Here’s What’s New New Registration Process
IMPORTANT: We no longer accept registration in class. ALL registration must be completed using one of the methods on the front inside cover. Please register at least 3 business days prior to the first class meeting to assure your participation. For complete information on all registration processes please refer to the front inside cover or visit our website at www.msjc.edu/ce and follow the “Steps to Register.” Please note: there is a different process for first time students and for students already in the MSJC enrollment system. If you need assistance please call the office at 951-487-3707 during regular business hours.
New Career Training Certificate
Office Skills Boot Camp is a fun, highly interactive course designed to prepare entry-level and re-entry job seekers to work in a professional office environment. Like any boot camp the purpose is to get in shape and train for a new challenge. Office Skills Boot Camp is designed for first time students who have some experience typing and basic software knowledge, but no real office skills training to prepare for employment. Boot Camp is also ideal for the re-entry worker who may have worked in an office many years ago and wants to bring their skills current. For more information check out the program details on page 12 and 15.
New Math Boot Camp & Writing Boot Camp
Brush up basic math and writing skills. Whether you need to get ready for college assessment or want to help your kids with homework, these boot camps will help you get ready. Details are on page 6!
NEW GED & ESL Registration Process
Our summer basic skills program includes GED preparation and Advanced ESL. The GED test changes in January 2014. If you have successfully completed part of your GED you need to finish before December 2013 or you must retake the entire new test. Check page 19 for details.
College for Kids
College for Kids is designed for fun and learning. We’re certain you will find something just right. There are a variety of classes for kids of all ages from Mommy and Me Jewelry Making to Robotics, and Technology camps for Teens. Check out College for Kids beginning on page 7.

Visit our webpage at www.msjc.edu/ce and look for the “Steps to register.” Online registration is only available for Fee based classes. System availability is 3:00a.m.-10:30p.m.
2) REGISTER BY MAIL: Registration will be accepted by mail. Print all information on the registration enrollment form. Forms lacking necessary information will not be processed. STUDENT DROP RESPONSIBILITY:
It is your responsibility to drop. DO NOT STOP PAYMENT on your check. If you stop payment, you will be assessed returned check charges. You will be unable to receive transcripts or register for courses until the debt is satisfied. REFUNDS FOR FEE-BASED CLASSES: Refund requests MUST be made by the third working day prior to the start of the class. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THIS TIME. A $10.00 per person/per event PROCESSING FEE will be retained by the college on ALL REFUNDS unless the class or event is canceled or the meeting times are changed by the Continuing Education Office. Veterinary Assistant This program will provide an overview and entry level training for the Veterinary Assistant profession. Starting in 2014, there will be a new GED test. The current version of the GED test is expiring at the end of 2013 and your scores will expire too if you don’t finish and pass the test by then. Finish the test now so you won’t have to re-take the sections you’ve already passed.
