Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is located in South Eastern Europe, in the centre of the Balkan Peninsula near the Adriatic Sea, bordering by Croatia to the north, west and south, Serbia to the east, and Montenegro to the southeast. It has a diverse ethnic population of an estimated 3.8 million. The country is rich in natural resources, such as coal, iron ore, bauxite, copper, lead, zinc, cobalt, manganese, nickel, clay, gypsum, salt, sand, timber and hydropower, and also beneďŹ ts from a favourable climate for agriculture, industry and tourism. BiH is also rich in biodiversity and is home to 1,800 endemic species of Balkan ora and numerous threatened species.

H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad Prime Minister of Malaysia (1981 - 2003)
H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad was the Prime Minister of Malaysia from 1981 to 2003. During his 22 year premiership he has transformed Malaysia from a vastly agricultural nation into one of the economic tigers in the East. At present, H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir presides on several non-governmental organisations including the Perdana Global Peace Foundation (PGPF).
H.E. Mr. Bakir Izetbegović Bosniak Member of Office of Presidency, BIH
H.E. Bakir Izetbegović is a Bosnian politician. Izetbegović is the Leader of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA). In 2010, he was elected to the post of Bosniak Member of the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in 2014 he was re-elected to his second term in the Presidency.

H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu is a Turkish diplomat and politician who is currently the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey since August 2014 and the leader of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) since August 2014. Previously, he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
H.E. Dr. Danilo Tü rk Former President of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Dr. Danilo Türk is the former President of the Republic of Slovenia who devoted his energy to research and teaching in the field of human rights. Dr. Türk was first Slovenian Permanent Representative to the United Nations (1992-2000). He is also a lawyer and diplomat and is currently a visiting professor of law at Columbia University in New York City.
H.E. Stjepan Mesić Former President of the Republic of Croatia H.E. Stjepan Mesić entered the political scene as a Member of Parliament in the Socialist Republic of Croatia (Sabor). He held the post of the President of the Presidency of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and was elected Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia. He was also elected as the President of the Republic of Croatia (2000) and was re-elected as the President of the Republic of Croatia in 2005.
H.E . Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin Former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia H.E. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is currently the Deputy President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO); the largest political party in Malaysia. He was the former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Minister of Education and Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
H.E. Čedomir Jovanović Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Čedomir Jovanović is a Serbian politician and businessman. He is the President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) at the age of 34. He was also a Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia. In 2008 Čedomir Jovanović was a candidate at the Serbian Presidential elections held in January.
H.E. Prof. Dr. Ejup Ganić Chancellor and Rector of University Sarajevo, School of Science and Technology H.E. Prof. Dr. Ejup is the Founder, Chancellor and Rector of University Sarajevo, School of Science and Technology. He was the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
H.E. Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa Chairman of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies, Malaysia H.E. Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa is the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Institute of Strategic International Studies, Malaysia. He was the former Secretary General, Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was the first Malaysian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina (1994-1996) in Sarajevo appointed upon the opening of the Malaysian Embassy.
Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff Malaysian Rep Asia Pacific Economic Council and Asian Business Advisory Council Tengku Mahaleel is one of the Malaysian leading corporate leaders, having represented Malaysia in the Asia Pacific Economic Council (APEC) and the Asian Business Advisory Council (ABAC). He is currently the President of Badminton Association Malaysia (BAM) and a member of the Board of Governors of the University Sains Malaysia (USM). He fomerly sat on the Board of Trustees of Perdana Global Peace Foundation (PGPF).
Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu Rector of the International University of Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu is a Turkish jurist, lawyer and professor of Administrative Law. He has worked for 21 years as a professor and is currently the Rector of the International University of Sarajevo. Dr. Oğurlu has also published several books, book chapters and articles on law.
Mr. Ahmed Žilić Attorney at Law, Legal Expert on Dayton Accord Mr. Ahmed Žilić is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities of the Council of Europe. He is the legal adviser to Inter - Religious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and attorney to UNITIC Sarajevo. He is also the attorney to Bayer GmBH, KPMG, American Chamber of Commerce in BIH and the World Bank.
Mr. Amer Bukvić CEO, Bosna Bank International (BBI) Amer Bukvić is regarded as one of the most successful executives in Islamic Banking and Finance in Europe. He received a prestigious ‘Person of the Year Award’ for his contribution to economic development as the architect of Sarajevo Business Forum in 2010. Mr. Bukvić was also awarded ‘Medallion of the City of Sarajevo’ in 2011.

About BBI VIP Business Club
BBI VIP Business Club is designed as a forum, whose mission is to provide the local and foreign business entities (retail and corporate customers, business associations, economic councils and other business related economy bodies ) and first of all the clients of Bosna Bank International (BBI), with an opportunity of arranging business gatherings, exchange of experiences and views, establishment of business connections and cooperation, realization of business projects, attraction of foreign investments, encouragement of export from BiH, as well as realization, all as to improve and strenghten the BiH economic environment, its connectivities with the economies of other countries and building up business relations, primarily with the prosperous countries of the Gulf. Malaysia and Bosnia have a unique historical relationship that transcends geographical boundaries, where we have comfortably identified ourselves as more than mere two countries engaged in economic and diplomatic relations, but also as brothers. Both of our countries’ economies have established an incredible feat of exceeding speculations and expectations. The idea of MBBC culiminated from the close relationship between its founders during their study years in the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). They had identified the need for a more coordinated effort in establishing and nourishing the business relationship between the two countries which covers; local and international trade, imports and exports, resource management and factory services, storage services, transportation and distribution, linguistic and translation services, tour guiding service, hotelier and event management. MBBC is committed in delivering the best service, professionally and with quality, to meet the business needs of its members.
