ADDICTIONS AWARENESS FAIR On November 18th from 10 AM - 3 PM, SHEC will be hosting their 6th annual Addictions Awareness Fair - Above the Influence. This event will take place in MUSC Atrium and is aimed at raising awareness about many different addictions that thousands of students face today with the help of other on-campus organizations. The fair will be very fun and interactive with many different booths and activities for students to partake in. Come out and participate for the chance to win some great raffle prizes!
STRESS 101 SHEC’s Mental Health and Nutrition & Active Living committees are teaming up to talk about stress! This event will be held in residence at the end of November, and will focus on ways to maintain physical and mental health through informative discussion and fun “stress-busting” activities. Refreshments will be provided. Stay tuned and check our calendar for additional info about the date, time, and location of the event.

NOVEMBER 17: Too Much of a Good Thing Hurts: Internet and Social Media Addictions: In honour of the Addictions Awareness Fair, we will be discussing the rapidly growing phenomena of internet and social media addictions.
