More Information: Mike Johnson 320-843-5341 The 330-acre Appleton Area Recreation OHV Park opened in 2003 as western Minnesota’s first OHV riding area and was expanded in 2007. It is mostly old railroad line. It is now recognized as a premier destination for all off-road vehicles. Adding to the appeal of the area, the city of Appleton in Swift County is off-road rider friendly, meaning ATVs can travel on posted roads within city limits.
