Autobiography

My name is Li-Ping Wang, and I am a fourth-year student majoring in Industrial Design.

I am deeply passionate about learning in the field of industrial design. The innovation and creativity showcased in German products, such as MercedesBenz cars, never fail to amaze me.

Before entering university, my parents provided substantial support for any decisions I made. Growing up in a loving environment shaped me into a lively and outgoing person. I possess a strong curiosity about the world and am unafraid of challenges.

Now, as a university student, I have become more independent and require less parental care. I am capable of taking care of myself and am responsible for my academic endeavors.

As a university student, I cherish every opportunity for learning. Consequently, I have excelled in numerous courses, including CNC practical, 3D printing, and programming. I have also participated in several extracurricular activities, such as university fairs and drone workshops, where I learned the importance of teamwork.

I am deeply fascinated by German culture and education, leading me to dedicate significant time to learning the German language. I aspire to study abroad and work internationally during my postgraduate studies. Therefore, pursuing a graduate degree will serve as a gateway to achieving my goals and aspirations.

Study plan

I am currently studying English and German. I have enrolled in numerous language courses to expand my vocabulary and improve my speaking ability. My goal is to use both languages and obtain language certificates fluently. I plan to take the TOEIC test in May and the German language examination in February. I will seize every learning opportunity to achieve my language and academic goals during my academic journey.

I am interested in pursuing admission to your graduate school. I am particularly drawn to the courses offered in your institute, such as Product Development Strategy, Service Design, Interaction Design for Smart Products, Circular Design, and more. I look forward to exploring knowledge and experiencing different fields through interdisciplinary exchanges.

I have always thirsted for knowledge and new experiences because learning new languages and skills enables me to think from various perspectives. I hope to participate in exchange programs or study abroad during my graduate studies. Therefore, pursuing a graduate degree will serve as a gateway to realizing my goals and dreams.

Studying abroad The birthplace of dreams.

THE BUDDING OF A DREAM

After transferring to TTU, the diverse pathways for further education here have sparked the idea of studying abroad within me. I am diligently working towards realizing this aspiration.

Confirmed my goals.

One step closer to the dream. After this rare trip to Germany, I have further solidified my dream of studying in Germany in the future.

The trip to Germany helped me solidify my goals.

Walking on the streets of Germany, experiencing a different vibe, witnessing landscapes that I usually only see online, it feels so surreal, yet so real. The serene scenery and the mild-mannered locals make me feel warm and welcoming despite being far from home.

THE SKY, PICTURESQUE AS A PAINTING.

Returning to school, I strive to move forward toward my goals. The journey to Germany has strengthened my aspirations for the future. The sky above me, which I gaze upon every day, is painted by different artists each day. They paint with their hearts, while I study with mine. We are all striving on our respective paths.

Religious beliefs.

Religious beliefs can provide solace to people's souls. In temples, elderly individuals often hold prayer beads, recite scriptures, and sometimes take naps. Religion, temples, and the elderly all exude a sense of timelessness.

Utilizing a film camera captures the grainy texture, capturing their cultural stories.

Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year, holds traditional significance as a time for family reunions. On New Year's Eve, families gather to enjoy a sumptuous feast of traditional dishes. Relatives play mahjong or badminton together, cherishing the rare opportunity for a yearend gathering. In the evening, children display handcrafted lanterns in front of temples, with each lantern representing a dream. It's a lively and heartwarming atmosphere distinct from the Western New Year celebrations.
