House On Ville Shows Improvement The house down on Vine Street seems to be in better shape this year than ever before. We have a new oil Jtn-nacc and hot water 11C:1tcr.

house very quickly and it holds it at a stable temparture. The water heater keeps plenty of hot water at hand even before formal dnncos. Brothel' Bob Buck '50 should be congratulated for. his hard work in acquiring the heater. Lust fall we hnd hell week in which J 8 men completed their pledge training. Hell week was partly changed to work week, and it certainly lived up to its name. The neophytcs painted all the hallways, the living room, the e1ining room, the ojl [lee and the second floor bathroom. Last summer the front room floors were sanded and filled, varnished and waxed. Thanks for this job go to Dick Mc Crackon , Earl McGovern, Bill Liebermann, Bill Stratton, Phil Nygaard, and several others. The house has acquired a new hand sweeper [or cleaning the stairs ariel drapes. This sweeper has been a great help in keeping the house a little cleaner. J list before Homecoming we got a surprise whcn we received a new stainless steel sink from the Mother's club, A short while later we were presented with six new card tables and 18 leather folding chairs. We certainly appreciate these line gifts from the mothers. Another improvement in the house

Thanks to all those who have aided in keeping the house in good shape this year.
The New Officers Assume Duties The of'Iiccr's Jar the Spring semester are: Earl McGovern, president. Earl is from Parma, Ohio, and last semester he was vice president. He is a senior in elementary education. Vice president, Pete Brown. Pete is a junior from Middletown. Treasurer, Jim Rempe who also hails from Middletown and will graduate this June from the school of Business, Ed Morris is our recording secretary and hails from Mentor, Ohio, he is a junior in Pre-Med. Recording secretary is Don Breese who is a Toleadean majoring in business. Our pledgemaster is Bob Miller a physical education major from Millersport, Ohio. The man who is in charge of the house its upkeep and repair is Bill Liebermann, a senior in business from Massilon, Ohio. Gil Loclu-ic is OU1' social chairman and hails fr-om Windber, Pennsylvania. Rush chairman is Don Daly a sophomOI'C in business from Cincinnati. Upon the shoulders of these men have fallen the task of guidance of our fraternity and we feel sure that the experience and knowledge of t1leil'
