Gurukul: A Modern Architectural Rehabilitation Design articulating the senses of ancient Gurukul education systems in modern way. Different natural elements trees, pathways guiding design elements like canopy roofs and structural members. Breaking down of spaces into extroverted and introverted spaces considering students psychology. Roofs resembling pathways between trees

Siting/Zoning Concept

Noise from roads and nearby halls. Buffering done by vegetation and building. Community accessible zone provided which sits on higher part of site with other blocks below the creating hierarchy.

Zoning done considering the private and public spaces providing courtyard as public space and individual cells as private spaces. Placing individual spaces to provide maximum function to design. Vertically admin is raised higher than academic block to show hierarchy.
