$91 MILLION IN PUBLIC HEALTH EXTERNAL FUNDING

From 2014 – 2021, Michigan State University’s public health researchers have been awarded over $91 million in externally sponsored grants for community research.

Emphasizing health disparities and health equity solutions, MSU faculty are leading community based public health research partnerships with the Flint Community. Research efforts focus on improving health in the areas of chronic disease and behavioral health.
