A breath of Spring Spring came with all the splendor of a bursting roman candle cherry blossoms painted the countryside with every hue and we were sure the cold had left… at least for now but even as we watched this miracle a sudden freeze did strike the blossoms down with- onesharp icy- blast!
So short a time they almost never bloomed! Spring left So soon, so cold, so quietly that had there not been petals on the ground No one would ever know, Spring came!
