Manchester United football club is no ordinary football club – our appeal is global. Anywhere you go in the world, people know our name. These people, are our fans and family. It’s a love; a passion; and a dedication, which flows both ways. Our #IAMUNITED fan parties, trophy tours and summer tours give our far-flung supporters the chance to get closer to the club they love. This year’s pre-season Tour, presented by Aon takes us to our fans in; Thailand, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Creating a unique and exciting opportunity to engage with them and be UNITED.
This is the Tour identity toolkit. It has been created to ensure correct applications of IP across all marketing and communications. For asset requests and IP approvals, please contact your relationship management team. All applications must ALWAYS be approved by the club.

IMPORTANT NOTE Before scaling the strapline, ensure all boxes are ticked in the options section of the scale preferences. This will scale the gingham pattern correctly within the object. The gingham pattern is very subtle, therefore it may be necessary to omit the pattern and replace with solid black, if the pattern is not clear due to production methods or smaller sizes.

TV AND DIGITAL MEDIA VIDEO - TONE All videos should be fast paced and portray excitement and anticipation from the viewer. Quick cuts and recommended filters and transitions help build the story.

The start sting should contain the Tour 2013 Presented by Aon logo only, while the end sting should contain the logo and call to action. The stings should never be edited in any way. They should never have any transitional effects added ( i.e. Fades, wipes, flashes etc).

They should only be used for the final few short frames and last no longer than a fraction of a second. Avoid overuse, use sparingly to compliment the content of the video. ‘Directional Blur’ Description - Blurs the current slide through to the next. Only horizontal blur should ever be used.
‘Static’ Description - Disrupts the current image through video field scan lines through to the next sequence.
