FADE IN: EXT. CHURCHYARD/GRAVEYARD - DAY LILY stands in a white communion dress, reaching up to a tree to grab the sole apple hanging from the branch. YOUNG MARY (V.O.) The Lord God had planted a garden, in Eden. In the middle of the garden was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Lily rubs the apple she’s picked on her dress, in a quick flash we see a smear of blood on the dress on the words ‘evil’, then it is gone. YOUNG MARY (V.O.) He said you must not eat from the tree. For if you eat... She bites the apple, then pulls it away from her mouth. There is blood around her mouth. YOUNG MARY (V.O.) ...you will surely die. In quick flashes a bloodied apple falls from LILY’S hands and she falls backwards onto the grass. YOUNG MARY then emerges from behind the tree. BLACK. ‘PRODUCTION COMPANY CREDITS’ CUT TO: EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS LUCY stands in the middle of the graveyard entrance. Almost instantly ADAM, who had been leaning against the wall approaches her. ADAM You just moved here? LUCY Yeah, I’m Lucy. They shake hands.

ADAM I’m Adam, it’s good to see a new face. We don’t really get a lot of new faces around here. Lucy looks up, Mary stands by the church staring at her. Beat. ADAM (O.S.) (CONT’D) Not anymore. INT. CAFE - NEXT DAY The music darkens as LUCY and ADAM sit opposite sides of a table, LUCY is invested in a deep conversation. ADAM You can’t breathe without them knowing. LUCY Who? ADAM The church. INT. CHURCH - DAY MARY stands in the church, looking at a stain glass window, she turns and looks directly at the camera. INT. CAFE - CONTINUOUS The conversation between ADAM and LUCY continues. ADAM Strange things happen there. LUCY What kind of Strange? INT. GRAVEYARD - NIGHT ADAM walks down the pathway of a dark and empty graveyard. We follow him from behind. ADAM Hello?

The camera approaches him, increasing in speed. As it gets the closest to him he turns quickly. ADAM scans the rest of the graveyard, there is no one there. As we CUT back to ADAM a look of confusion crosses his face before a hand grabs him, over the mouth, from off screen, pulling him out of view. He mumbles. INT. CHURCH - NEXT DAY LUCY stands at the altar looking at a picture of ADAM. MARY enters the frame, standing behind LUCY, who doesn’t look back. MARY glares down at her. MARY (O.S.) Did you pray for him? LUCY (Turning) I’m not religious. MARY steps backwards, her eyes trained on Lucy. MARY You should pray. Lucy looks confused as Mary leaves. BLACK. INT. ROOM - LATER The same book from SCENE 01 flips open onto the page labelled ‘Purgatory’ CUT TO: INT. LUCY’S BEDROOM - LATER LUCY types quickly on a keyboard, scrolling down a web page that reads ‘Lily Marshall: 20 Years On’ EXT. GRAVEYARD - DAY LUCY pears down at a grave, looking at it curiously. She runs her hand along the grave. LUCY (V.O.) What happened here?

EXT. GRAVEYARD - LATER As LUCY walks, she is grabbed by a WOMAN who shakes her violently. WOMAN Just leave it alone! LUCY I can’t! INT. CHURCH - MOMENTS LATER MARY’S feet echo as she walks up to the altar. A P.O.V shot as LUCY watches MARY holding a crucifix. MARY has blood all over her hands. Then suddenly MARY snaps her head round to look towards LUCY. LUCY turns, full of panic as her breathing get’s heavier and she hides from view. INT. BATHROOM - DAY The BREATHING overlaps as LUCY cowers at the end of a bathtub. The tapwater runs, then after a flash the water is no longer water, but blood. LUCY panics and screams. As there is another flash and now she is covered in blood. CUT TO BLACK. INTERTITLE: ‘THOU SHALL NOT LIE’ INT. CHURCH - DAY MARY stands with a bible, she looks up with a blank expression on her face. CUT TO: INT. CHURCH - LATER Now LUCY stands in the church, she looks up at the stained glass window that seems to be looking at her.

INT. CHURCH - DAY The camera HOLDS on a religious tapestry of Jesus, he seems to be staring at the camera. CUT TO: INTERTITLE: ‘Thou Shall Not Steal’ EXT. CHURCHYARD/GRAVEYARD - DAY LILY’S hand reaches upwards towards a shining red apple. CUT TO: EXT. CHURCHYARD/GRAVEYARD - DAY Lucy stands near the same apple tree from scene #1. She replicates Lily’s movements, reaching up to the apple. Mary stands at a distance behind her, watching closely. CUT TO: EXT. GRAVEYARD - NIGHT A frantic Lucy runs through the graves as the camera appears to be following her. BLACK. INTERTITLE: ‘Thou Shall Not Steal’ INT. HOUSE - DAY The book still sits on the ‘Purgatory’ page until is suddenly is flipped over. Now the page reads ‘Hell’. INT. CHURCH - DAY The camera looks down on Mary’s arm as she carves a crucifix in her flesh. CUT TO:

INT. CHURCH - NIGHT ADAM claws at his neck as a set of rosary beads that choke him from behind. CUT TO: INT. HALLWAY - DAY Lucy turns a corner preparing to go up stairs. She stops dead in her tracks and looks up. Mary stands at the top of the stairs looking down at her. Lucy is stunned. CUT TO: A SCREAM rips through the air. It bridges over to; INT. CHURCH - NIGHT A metal crucifix slowly falls to the ground, the sound echoing as it connects with the stone. It’s all very slow. FADE TO BLACK. TITLE SCREEN; ‘RAPTURE’ FADE TO: INT. CHURCH - NIGHT The camera slowly approaches Mary, who stands centre of the aisle with her eyes closed. She breathes in slowly. As the camera gets closer we wait for something to happen. It pulls into her face. Then her eyes quickly tear open to reveal pure black eyeballs. CUT TO BLACK. TITLE; ‘COMING SOON’
