I have shared care of my children with their father. On the day’s where I had to open the shop I’d have to bring my kids down to work in the morning and whilst I was setting up shop my partner would come down from his work to pick the kids up and take them to school.

Then the kids would be in after school care.
In school holidays, if they weren’t in care, I was driving interstate so I could drop my kids to family. Then I was back so I could be at work.... I never got to enjoy school holidays with my young children.
Her energetic healing journey began after going through her own tough, painful stresses and traumas. She is motivated and inspired to support others in their journey to healing and happiness.
Christine sees what others do not. She has an extraordinarily strong connection to the Universe/Creator and helps others heal and let go of what is no longer serving them. It’s through Christine’s passion of helping others you will rediscover what gives you passion and lights you up inside through energetic healing, meditation, essential oils, and movement.
Mumpreneur Movement: Why did you start a business?
Christine: I came to a point where I realised I needed to stop putting the needs of someone else, and their families needs, above the needs of my own family.

Mumpreneur Movement: What are some of the challenges you have overcome since starting a business and having children?
Christine: Boundaries.
When I first started out in my business I made myself overly available for clients, thus allowing them to dictate time slots and me fitting in around them.
All I was concerned about was ensuring I gave my client the best experience to help them feel better and hope that they would be a returning client so I had a steady income.
Really, this in a way was one of the reasons why I went into business in the hope of working around my family’s needs and not putting others before my family.
Over the years I changed my strategy. I did loads of belief work through my ThetaHealing courses and learnt how to implement my boundaries.
Sometimes someone will message me (usually someone who knows me personally) and say how desperate they are and that they can only see me on this day. I have learnt over time that people always have something going on in their lives that they need, and sometimes demand, your help with.
I am very grateful that I have learnt how to implement my boundaries. This doesn’t mean I can’t be flexible or refer them to someone who I believe can help them, for that I certainly do if needed.
As a result of me implementing my boundaries in general, not just in business, my headspace is much more peaceful.
This has given my home a more peaceful feel too.
