The training took place in a very friendly atmosphere where the instructor and all of the assistants aided the beneficiaries in understanding and perfecting the techniques that they were being taught. By the end of the session the beneficiaries had a complete understanding of many different sewing techniques and they had developed the proficiency to fully utilize their new equipment and tools.

Our three beneficiaries in Cihuatlan were joined by over 20 women from the community who wanted to get involved with the program. Using old sewing machines they borrowed from their neighbors they were all able to take part in the training session. Thanks to the lessons they have received, these women are now able to generate their income through their own work. We will soon be delivering programs to all the women who participated in the training session.
