When Appalachian State has the ball: Appalachian State receiver Ike Lewis has emerged as one of Taylor Lamb’s favorite targets. Lewis has 35 catches for 494 yards and leads the receivers with six touchdown catches. Jalin Moore returned to the Mountaineers lineup last week and ran for 114 yards.

When Georgia Southern has the ball: The Eagles still run plenty of option, but also mixes in the pass more than the days of Paul Johnson and Erk Russell. Wesley Fields leads the team in rushing with 494 yards and six touchdowns, while quarterback Shai Werts has gained 453 running the ball and 650 throwing it.
