e The design aims to provide a maximum space for pedestrians,
cyclists and recreational places in the street. Several clusters of modular furniture provide areas for meeting and recreation. A continuous water line connects the various places along the length of the street.

tsoen A slender suspension bridge in combination with a thoughtful integration of a new school will connect in the future the city center of Utrecht with the new city quarter of ‘Leidsche Rijn’. The new school, schoolyard and bridge are positioned in such a way that they add different new places and activities to the park. The slope of the bridge for example, creates an amphitheater for the school and a tribune to watch the game at the sports field.

Tinto & Torto Par
rk
Located in Tinto and Torto rivers watersheds, the park aims to improve the environmental quality of the eastern part of
Porto and the western area of Gondomar, both similar as far as urban density is concerned. Based on a rural structure that gave way to an organic urban tissue, this area defines itself as quite loose and disqualified.
The opportunity of a Riverside Park resulting from articulation of agricultural parcels is seen as an opportunity to give cohesion to the urban tissue, preserving and promoting its nature.

The planning of a Residential area in association with the commercial, equipment and administrative services provides the services needed,
contributing also for the building diversity. This proposal ensures the best accessibility for cars, pedestrian and cyclists, with a hierarchy of streets and pathways in a straight connection with the inner city, as well as squares
and open spaces for recreational activities. Enhance the green structure of the city, with the green corridors along the streets and the backyards as well as to ensure the visual quality of the urban landscape.
Aveiro Urban Par
k The proposed landscape intervention aims to create a new urban park for the city of Aveiro. This park intents to ensure a variety of recreational activities and at the same time preserve the produtive character of
the agricultural fields. New cultivated allotments are proposed for the community as well as new pedestrian and cycle pathways for a good connection between the inner city and the new park.

“The profession of landscape architecture stands at a critical fork in the road. One fork leads to a significant field of endeavor contributing to the betterment of human environment, while the other points to a subordinate field of superficial embellishment. Hideo Sasaki
