The site, situated alongside the majestic River Krishna in Vijayawada, was meticulously crafted with a vision of seamlessly blending a memorial, office space, and a picturesque riverfront. Throughout the design process, utmost attention was given to ensuring the comfort and well-being of visitors, taking into account both climatic considerations and user preferences.

NADIVILASA

PRAVASA KARYALAYAM

The office building is strategically positioned amidst public spaces, offering employees discreet access while maintaining integration with the surroundings. Its placement encourages seamless interaction between work and leisure, fostering a dynamic environment along the riverfront. This design approach enhances user experience and contributes to the vibrancy of the urban landscape.

The office design aimed to seamlessly blend nature with the workspace, incorporating a courtyard for both leisure and work activities. Additionally, ensuring the thermal comfort of occupants was a priority, achieved through thoughtful placement of large windows on the north side and strategic use of shading devices and jalis.

The guest house is strategically located on the top floor, offering occupants breathtaking views from the terrace while enjoying a coffee at the rooftop cafe. Additionally, a conference room is situated on the same floor, providing convenience for guests to conduct business meetings amidst the panoramic backdrop.

The architectural design utilizes the stack effect and cross ventilation facilitated by the courtyard and strategically placed jalis to enhance thermal comfort and ensure ample daylight for productive work environments.

POTTI SRIRAMULU MEMORIAL

The memorial’s design reflects a deep connection to nature, with part of the building nestled underground, symbolizing our bond with the earth. As visitors enter on the first floor, it’s like stepping into a journey of reflection and respect. Alongside this serene atmosphere, there’s a vibrant craft bazaar and outdoor area, inviting people to connect, share stories, and find solace in the peaceful surroundings.

NADIVAIBHAVAM

Nadi Vaibhavam, celebrating the majesty of the river, offers a vibrant riverfront experience with a range of amenities. From a bustling food court and lively children’s park to an open-air gym and designated wheeler track, there’s something for every visitor to enjoy. The picturesque walkway provides stunning views of the river and surrounding landscape, perfect for leisurely strolls or peaceful contemplation. With a boat jetty for serene river excursions and designated interaction spaces, Nadi Vaibhavam provides a harmonious blend of recreation and connection with nature.

In addition to parking access, pedestrians can easily reach the wheelers track for sports, workouts, and running, all linked to an open gym, food court, and walkway. The design seamlessly integrates sports activities to ensure the riverfront remains vibrant and bustling throughout the day, offering a lively space for everyone to enjoy.

The design elements prioritize user comfort while fitting seamlessly into the overall aesthetic. Recognizing Vijayawada’s scorching climate, the design includes shading features like solar-powered umbrellas to provide relief from the relentless sun along the riverfront.
