The Wright Brothers By: Cole “Now boarding fight to the 1900s. This pilot will teach you everything about the Wright brothers” Wilbur was four when his brother Orville was born in August 19, 1871. Both the brothers were born in Dayton, Ohio. When the boys got toys and when the toys break they fixed them. When the two brothers were older they worked at a bicycle shop. Wilbur died on December 1, 1912, and Orville died on January 30, 1948. The two brothers had no special science or engineering training. The brothers printed their own newspapers. Wilbur was the editor and Orville did the publishing. “You’re now able to move around the cabin” Well they were trying to be the first to get a human in the air on a flying machine and back safely. The brothers were competing against the Russians. The Russians were failing. The invention benefited people because now we have air travel. On the plane they used a very lite motor made from extra parts at the bike shop. Then they made propellers from the same material of the plane. Then it has a chain to connect it to the engine. Finally, there is a wooden handle that pulls the brake on the opposite side that you turn on. “We are entering our final descent” Look how far the Airplane as come in one hundred years. The airplane started as some wood and strong fabric. Now we have planes that carry one hundred forty people and planes that go to the moon (rocket). “Please gather your belonging and depart the aircraft”.
