Stage Two: Junior
The second stage of the cat life cycle is the junior stage. When the cat reaches the junior stage, it is 7 months old. The cat stays in this stage until it is 2 years old. Stage 3: Prime The third stage in the cat life cycle is the prime stage. Now the cat is an adult. When the cat is an adult, its body is strong, long, and tall. In this stage, Cats are very territorial. Only sometimes prime cats are playful. Prime cats do not need to be looked after anymore.

Stage 4: Mature The fourth stage of the cat life cycle is the Mature stage. The cat is now 7-10 years old. In human age, the cat would be 44-56 years old. Cats gain some weight in this stage. The Mature cat is not much different than the Prime cat. Cats will start to lose some of their beautiful fur. The cat needs to start excising and start taking vitamins C and E.

Stage 5: Senior The last stage of the cat life cycle is the senior stage. Cats in the senior stage are 11- 44 years old. In human years, the cat would be 60 - 70 years old. Senior cats are very lazy. They sleep for almost a whole day. You can see that senior cats start to grow white fur.

How a Cat survives What a Cat eats: Wild cats eat birds, fish and mice. Pet cats eat only cat food. Cats have good eyes for seeing in the dark to help spot and catch their prey.
How a cat protects their kittens: Cats will protect their kittens by marking their territory or hiding their kittens. If they have to fight, they will use their sharp claws and sharp teeth.
