Introduction to Embedded Systems • Embedded System is a combination of Software and Hardware which is embedded in large electronic systems. • All computing systems other than general purpose computer falls under the category of Embedded Systems.

• Small Scale uses 8 to 16 bit microcontroller • Medium Scale uses 16 to 32 bit microcontroller • Sophisticated Scale uses more than 32 bit microcontroller
