Product examples New ideas are best developed using familiar examples. Here we have a selection from the wide range of options in universal cold-forming using our swaging machines. Of course there is much more to it than you can see here. Talk to us about your new ideas!
Product examples of our swaging machines Diameter 320 mm, height 400 mm, sheet thickness 3 mm. Bead radius 18 mm, flanging width 35 mm. Beads drawn indward.
Diameter 95 mm, length up to 250 mm, sheet thickness up to 1.5 mm. Stainless steel tube connection. Maximum rotation accuracy.
Zinc bead for mounting of downpipes, made with special devive.
Two-part elbow stainless steel segment. Mounting with snap-in bead. Ends with crimping (hand-operated) and stop bead.
Diameter 320 mm, height 400 mm, sheet thickness 3 mm, bead radius 18 mm. Outer and inner beads, double standing seam, edge treatment.
Diameter 45 mm, height 250 mm, wall thickness 2 mm. Thick-walled tube with deep inner beads and small tube radius.
Diameter 10 mm, wall thickness 1 mm. Tube bead in brass tube, formed with wheel.
Diameter 400/700 mm, height 360 mm. Reinforcing edge. Manufactured on horizontal swaging machine.
If you want to make full use of the cold extrusion properties of the material in forming and swaging operations, the machine still needs lots of „sheet metal sense“. Schröder-FASTI has put a good deal of that into the tools, making your work easier.

The right wheels to keep things moving Schröder-Fasti wheels are engineered in house, precision turned and hardened. The dimensions and the center distance between the wheels are in accordance with DIN 55211. We advise you on the selection of the right wheels to meet your own specific needs. For starting, we recommend the universal set, consisting of six pairs of wheels which we have

The right stop counts In most jobs, the stop is considered the „second half“ of the tool; it is what holds the parts correct. Schröder-Fasti offers you four different stop versions.

Technical description of stops: 1 Single-part stop (standard equipment) 2 Sectional stop 3 Insulation-tube stop 4 Folding stop
Precise guidance for big parts Where big parts are to be formed, manual tool guidance is no longer expedient, or at times even possible for reasons of safety and machining accuracy. This is where we can offer work aids that have proven themselves successful in such applications.
Universal pressure cone for producing beads on tubes or barrels of different diameters.
Tube rest with roller bearing for machining large and long tubes.
