells “Kaia!” she walks down the tree and walks by a Construction site. “Help! Help!” Alisha paused. She charges over there, opens the lid and screams “Kaia and Nikko! I’m so glad to see you!” “Yeah me too! Now could you help me out?” “Oh yeah, here grab my hand.” “Thanks!” Kaia said Lovingly. “Let’s go home!” Kaia exclaimed.

Chapter 1 Back in the Forrest Josh hands became so cold that there was a layer of ice on his skin. Fog was in the

air and smoke came out of Josh’s mouth as he breathed. There was a sound of a flush sound coming from the river that was about one-‐hundred meters away from Josh. The trees were a dark brown with a dark slippery moss spots. “Thump, thump, whoosh!” Josh jumped around and saw that someone with a red and black hoodie and jeans had slipped on a rock. As Josh got closer he saw that the person had pink tennis shoes on with purple laces. The mysterious person had a blood stain on her elbow and it started to drip into some moss making it a dark red. “Are you okay?” Josh questioned concerned. “Yes, just slipped on a piece of moss on a rock.” The person said in a light voice which made it sound like the person was a girl. “Here come with me, I have bandages at my mom’s house.” Josh demanded soflty. “Oh your Stacy’s son?” She asked. “Yes, do you live around here?” “Yes we moved here a year ago, and my family became good friends with yours.” “You moved here just when I left to the city to work.” “Yah, what is your name, your mom never mentioned it?” “Josh, now come with me so we can help that elbow.” They both walked down the sides of the river to the house. Josh soon became annoyed with the woman because all she 158

did was talk all the way there and kept on slipping on rocks because she was clumsy and Josh had to help her. Then they arrived to the house that was painted green with cracks in the wood. They stepped up stairs to see a red welcome mat. “Back home.”

Chapter 2 Back Home “Thump, Thump, Thump” Josh knocked on the door while looking inside the window. Josh saw bright orange feet stepping to the door and peering out into the peep hole. “Josh nice to see you again.” A tall fat man came out of the house. “Stacy, Josh is back home from the city.” A small, shriveled up woman with fray hair came out of a bedroom with a blue dress with red flowers on it. She came down the stairs with a dark wooden cane that had luster. “Hi Josh, thanks for deciding to visit us.” Stacy softly and lightly said to Josh. “Hi mom.” Josh mumbled while his mom was giving him a hug. “Oh, you met Nicole.” “Yes, she slipped on moss and cut her elbow.” Josh explained as Nicole held up her elbow. “Oh, well come here so we can fix that up.” Stacy remarked in a country accent. wrapped around Nicole’s elbow so slow like there was not a worry in the world. “You guys want anything to eat for dinner, meatloaf, soup, pizza, sandwich.” “A sandwich will do mom.” “Thank you but I really must go, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Nicole yelled as she was outside walking away from the house. “Bye!” All three of them yelled on the pouch making sure she got home safe. It was dark outside and before they bought the house they were warned that bears, mountain lions and other animals come out at night. Nicole was in the drive way of her house when Josh’s finally came in. When Josh came in side it felt like he was in a hot tub because outside of the house it was freezing. After about thirty-‐minutes the sandwiches were ready and the family dined together at the kitchen table. After they were done all of them took a shower, brushed their teeth, and went to bed.

Chapter 3 The Last Day

It was the last day that Josh could stay at his parents’ house. His boss had to call him

in for an urgent meeting and if he didn’t come he would be fired. He was out in a hurry. His parents took him to the airport. They were in there own town and after five to ten minutes they finally reached the airport.

It was as crowed as ten people in an outhouse bathroom. There were lines of people

coming from the metal detector. Josh got in the back of one and of the lines. The sign said a thirty minute wait, but it felt as if it were an hour.

He got on the plane and was heading back home to New York.

Chapter 4 Robbed

Josh got home and his house windows were broken and his flower vases were

shattered on his front porch. Josh’s was shocked, he dropped his glasses on the floor and ran through the house. Everything was gone. His computer, couch, and table, everything was gone. Years of hard work and childhood savings was gone straight done the drain.

“Hello, all my stuff was stolen while I went on a break to my mom’s house, and I

have no money saved up.”

“Okay sir, did you be sure to lock your door before you left.” It was plain as day. Josh

could clearly remember it. He was trying to go so fast that he forgot to lock the door.

“If you do not lock your door and get robbed does insurance cover that.”

“No sir.”

“Okay, never mind.” Josh mumbled sadly. He had no one in the city to live with so he

sold some of his stuff. He got enough money to rent a hotel room. Soon enough he got his paycheck and kept making more money until he had enough money to get his house back.

Chapter 1-‐‘The Educators’ Annabelle sat on her couch, her eyes fixed on the television. The cool breeze invaded her home, making it nice and cool. A few minutes later something came through the window, it wasn’t a breeze, but a fox! The fox quietly sat down next to Annabelle and waited for her to notice him. Annabelle took a glance but quickly looked back and almost yelled. “Whoa there, human of the name ‘Annabelle’...Wait a second, where are your ears and paws?!” Annabelle nonchalantly shrugged. “ I really have no clue, why are you here, and what’s your name?” “My name’s Yuki, I’m here because I need your help to stop an evil force known as ‘The Educators’, they also kidnapped your friend, Ashton, are you willing to help?” 164

Yuki held out his paw and Annabelle shook it, she had no idea what she was doing. Yuki, then scrambled around Annabelle’s home looking for supplies. He snatched all of her books from the shelf. “What are you doing, Yuki?” Annabelle grabbed Yuki before he could do any more damage. “These books are great weapons, the ones you have are over powered”. With that said, they continued to prepare for the battle.

Chapter 2-‐ Heading out “Be careful!” Annabelle was already out the door. What she discovered was indescribable. Oh my gosh!” Possessed citizens stumbled and scurried around like brainless zombies. Yuki trotted over to her. “These used to be the citizens of Nashville” Annabelle gasped, astonished. “How!?” Yuki sighed. “Long, long story.” 165

Annabelle ran up to one and saw their evil faces; it was sad looking at them. Yuki jumped on her head. “To the teacher’s hideout, ride my trusty steed, ride!” Annabelle ignored Yuki’s behavior, because that would slow them down. The sky got dark and lighting struck near them, creating an obstacle for Annabelle. She hopped like a rabbit, doing her best to arrive quickly. Yuki started waving the whit surrendering flag, not knowing what he was doing. Annabelle just threw it on the ground and ignored him. Yuki, who was new to the human world, kept on asking unnecessary questions. Annabelle was annoyed and had the urge to just drop Yuki. She stopped for a second and peered into the ocean of possessed citizens. Once the mob noticed them they tumbled towards them. Annabelle wiped her forehead and dashed to the nearest school, which was huge. Annabelle opened the door and found a small classroom. A teacher threw a book at them as they walked in. The teacher screamed and roared, “Go away!” She sounded as if she had lost her sanity. “Yuki, are all of them like 166

this?” Yuki stayed silent, Annabelle took that as a yes Once the battle was over the two headed towards the library. Yuki ran into the huge library “This is it!” Yuki looked around “I’ll go find your friend, you go find the principal.” Annabelle nodded and watched Yuki disappear behind the shelves. “OK, I guess I go here” . She entered the staff room and found a mess! There were books, pens, and pieces of papers everywhere! She assumed this is where her friend was. Chapter 4-‐ The Battle In it’s hands were Yuki and Ashton. What was she to do? She watched the figure move closer and closer to her. “What do you want?” she rolled her eyes and tried to act cool. The voice of the large figure shook the whole library. “Why, I just need you, Annabelle dear! You have 167

incredible powers that can help us take over the world!” Annabelle was bewildered; She was an average citizen of Nashville. “What are you thinking about, Why, you have the powers of knowledge!” When Annabelle heard those words her body started twitching. The man ignored her and juggled Yuki as well as Ashton. A book landed on the mans head with a thump. “What in the name of-‐“ but before he could finish his sentence a herd of mice trampled over him, causing him to trample over. Annabelle was calmly standing there but her eyes raced around, moving objects and spawning animals. Birds pecked at the mans large hands, forcing him to release Yuki and Ashton. “Thank you so much, Annabelle!” they chanted. Chapter 1 -‐ The Field The field was a magical place. It was where my family had discovered their powers. There were four powers. They were mind control, levitating, gold finder, and fast flyer. My only two cousins, LooLoo and Lula had levitating power. Levitating was a rare power, so was fast flyer. Fast flyer was an amazing power you could make make tornadoes and control the air. But fast flyer wasn’t all that great. Sometimes you could not control your powers. The tornadoes you made could be terribly bad and messy that you couldn’t stop it. My grandpa would tell me stories about him being a fast flyer as a young boy. The stories he told me were so adventurous and would always sound so brave. I loved sitting on my grandpa’s lap. Every night he would sit in my room and tell me stories until I would fall asleep. “Wow, Grandpa!” I would say, “I wish I could be like you”. “Oh, Sonny some of these adventures were great but some were life or death threatening”, he would reply. Chapter 2 – Part 1 Stories “Shhh!” Alex whispered, “I’m telling a story”. “Ohhh! Which one are you going to tell?” asked Looloo and Lula. Exhaling, I’m telling a new one tonight about the first girl who discovered her powers. Everyone was silent. There was once a young girl who lived in a small village called Hobokin. She had three brothers named Ronald, Patrick, and Steve. One day her and her brothers went for a walk on another part of town. Soon enough they had noticed they were lost but they just kept walking. All they could see was a small river. They new it was there because they could hear the water moving and flowing. Elizabeth woke up early that morning. Her brothers were still sleeping on the ground. She didn’t remember falling asleep or when she did. All she remembered was the river flowing. She pranced to the river when she stopped she fell in. Chapter 3 – Part 2 Stories “Help me! Just to review this is the part of the story were person was drowning and after finds a interesting gold rock. Chapter 1 So Much Fun

With runners on first and second, I am up to bat. The first pitch is

a ball and on the second pitch I hit the ball out of the park for a three run, walk off homerun in the bottom of the sixth, and our team wins the district title. My coach gives me a nice big pat on the back as I jog to home plate. I put all my gear in my bag and run straight to my parents.

“Great game Billy,” my dad said.

We all walk to our Honda minivan. I threw my bag in the trunk

and close the sliding door. We turned onto Lancing Drive and drove into our cul-‐de-‐sac. My dad puts my gear in the garage while I run inside to take a shower and then I run to my friend Chuck Finley’s house. We are having a sleep over.

As soon as I got to Chuck’s house, I rang the doorbell with my

unusual rhythm. I rang it once, waited three seconds and rang it one more time. When Chuck heard the doorbell he knew it was me. We made up this pattern when we where seven and have used it ever since. He came down stairs as if he was running from a bear. He answered the door with his X BOX 1 headset on his head, he was playing Dirt Bike BMX. We ran upstairs and I grabbed a headset and a controller. I pressed on play, chose my ride and we started the game. I had a quad XL with nitrous gas to give me speed.

After we raced on multiplayer 11 times on X BOX 1we went to the

movies to watch “Captain America the Winter Soldier.” During the movie we had two medium boxes of popcorn, two slurpies and three sour patch kid candies. When the movie was over we left and went back to Chuck’s house. When we got there we went swimming. It was so much fun and we stayed up really late.

When we woke up, I looked at my phone. It was 9:32 am but we

were so tired we could have slept in till 1:00 pm.

“Do you want to go back to bed?” yawned Chuck. 175

“Yeah but we should probably eat some breakfast,” I said sleepily

Chuck and I headed downstairs to the kitchen.

“Hi mom,” Chuck murmured.

“Hi Mrs. Finley,” I said.

“I was wondering if you two were ever going to get up,” said Mrs.

Finley.

“Hi dad,” Chuck said

“Hi son,” Mr. Finley replied

“Hi Mr. Finley,” I said

“Hi Billy,” he replied

Chuck put waffles in the toaster and two minutes later took them

out of the toaster and split them evenly. He gave me two and he took two. Chuck turned on the TV and Animal Planet was on and we watched a little while eating and then went back to his room. As Mr. Finley grabbed the newspaper I looked out the door and saw a new kid across the street. 176

Chapter 2 The New Kid

Yawn. “What’s for breakfast this morning,” I asked my mom.

“French toast,” she replied.

I went to go get the mail and the newspaper and the kid I saw

yesterday was back again, he was getting his mail too so I decided to say hi.

“Hello, my name is Billy,” I said.

“Hey, my name is Jackson, but people call me Jack,” he replied

casually.

“I see that you are moving in,” I said.

“Yeah, we just bought the house and we are moving all our boxes

in,” he said.

“Well it was nice meeting you. See you around soon,” I said.

He nodded and said, “Hopefully.”

Billy rushed home and asked his mom if she knew there was a

new family moving in. Billy’s mom nodded and said, “I set up a play date for you, Chuck and Jackson. He is coming over at 3:30 today.” 177

I heard the doorbell ring one time and then three seconds later

once again, I knew it was Chuck. I opened the door and there stood Chuck with his mom and dad and Jackson with his parents. Chuck and Jack rushed into the house and ran upstairs.

“What do you guys want to do?” I asked.

Jack replied, “I love baseball.”

“No way! Chuck and I just won the district title,” I said. Chuck,

Jack and I played baseball all day until it was too dark to see. Chapter 3 Road Trip

“Yes! This is my favorite time of the year, its spring break and it’s

time for a road trip,” I told Chuck over the phone.

This year for spring break we are heading to Wisconsin. We live

in Michigan and every year we would go to Minnesota or Ohio but, after a short few days it would get boring. I was excited to go to Wisconsin because I had heard about a place called Noah’s Ark Water Park. It is a 178

water park with nearly 70 acres of water fun. We are leaving tomorrow and will spend 2 days there. We have never been to Wisconsin, but it should take us 7 hours to get to the park. I said goodbye to my friends as we drove away to Wisconsin. The trip felt like it was seven days not seven hours. When we arrived in Wisconsin we stayed at the Sheraton hotel which was about five minutes away from the water park.

The next day I woke up to my alarm clock it was loud and clear

since I was really tired. My mom was watching Good Morning Wisconsin.

“Oh hey honey, you’re up,” she said.

“Yeah, I just got up,” I said yawning.

“How did you sleep?” my dad asked.

“Good,” I said still yawning.

“Do you want something to eat?” my mom asked.

“No, I am fine,” I exclaimed.

“Can I watch what I want to watch?” I asked

“Sure, but we leave in fifteen minutes,” my dad said.

“Never mind,” I said yawning again.

I put on my swim trunks grabbed my towel and sunscreen and ran

towards the elevator. I pressed on the button that said lobby and went down. My dad grabbed the keys from the valet and we walked over to our car. Finally we have arrived at the park and I have been stuck waiting in the car for five minutes. I gave my ticket to the lady and she gave me an all day pass. It was a wrist band that was purple and said “It’s Splashy”. I went on all the rides 19 times and by the end of the day I could have slept on a bed of nails. Chapter 4 OUCH

I woke up to the sound of sirens. They were loud and scary

because I didn’t know why I was on a stretcher.

“What’s going on, what happened, why can’t I feel my legs?” I

questioned.

“Honey, we were in a car crash and well you know how you were

sitting in the back seat passenger side? Well, some crazy driver slammed us into the wall, ” my mom said crying.

“Do you feel ok?” my dad asked. 180

“Yeah, but dad I can’t feel my legs,” I replied.

“Your legs are paralyzed,” my mom said.

“For how long?” I asked.

“Forever,” my mom and dad said synchronized.

I went into shock. All I thought about was not being able to play

baseball and what I would do instead. My mom and dad started crying. The medic walked over to ask how I felt. He said that I would be in a wheel chair the rest of my life. Chapter 5 Why?

Why do I have to be stuck in this stupid wheelchair while the rest

of my team was doing practice, including Jack and Chuck. I was stuck on the sideline, in the dugout doing absolutely nothing but staring at my team. I never imagined that my team was so bad without me. I turned around in disappointment and wheeled out of the dugout. I looked up and saw a kid coming by on a wheelchair with a basketball in his lap.

“Hey, where are you going?” I asked. 181

“I am going to basketball practice,” he replied.

“But you are in a wheelchair,” I said.

“So what,” he retorted. Chapter 6 Wow

When I got home from the park that afternoon, I asked mom and

dad how to play wheelchair basketball.

“You wheel up and down the basketball court shooting and

dribbling just like basketball but in a wheelchair. Why, do you want to try it?” they asked.

“I was talking to this kid at the park and I was watching their

practice and he said they have a spot on the team and if I wanted to play I could,” I replied.

“If that is what you really want to do then we will sign you up,” my

parents said.

“He said their next practice is on Thursday and if I could make it

to come out and give it a try,” I said. My mom and dad started laughing. “What’s so funny?” I asked.

“We were thinking about signing you up anyways,” they said in

unison.

After we ate dinner we all went to bed, but since my room was

upstairs and I was in a wheelchair I got to sleep on the couch downstairs in front of the 60 inch flat screen television.

I woke up the next morning excited to go to my first wheelchair

basketball practice. We drove to the park and when I arrived I got out and wheeled over to my practice, not knowing where I will go from here. # # #

Chapter 1 It was January 12, 1875, cars honking and people were taking selfies and posting them on instagram. There walking across the street a small figure appeared wearing a black rain jacket. All the sudden a group of gangsters cut him off into a dead end. The gangsters lead the small figure to their leader which was a black man wearing two chains. “Whats a little kid doing in China.” Asked a man wearing the chains. The small figure took off it’s black jacket there standing was a thin brown Asian cat. The explained “My name is Benezryndjar from the planet none of your beez wax.” The man wearing two chains replied “My name is Two Chainz.” Benezryndjar replied “Nice name but I need to know where the nearest exit is.” 186

Two Chainz says “ go straight, then take a right off of subway.” Benezryndjar says “Thank you young sir and by the way, people just call me Ben.”

Chapter 2 All of a sudden Ben finds a Pokemon gym, he wants to earn his eighth gym badge, but he has to face the hardest gym leaders, Zachary C. and Zachary D. Ben walks into the gym to find the two leaders Zachary C and D, he finds gym leaders Kaia and Imani, the two Easiest gym leaders in the world. He turns around, but before he leaves Kaia tells him to, Wait you must battle us.” Then he turns around and says,”Then Lets battle.” Then Kaia sends out Venusaur and Imani sends out Blastoise. Ben took out his strongest Pokemon, Doodado and Banana Bus. The girls have first attack, not knowing its 187

their last attack because they both use self destruct. Ben’s pokemons did not faint one hundred HP out of a hundred one. After the battle the girls were supposed to give Ben a Pokemon badge, but stood there nervously. “ Wheres my badge asked Ben.” The girls say“ We don’t have it.” Nervously. “Well, then where is it?” They say “Zachary C and D have it, but they were captured by Two Chainz.” With shook on his face Ben takes Imani and kaia and leaves the gym in search of Two Chainz to receive his badge. They all jump into his Lamburgini, inventador. Before they left Kaia yelled, “We have to get our boyfriends, they are good fighters.” “ Then lets go get them.” Sighed Ben.

Chapter 3 They arrived at Kaia's house and went inside. As they were getting comfortable, a horse ran in loudly and quickly. Ben quickly turned to Kaia and yelled “Kaia your boyfriend is a horse!” The horse says,My name is Danny.” In a southern accent. “Well, nice to meet you Danny.” Before Ben can give Danny instructions, Imani lights up and changes into a different person. “What the .... Before he can finish his sentence the random person says, “My name is Tia!” in a country accent. “Are you dating a horse” questioned Ben. “What no sugar.” Ben sighed with relief then finally realized that Imani was gone. Danny noticed Ben’s worries and says “Imani is not dead, they're alternate cousins so they switch places from time to time.’’ in a horsey voice. “Well, not we got that cleared up lets go get Tia’s boyfriend.”

Chapter 4 They went to Tia’s house and got a surprise from a a tall man standing in the dark. The tall man announced “My name is Lawrence.” “Can you fight?” Ben asked without haste. “Yes!” proudly shouted Lawrence. “Then get in the car.” Ordered Ben. They all went into the car then wham everyone blacks out.

Chapter 5 Day turned into dawn as the Asian cat wakes up in front of him stood Lawrence and Two Chainz. “Lawrence the guy next to you is the enemy attack!” Ben yelled as loud as he could. “Now why would attack my accomplice.” Evilly said Lawrence. Then wham Ben blacks out again. This time it turns dawn to night and everyone wakes up tied up to rope with a giant self destruct machine in front of them. “I’m evil and I’m going to press this 190

big red button now.” Remarks Lawrence. Before Lawrence clicks the red button Ben uses it’s claws cuts the rope and hudukons Lawrence into pieces then khemeahemahas Two Chainz into ash. Then blacks out again.

Chapter 6 “What happened?” Ben questioned. “Where am I?” “You’re in the Negative Universe remember you pushed the red button when you were asleep and blew up our planet but you teleported to here before it blew up according to Tia’s last text.” Says a girl who sounds familiar. “Imani is that you?”. Ben asked. “No dur sherlock.” answered Imani. “Now be quiet I'm trying to beat my high score in flappy birds.” “O.K.” said Ben as they pointlessly float in space.

I was getting out of bed because all I could hear was the sound of cars honking and

babies crying. I knew this was going to be another ordinary day. I was in my brand new Ferrari and I felt like everyone else was in a minivan. I knew everyone else was jealous of me.

“Hey, where did you get the Ferrari?” someone yelled.

“The car dealer!” I screamed.

I stepped on the gas pedal as hard as I could. I had to run five red lights, but it was

legal to me because I had to get to work. I finally got to work after getting five tickets from different cops. The worst thing about it was that Mr. Puttman, my boss, was going to be mad at me for being late. My day job is a lawyer, my night job is a spy.

“Come here,” Mr. Puttman screamed, “you’re late again!”

“I’m not always late,” I said. I went to my mission center. That is where I train for

day to day missions. The first room was filled with deadly gas. The second room had broken glass all over the floor. Those are some things you have to overcome as a spy. I tried to avoid the glass. I tried to leave the mission center after testing, but the doors wouldn’t open. Now, I had to use my card to open the doors.

I told Mr. Puttman about the doors not opening, but he just ignored me and told me

to go away. I went to our clerk, Abigail, she has control over all the technology at our base. I asked her if everything was fine, and she told me it was. I wasn’t really sure about that. I

thought she did something with the doors because usually they automatically open. Also, when I looked behind her desk, I saw pills that were labeled “zombie.”

Once I was finished with my job for the day, I went to sleep for a couple hours. You

don’t get much sleep when you are a spy. The next morning, I woke up and was ready to become a lawyer, again. One of the first clients I defended was named Carl. The judge was really hard to reason with. He didn’t listen to why I thought Carl should be set free. He had been charged with robbery for trying to steal a car. During the police investigation of the car, they found weapons in the back. We thought Carl was trying to steal the weapons. He was found guilty and was sent to jail.

When I got back to work, everyone had green skin. I thought Abigail and the part of

Carl’s crew that didn’t get caught, made everyone take the pills. Luckily, I wasn’t there when they were forced to take the pills. I tried calling Abigail, but she didn’t pick up. It was scary walking around with everyone looking zombies with a gun in their hand. They smelled dead and could barely stand up. I went back home that day and tried to call my co-‐ works, John, Amy, Jeff, or Jacob. Nobody would pick up their phone. I came home from defending a person named Enrique. When I got home, I got a call.

“Is this the Bland residence?” the stranger asked.

“Yes, this is Garrett Bland,” I said.

“I’m sorry, but you have been fired from your job,” he said.

I hung up the phone right after that. I was devastated and I didn’t sleep for the next two days. I was going to go figure out what happened with my job. I thought Abigail had set this up because she made everyone take the zombie pills and probably fired everyone that wasn’t there that day.

I read online that Abigail had something called a “take over the world” permit. I

thought I was crazy, but the internet was the only thing that I could trust right now. I went to where Abigail usually hung out. She put me in a corner and tried to make me take the pills. I screamed, “back off!” “Never, I am making you take these pills!” she said. I pushed her away and ran back to my house.

I thought about my work and of what had happened to everyone. I always had back

up storage food and weapons for emergencies. Now, I’ll have a chance to use it. I went to find Abigail, and I found her right next to my house. I took my weapon and tried to use it on her. She was stronger than I thought. I tried punching and kicking a few times, but it hurt my hands and feet. I finally made a move that allowed me to get control and put her in handcuffs. After the fight was over, I had to drag her all the way to jail. It was a few miles, but I would be happy to make the trip anytime someone was trying to infect me with zombie pills! It was just a typical day as a spy.

Chapter 1- Minutes Turn To Seconds

As they sped through the wavy jungle, the car started puttering. Harry, the dog yelled," I think the engine might give out". Then the butler smiled. His smile led Harry to remember that he could use his superpowers to supercharge the car. Harry then leaned over the dash of the sleek, flying Bugatti and lightly pressed his fingertips against the dash. The car went so fast that slobber was pouring out of their mouths. In a matter of seconds they were speeding into the city. They were going so fast that the supercar slammed onto the rough concrete. "What'd you do that for; this is a brand new one of these cars, I only have 19 of them left!" Screamed the wealthy canine as his boulder of a head smashed through the front window. Then a massive skyscraper slammed onto the hood of the car. As they were doing back flips in the air, Harry ordered another car to break their fall. They drove on dodging giant buildings as the car contacted the president. All of a sudden, a hairy gorilla picked up the phone and the two adventurous companions screamed like little girls until they realized who it was, the president! “Sorry sir, we thought you were a…” they exclaimed. “Yes, I know you do it every time, i’m a hairy gorilla”, replied the Chihuahua president. After a long conversation, they parked the car and ran, heading straight for the main building.

Chapter 2- The Evacuation Plan

Harry’s butler, Mr. Barff initiated a world evacuation to Harry’s house by switching a red lever on. The confused people started piling into the holding bays of Harry’s house-ship. Hours later, once all of the jets, planes, and cruise ships were all back they put up an unbreakable, glass dome that came out of Harry’s lawn. Once that was all done they started the evacuation launch. The countdown began, 10, 9, 8, so on and so forth. Then finally the whole population of the world lifted off the ground with all of the thrusters on all the way. The ground beneath them cracked and squirted up giant sums of lava because of the intense force the thrusters put out. It took a while but they reached space a couple of hours later. Their heading stayed straight on a path to another galaxy, two billion light years away, named Godala, the great galaxy of bravery. Of course no one knew why they called it that.

Chapter 3- The Great, Unexpected, Space Battle

They entered the galaxy, four days later, not knowing what was to come. The dome was cruising along to one of the mighty planets where they would rebuild Earth, when the ship was hit. Hit with what though? A monster? An alien?, an alien spacecraft? But Harry knew what it was and he had a plan to stop it. Wagging his tail, Harry Hobbler jumped on top of a giant red button and the unbreakable dome of light was covered up so no one but the authority could see outside. After that, the dome launched two high powered missiles directly into the tremendous Rhino’s heart. Splatter! Went the alien, all over the dome. At least Mr. Barff bought a gigantic windshield wipers (made specifically for extensively sized domes of light), read the package.

Chapter 4- The Aftermath

Soon after they all arrived at the planet Amstar. Everyone had gotten comfy on the trip and all you could hear was zzzzzzzz. The president, who is usually completely calm, burst through Harry’s door screaming. ‘ “What happened sir”, whispered Harry? “I had a nightmare about my mom”, replied Mr. Chihuahua. “Just go to sleep silently because I am trying to sleep, “yelled the dog, as he lay in his soft bed falling back to sleep. The Rhino’s goo reached the planet at night, while they were sleeping. In the morning, everyone woke up to find that the dome was covered in goo! It turned out while they snoozed the goo had spread throughout the planet creating a planet of sticky, icky, slimy, purple goo. Everyone was confused when they looked at the goo because it was suddenly disappearing. The purple goo was retracting onto the dark side of the planet.

Chapter 5- Where they went.

Barff, the butler stared at the goo as it retracted to the dark side of the planet. Suddenly, Barff had an idea! His plan was to send Harry up to the atmosphere to check it out. Harry came back so fast, that he almost went 20 feet underground, luckily it was only 19. 199

When he came up he breathed out the words, “get…ship….out…here!” It was Mr. Chihuahua’s mom like in his night terror. Instantly, right as he said it, a purple colossal Chihuahua came into sight. The Chihuahua will violently and aggressively eat us all while we try to get away!” explained Mr. Barff in terror. Harry laughed at the terrified and traumatized fox who was now crying. “I need to be paid more “whimpered the crying fox. There it was, the Chihuahua mom’s head hung right above them, getting closer towards them with her mouth open. Harry was the first one to notice the humongous dog head leaning in for the kill. Everyone screamed in horror as it almost consumed Harry whole.

Chapter 6 – Who are they?

Spontaneously, four small, little creatures crawled out of the dark. “Who are they?” questioned Mr. Chihuahua chewing his tiny nails. Everyone was turning their head like a confused dog until harry remarked, “my suit” He ran and the things flung toward him, latching onto him. He ran up to the mommy Chihuahua, touched her and instantly a shock wave destroyed the horrible creature.

Chapter 7 – The Great God. A few days later they were re-populating the planet. Harry knew his fate. He announced it that night to the people. “Is this it then”, wept Barff. I’m not going to see you again?” “Just look to the stars and you will find me”, explained Harry. “I can’t let you go,” remarked Barff who was now crying. “I know but there are things to do, places to see, and it’s all waiting for you” explained harry again. Harry started rising into the clouds and he vanished. Instantly, it started raining and Barff was running inside when he was struck by a perfectly straight lightning bolt that looked like it was aimed right for the butler. When he awoke he felt no pain. He felt powerful!

I tucked in my textured purple shirt and

pushed back my strawberry blonde hair. “ I need you to do your very best at your PFFA audition” my mom said. “ok” I replied politely. I looked down at my new sparkly shoes. My mom waved and headed back to the shiny car. I was so nervous I thought my brain was going to burst. “hi” a voice behind me yelled. “Ummmmm, hi” I replied while turning around. It was a tall thin girl. She was wearing so many colors it looked like a rainbow threw up on her. “what’s your name” the girl asked. “kota” I replied. I looked at a small clock in the corner of the stage. 8 o’ clock. An alarm went off inside my 202

head. 8 is when we start. I grabed the girl’s arm and pointed toward the clock. She looked at me then ran toward the building with me straggling behind. “what is your name” I asked while dodging the stacks of leaves. “taylor” she replied. I smiled and when I did I almost ran into a tree! We finaly made it to the Audition building. We were seprated into different groups then had our rotations. The audition was amazing. …………..I GOT IN!!!!! The End
