Already well-established when he rose to the position, the quality company has since significantly expanded its

His additional expertise in the area of mechanical engineering and years of experience, particularly in coil processing in the construction sector, have given the company and its products fresh momentum. The highest precision with programmable slitter

Programmable staightening, slitting and cut to length Fully-automatic straightening, slitting and cut to length line at the highest quality level! A long guiding table with stable, precise guides guarantees accurate blanks for years. The sheet is fed in via deflection rollers with no marks. Thus the coil cannot deviate and there are no inaccuracies. The enhanced programmable slitter is an absolute highlight and has a maximum of 10 knife pairs, which are set completely automatically and very precisely by a manipulator. The adjustment of the knife pairs happens not only automatically, but can also be adjusted to save time due to software developed especially for this purpose. Pressure roll | DR-AG p and DR-AG h For coils from 1.00 mm sheet thickness, pneumatic or hydraulic Only with a pressure roll can thicker sheets be safely loaded, opened and stretched into the machine by one operator. If you want to make working with coils easier and safer, we recommend the use of a pneumatic or hydraulic pressure roll.

Paper recoiler | P-AUG 100 a1c and P-AUG 100 a1z For stainless steel coils with protective paper If you work with stainless steel coils with protective paper, we recommend using the electric paper recoiler, which can be mounted on the machine frame of any powered decoiler. The device ensures you an automatic process. The recoiled paper can be reused in the production process or simply disposed of.

Coil car | SHT For coils up to max. 12,000 kg and 2.00 x 1,500 mm If your line has a single decoiler, the scissor coil car is electrically moveable and can be raised and lowered hydraulically. You can load multiple decoilers in sequence with only one scissor coil car, which moves along the x and y axes electrically as well as in height z hydraulically at the press of a button. If you want to make loading coils easier and safer, we recommend the use of a hydraulic scissor coil car.

Roller table | RB h For coils from 1.50 mm sheet thickness with dancer arm loop control Only with a roller table can thicker sheets be safely fed into the subsequent machine by one operator. The roller table serves as a threading aide and bridges the distance between the decoiler and the line with a dancer arm loop control. The dancer arm loop control is necessary for sheet thicknesses from 1.50 mm or for greater speeds from 35 m/min.

Deflection roller stand | UB For coils up to max. 1.50 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm If a multi table is fed from braked decoilers the sheets are decoiled via bearing equipped rollers in the deflection roller stand. The sheets are pulled in over each other into the multi table by the rollers at a distance and can therefore be decoiled or recoiled individually with a minimum of damage.

Guideways | BB For max. 6 coils and 1.50 x 1,500 mm If a multi table is fed from powered decoilers the sheets are supported by the guideways when advanced and reversed. Coil selector manual | SB For max. 6 coils up to 2,000 kg and 1.00 x 1,500 mm The coil selector is a very economical solution to implement a rapid and easy change of sheet. Up to 6 coils are fed into the coil selector. The desired sheet is pushed manually into the next machine using a hand wheel.

Coil selector powered vertical | MTV For max. 8 coils up to 3,000 kg, 1 coil up to 300 kg and 1.00 x 1,500 mm With the powered coil selector you ensure flexible access to all of the various coils you need every day because a sheet change-over occurs automatically in no time. The complete line is very compact due to the vertically adjustable multi table. Up to nine coils are threaded fixed in the coil selector. Access to the individual sheets occurs completely automatically via the control unit.

Transfer table | UT For coils up to max. 3,000 kg and 2.00 x 1,500 mm The transfer table serves as a guideway for an additional decoiler in a multiple decoiling line. The table has a fixed and a manually adjustable coil guide with ball-bearings. The adjustment of the mobile coil guide is done using a hand wheel. This table is used at the beginning of a simple decoiling line.

Table with powered adjustment | MFA For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm The coil guide is an important component for the functionality and accuracy of every line. The table has a fixed and a powered adjustable coil guide with ball-bearings. The adjustment of the mobile coil guide is done using a motor. This table is used after a coil selector | MT.

Film applicator | F-AG b2mo und F-AG z2mo For films up to max. 100 kg and 1,500 mm The film applicator can be installed on basically any table. Using the deflection rollers and the rubber infeed rollers, the protective film is applied nearly without bubbles and folds. The device type F-AG z2mo also has an arm with a tension spring to stretch the film during the reverse. This model can only be used with simple decoilers.

Feed unit | VE For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm You pull the sheet simply, effortlessly and precisely with the feed unit VE from a braked or powered decoiler. Rubber coated feed rollers ensure secure pulling even of heavy coils. Only powered decoilers ensure perfect quality and high accuracy of the blanks.

Straightener | RW-3 60-HOV For coils up to max. 0.75 x 1,500 mm With the 3-roller straightener, you can remove the coil curve in the sheets. The device can also be easily added afterward. The straightener has no motor and has three straightening shafts Ă˜ 60 mm and the top one is manually adjustable.

Straightener | RM-3 70-HOV For coils up to max. 1.25 x 1,500 mm With the 3-roller straightener, you ensure problem-free further processing of the blanks. Center punch station | KST For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm As an integrated component of a line, the center punch station replaces the time consuming and inaccurate manual center punching of the parallel or conical bending line. The function is programmable and two center punch points can simultaneously be set at the end and beginning of two sheets. The center punch station has two pneumatic center punch tools, which are rapidly and precisely positioned via belts with the servomotor.

Notching station | KLI For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm An integrated module, the notching station leads to significant time savings. The notching unit is used for the bending line and special flange connections in the air duct or for cassettes in the structural facings sector. The notching station has hydraulically operated notching tools on both sides, which can be adjusted to the desired sheet width or notch depth. The tools can be adapted to the requirements.

Punching station | STA For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm An integrated module, the punch leads to significant time savings. The punch is used for M6 or M8 holes to screw reinforcement tubes in air ducts and replaces the time consuming and inexact manual punching of holes. The punch has a hydraulic stamp with a die plate, which can be quickly and precisely positioned using belts with the servomotor.

Curve slitter | KSA For sheets up to max. 1.25 x 1,500 mm The curve slitter uses programmable circular knives to make parallel, conical and even curved cuts. The cut edge is therefore clean, burr-free and has no induration. Trim stripe recoiler | B-AUG a1o For coils up to max. 2.00 x 10 mm The trim stripe recoiler recoils edge stripes of coils onto a mandrel, saving space. Recoiling of the waste stripes runs completely automatically after infeed. The device is mounted on the guillotine shear, has a motor and a crutch for the stripes.

Cut to length slitter | AL m For sheets and coils up to max. 1.00 x 1,500 mm The manual cut to length slitter impresses through the easy, economical design. It can be mounted on an undercarriage, a workbench or even on to any machine. Cut to length slitter | AL p For coils up to max. 1.50 x 1,500 mm The programmable cut to length slitter has a flat blade on the bottom and a roller knife on the top. This makes it possible to cut only one segment of the sheet from both sides, or only cut individual stripes. The cut to length slitter has a motor with a chain drive, a flat blade and round knife in a solid, precise knife trolley and an automatic coil holder.

Folding table | KT-m TS For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm To make access to the knife adjustment easier, a folding table can be placed between the slitter and the guillotine shear at the front of the line. This significantly increases operating comfort and extends the line by about 700 mm.

Rapid, precise and burr-free blanks are their trademark. It has a motor, an automatic coil holder and blades with adjustable gap.

Guillotine shear | TSM For coils up to max. 3.00 x 2,000 mm or sheets up to max. 1.50 x 4,000 mm With its adjustable gap, the guillotine | TSM has advantages in cut quality compared to the guillotines | TS and | TSS. It is built more solidly than the TSA and therefore has higher performance. Rapid, precise and burr-free blanks are its trademark. Turntable | TS-VP For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm Rectangular, but also angle cuts up to +- 45° can be created using the guillotine on a programmable turntable. Regardless of whether you need a rectangle, parallelogram or a trapezoid, your Forstner line cuts all shapes flexibly and precisely from the coil. It has a motor for setting the angle of the guillotine.

Scrap feeder | TS-SA For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm The scrap feeder is an automatic process with an additional feeder situated on the guillotine, in order to cut coil ends into short scrap stripes. It has a motor for positioning the coil and two cylinders to open the feeder.

Out-feed roller | TS-AZ For coils up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm or 1.25 x 2,000 mm The out-feed roller is designed as a conveyor running synchronous with the machine with an ejector roller, to support blanks during the cutting motion and push it out of the guillotine. Guillotine shear | TS-L For sheets up to max. 2.00 x 3,000 mm or 1.50 x 4,000 mm If a slitting line cannot fulfill the requirements for cut quality, Forstner also offers a cut to length and cut to width line with two guillotines. The required conveyor technology in between is a powered roller conveyor with cross grippers for positioning the sheet into the second guillotine. The conveyor technology has one motor for the rollers and one for the gripper axis.

Shearing and folding machine | TSBM For coils up to max. 1.25 x 1,500 mm, 1.10 x 2,000 mm or 1.10 x 3,000 mm The shearing and folding machine is a combination of a hydraulic guillotine cutting from the bottom and a folding beam, which always bends 90°. The downholder is automatically activated and limits the smallest profile of an air duct to 160 x 160 mm. It has a hydraulic downholder, shear and folding beam with constant gap adjustment.

Short duct | KS-KK For sheets up to max. 1.10 x 2,000 mm In short duct production, the sheet of a duct is first cut, then manually rotated 90° pushed against the grippers and then the residual piece is cut away. Then the sheet is rotated back 90° by the operator and the grippers position the sheet, until the duct is completely folded. The conveyor technology has a motor for the belts and one for the gripper axis.

Duct line | KS-L For sheets up to max. 1.10 x 3,000 mm The KS-L duct line creates standard ducts from the coil in the first section, and using the L for sheets and special ducts. You need additional two complete profilers, two shear and folding machines, but also a complex conveyor system. The conveyor system has a roller conveyor with a lateral pusher and an additional belt conveyor with gripper axis.

Conveyor | BA For sheets up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm The conveyor is powered and designed with a belt, straps or rollers and is used for gentle conveyance of individual sheets for the following process. You determine the exact design.

Stacker | ST For sheets up to max. 3,000 kg and 3,000 x 1,500 mm The stacker is designed as a hydraulically operated scissor coil car and lowers automatically with increasing sheet stacks. You determine the exact design.

Manipulator | MAN For sheets up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm The manipulator takes a blank from the conveyor and stacks it on a palette in a precise and gentle manner. In connection with a subsequent machine, the manipulator can lay the blank lengthwise or crosswise on a machine bench. You determine the exact design.

Conveyor | RU-4 BA For sheets up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm The conveyor transports the blank via belts from a guillotine and positions the sheet using grippers exactly into the round bending machine. The entire process from blank to tube is thus fully automated and optimizes time. The conveyor system has a motor for the belts and one for the gripper axis.

Round bending machine | RU-4 For sheets up to max. 2.00 x 1,500 mm The 4 roller bender is a very flexible and rational solution as an integrated component of a tube line. Various tube diameters can be produced without retrofitting. It has a motor for the rollers, for the positioning of the upper roller as well as for the setting of the bend radius. A pneumatic pusher moves the finished round tube out of the machine via the pneumatic bearing.

Recoiler | AUG 200 a1mu For coils up to max. 200 kg and 0.75 x 1,000 mm or 0.60 x 1,250 mm Slit stripes or wide coils can easily be recoiled into small coils using the recoiler. The coils are recoiled relatively loose to a small diameter of 300 mm, resulting in an optically clean coil after binding and vertically placement. The recoiler has a motor and a pneumatic scissor coil car for easier removal of the coils. There is an option for a mobile recoiler and a tilting table used.

Roller tilt table | AUG 200 a1 RKT For coils up to max. 200 kg and 0.75 x 1,000 mm or 0.60 x 1,250 mm After recoiling, the small coils can be placed vertically using the manual roller tilt table, and moved onto a Europalette manually or using tools. The roller tilt table has rollers with ball-bearings for easy removal of the coils from the mandrel as well as a favorable pivot point, to position the heavy coils from the horizontal into the vertical position.

Recoiler | AUG 5000 a1mu For coils up to max. 5,000 kg and 1.00 x 1,500 mm Slit stripes or wide coils can easily be recoiled using the recoiler. The coils are recoiled tightly to a diameter of 508 mm and an optically clean coil is created after binding and removal. The recoiler has a dancer arm, separator discs, a pneumatic felt brake, a motor and a manual mandrel.

Cut to length slitter for AUG | AL ms or es For coils up to max. 1.50 x 1,500 mm The cut to length slitter is an efficient option for any recoiler, if a heavy coil is to be separated into multiple coils. Re-equipping is eliminated and you save time. The cut to length slitter comes in manual and electric models, and have a pull lever or a motor, which moves the shear carriage with round knives. The downholder is also automatic.

Scissor coil car tilt table | SHKT For coils up to max. 5,000 kg and 1.50 x 1,500 mm The scissor coil car tilt table removes coils from the mandrel of the recoiler. At the press of a button, the scissor coil car rises, is inserted and comes out with the coils. The tilt function serves to tilt light coils to the vertical position. If you want to make removing coils safer and easier, we recommend the use of a hydraulic scissor coil car tilt table.

Control unit | SPS-L2 Small control unit for decoiling and recoiling machines The Forstner control unit is used for subordinate and simple processes such as for a decoiler or recoiler. Thus we guarantee the simplest operation and secure processes. Available functions include expanding or turning of the mandrel, movement of the pressure roll, loop control and recoiling using adjustable torque.

Control unit | SPS-S1 Accuracy +- 0,50 / 0 - 2,000 mm length The Forster control unit is used for small standard machines. All simple cut to length lines, straightening and cut to length lines and slitting and cut to length lines can be operated. Thus we guarantee the simplest operation and secure processes. Functions such as coil eject, knife positioning, angle cut, continual operation, perforated plates and waste optimization are standard. Length, quantity and slitting yes/no can be detected in automatic mode. You will get the desired blanks at the press of a button.

Control unit | SPS-F2 Accuracy +- 0,50 / 0 - 2,000 mm length The Forstner control unit is used for special lines. The control unit has a coil management system and optional interfaces to a superordinate PPS or ERP system. It can also communicate via PROFINET with the following production machines. Functions such as coil eject, knife positioning, angle cut, continual operation, perforated plates and waste optimization are standard. Coil, length, quantity, width, slitting and straightening yes/no can be detected in automatic mode. You will get the desired blanks at the press of a button.

The Forstner control unit comes optional with interfaces to a downstream unit for general functions, safety and data transfer via PROFIBUS or PROFINET. The Forstner control unit also comes optional with an interface to a PC to receive data from a CAD/CAM/ERP, to process it and transfer it to the machine control. The data transfer occurs using a .csv data format.

Software | FIT The new „FIT“ Forstner service tool enables operative support in real time directly on the machine. An efficient analysis of the situation through live transfer to your smartphone or tablet and our customer service will quickly help you find a solution. You save time, money and nerves. Every employee can be trained directly on the machine and receive support.
