KEY DISCUSSION POINTS Year End Celebration 2.0 Update Teddy Saull has brought back a new and improved year end proposal. If approved, the total cost to the MSU will be $40,000, while other campus partners will contribute $86,000. The event would be held on April 8th, the last day of classes, in the evening. Expect carnival rides, delicious food, buskers, music, and fireworks. Parking will be free on campus. Come out to the next SRA meeting to share your opinion on the proposal, which can be read here.

SRA Condemns Bus Lane Removal Students heavily depend on transit. We also make up a large portion of the HSR’s total revenue, through the McMaster bus pass agreement. Recently, Hamilton City Council voted to remove the Bus Lane running along King Street. The SRA has taken a formal stance that the lane should be kept, in hopes the city will reverse their decision.

Science Space - Project BSB B119 The SRA Science Caucus is proud to announce a new space dedicated to science students. Join us for the official launch party beginning February 9th for snack, warm beverages, and a space to mingle while getting some homework done. The space will be open every Monday through Thursday, between 6:30pm and 10pm.

Committee of the Whole: House Leader The SRA discussed whether a paid position should be introduced to help keep individual SRA members accountable. Some members agreed, while others felt that the SRA should be holding themselves accountable. The SRA are also accountable to every student in their faculty.
