LOW COST HOUSING “a concept of reduction in cost of construction without sacrificing the strength required for the strength required for the performance of building.”

3

LOW COST HOUSING Low Cost Housing as an issue, option and strategy is assuming critical importance in achieving the global target of providing affordable shelter for all. Considering criticality of shelter as a major determinant of quality of life with majority of housing shortage falling in the EWS and LIG categories, low- cost housing appears to be the only option for creating, augmenting and expanding the housing stock in the country. Considering the prevailing high cost of land, materials, labour etc., most of the housing stock remains unaffordable for majority of urban dwellers. Urban migrants, pushed out of rural areas due to poverty, find it hard to secure minimal shelter due to prevailing high land, labour and material cost, which makes housing unaffordable. Accordingly, it becomes important that housing costs are minimized, reduced and rationalized, to make it affordable and accessible to even poorest of the poor residents of any city. • As covid 19 was a very harsh pandemic world wide. there was an questions for the safety of children because adults and teen agers can follor the safety measuresbut children are not able in play areas. So in the housing project I have design a playground for children which will restrict the spread the disease.

HOSPITAL

“hospital is an integral part of a social and medical organization, the function of which is to provide for the population complete health care, both curative and preventive.”

FORM REOLUTION

HOSPITAL DESIGN CONCEPT- HOPE OF LIFE AND SENSE F RECOVERY. Healing Architecture for describes a physical setting that support patient and families through the stresses that develop as a result of illness , hospitalization medical visists and the healing process . The Concept implies that the physical healthcare enviornment can make a difference in how quickly patient recover or adapt to specific condition. • The building is designed in such a way that the spaces elimate the poor air quality, noise, lack of privacy, lack of Sunlight. Building is haingg the open cooridoors with the view of natural elements . • Design introduce the natural elements like outside views, interior gardens and water elements , an dnatural sunlight.

• The form of the building is developed in such a way that the summer winds are move from the between the 2 blocks. but winter winds will be diverted by a block .And the winter winds will not enter in the hospital blocks.

DISASTER RELIEF SHELTER

“provide private and secure places for people to live who have left or lost their usual accommodations as a result of some form of disaster.”

RAP-AID SHELL INSPIRED BY BUBBLE WRAP

our temporary structure will be be also like a bubble wrap (a air filled pocket) protecting fragile items

electric pumps will pump air inside the tent to inflate it like a ballon

then frame structure will come into play by assembling them inside with aluminium rods

alumiunium foldable rods wiill be assembled with angles to stregthen the tent from inside and then pump will be removed

Himalayas near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, India, generally experiences cold weather throughout the year. Summers (April to June) are cool and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from around 10 to 25 degrees Celsius (50 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit). Monsoon season (July to September) brings rainfall, and it's advisable to be cautious of slippery paths during this time. In autumn (October and November), temperatures start to drop, and by winter (December to February), Triund experiences snowfall, and temperatures can go below freezing. The trek to Triund might be challenging during winter due to snow-covered paths.
