INTRODUCTION
SITE - NIRJULI, ARUNACHAL PRADESH AREA - 20.41 ACRES
Public transport terminals are complex entities; they are nodes in transport networks and places in the city : permanently or temporarily inhabited with a compact and varied collection of uses and forms accumulated through time. The presence of a terminal infuses a change in the travel tradition and culture around it. Designing a bus terminal is a challenge as it is not enough that
4
they should look pleasant and function seamlessly. User-friendly solutions also require efficient circulation, in particular when
3
the terminal serves thousands of travelers on a daily basis with varied abilities and requirements. The project was aimed at exploring the harmony between the different dynamic systems that are involved in a bus terminal which would include rejuvenation of the cities identity and help decongest the city. In Arunachal Pradesh, wherein the main population centers are not only scattered all over the state but are also separated by rivers, hills, valleys, and mountains, a reliable transport road network becomes all the more important and essential.
2
Transit utilities of the city are one of the most important and vital functions of the city. Transit segments constitute some of
1
the most fundamental development goals of the city by inviting masses to the city. Smooth and better transit opens up avenues for the future development of the city, helping the city fabric to improve rationally. Transit, whether Intra City or Inter City is the gateway of interaction between towns and settlements. This inculcates the merging of crowds from all walks of life and brings in better opportunities for the local masses. Interaction between cities and further progression in the development leads of conurbation of small urban areas into larger metropolis, which further builds in wider possibilities of urbanism.. Therefore the project was also aimed to identify the importance of transit hubs and its design and how it eases the way of transportation.

URBAN DESIGN
INTRODUCTION Connaught Place is one of the main financial, commercial and business centres in New Delhi, India. It is often abbreviated as CP and houses the headquarters of several noted Indian firms. It’s also the ninth most expensive office location in the world. Greying, whitewashed, colonnaded streets radiate out from the central circle of Rajiv Chowk, with blocks G to N in the outer circle and A to F in the inner circle. Today they mainly harbour brash, largely interchangeable but popular, bars, and international chain stores, plus hotels and restaurants. Touts are rampant. The Rajiv Chowk metro station in CP is an intersection point for the blue and yellow line; this brings is more footfall from all the cardinal directions. For this project, CP was divided into five different schemes and the task was allotted to again five different teams. Our goal was to re imagine the existing CP into a new one; a hub for education juxtapositioning the old CP.

DEVELOPMENT OF MASTERPLAN

DESIGN CONCEPT To rethink and re - imagine the current Connaught place into an educational hub without taking into consideration its radial form a language, but also revering to the heritage, is the main challenge of the design. The amalgamation of an education hub with an industry with juxtaposing the old facades of Connaught Place is the main theme of this design

It is accessible through metro stations of Nehru Place and Chirag Enclave. The site is near the ring road; hence it can be accessed through the ring road from any part of Delhi/NCR making the site an intense transit-oriented development zone. The design critically followed the TOD guidelines and reacted to the context.

DESIGN CONCEPT The project has spaces that cater to all kinds of users. The towers have spaces suitable for different classes of people, all under one roof so that every user gets the equal and unhindered experience of the features and the facilities of this mixeduse housing project. it is basically divided into three parts, the towers, podium, and the basement.
1
The podium houses the commercial spaces like retail shops, cafe/food joints, offices, workspace, restaurants, sports center, outdoor play areas, shaded area (gym, etc), and an open-air theatre. The site is void of boundary walls on all four edges so that the edges can act as an ‘eye on the street’ thus creating a safer neighborhood.

SITE - SURAJMAL VIHAR, DELHI AREA - 18.57 ACRES FAR - 2.25 The design studio focused on creating three different design schools promoting the character of each in every building. An administrative building, library, sports hall and an auditorium were prerequisites in the task. The design focused on creating a heirarchy of spaces for the students of the university from an individual school to inter school spaces and a commom oat. The three different schools were namely, School of Architecture, School of Design & Fashion and the School of Fine Arts.
DESIGN CONCEPT The concept of this project was a of realm for creative minds, a sanctuary where all the thinkers and creators would be further guided, disciplined and trained better to hone their skills in their respective fields and to march on forward as a team, as an idividual, a professional under the shadow of this realm.

G - SEN TROPHY 2019-2020
The brief was to create a single cartographic representation of an imagined cityscape - a hyperreal city. It also require to identify any one morphological elements from the existing cityscape to retain the imaginary version of that city, in order to maintain a point of reference between the two representations, for which the major informal sprawls of Delhi were choosen and with this there was the birth of the hyperreal ‘the eight city of Delhi.’
56
57
58
The map for the representation of ‘The Eight City’ Order and hierarchy is found everywhere, even in chaos. The informal settlements, the under represented communities, sandwiched between planned city are the backbone of so called perfect society. If this informal settlements are left unattended and are not taken care of, it will eventually sparwl organically into to a planned areas like a moss on log. To keep both sides of the society controlled, the deck which is the twilight zone for both the levels seperated the informal from the formal settlement. The wall constitutes the services for the upper class. Movement cores are the only source of connection between the upper class and the lower class. Since, there is a very deep contrast of seperation.
59
A space that reflects a rational background complementing its elaborate past and a hopeful future, Anupam Complex, Saket, is a cherished yet neglected hangout place located in New Delhi. The site is chosen was a derelict node in this node in this market complex behind PVR Anupam, Delhi’s first multiplex. While the aim has been to reintegrate this foci from a “Through Space” to a “To Space” and revive its defunct fountain, the design also attempts at bringing about a realisation within the users of how their actions reflect their hypocritical ignorance.

MEASURE DRAWINGS This project cultivated the seed of thought about heritage and decay, and the perception of urban environment in this respect. The measured drawing was on a NInety-year-old Haveli in a serpentine street of Shahjahanabad. The large and intricately carved doors with a central courtyard, with an elaborately decorated facade covered with brackets and floral motifs. it is truly a motley of the old and new- the family where the exterior is a reminder of what the house used to be and the interiors, modernly furnished, almost a metaphor for the transition in time and customs in a haveli.
