The Chapter Fraternal Year Omega Report

Dear Brothers of Mu Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Since the beginning of 2022, seven local Brothers of our beloved Fraternity have entered into our chapter of Sweet Rest. Entering Omega Chapter were,

1. Brother Wiley Edward Bowling, Sr. (11/29/1931 - 3/2/2022) was made in 1952 in Beta Epsilon Chapter at NC A&T University.

2. Brother Raymond C. Lee, Jr. (4/23/1978 - 4/25/2022) was made in 2000 in Iota Alpha Chapter at George Mason University.

3. Brother Herman L. Cook, Sr. (2/2/1946 - 10/15/2022) was made in 1966 in Beta Chapter at Howard University.

4. Brother Kenneth R. Scott (4/17/1934 -- 10/20/2022) was made in 1954 in Beta Chapter at Howard University.

5. Brother Samuel M. Hoston, Jr. (11/11/1927 - 11/23/2022) was made in 1951 in Eta Chapter at Columbia University.

6. Brother Freddie L. Valentine (1/9/1935 - 12/26/2022) was made in 1955 in Beta Omicron Chapter at Tennessee State University.

7. Brother James R. Haynes (12/21/1939 - 3/23/2023) was made in 1959 in Alpha Chi Chapter at Fisk University.

All local Brothers were invited to participate in the Omega Services for these deceased Brothers, especially the Brothers of Mu Lambda Chapter.

As a reminder, we all want to be honored by our Brothers when we enter Omega Chapter ourselves. Continue to participate in Omega Services and support the families of our dearly departed brothers!
