Coach Rodgers Earns 200th Career Win
200th RECEIVED COACH RODGERS CAREER WIN
In 2003, Todd and Carrie Rodgers along with their three children Emily, Cooper, and Lanie all took a chance on a new small-town school which had just finished 1-9 in its first season. Eighteen years later and now more than 200 wins later, a Texas football dynasty has been built in Argyle.

Since 2003, Coach Rodgers has a record of 204 wins (at the time of publication) and just 37 losses, which includes 12 consecutive district championships, 18 consecutive playoff appearances, five state championship games, and the 2013 Class 3A state title. He earned his 200th career victory at Anna on Oct. 9. As also serving as the Athletic Director of Argyle ISD, Coach Rodgers has helped lead Argyle High School to a staterecord eight consecutive UIL Lone Star Cups. Coach Rodgers would be the first to tell you none of this would be possible without the unwavering support, encouragement, and immeasurable sacrifice made by his wife Carrie Rodgers, who is as much a reason for the 200 wins as anyone.
Coach Rodgers is a tireless mentor and a shaper of an entire generation of Argyle’s finest young men, who as a result, leave Argyle High School well equipped to be difference-making students, teammates, brothers, leaders, workers, husbands, and fathers.
This season, Coach Rodgers was also awarded Dallas Cowboys/Whataburger Coach of the Week. The Argyle High School football program received a $2,000 grant courtesy of the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation and Whataburger.
Coach Rodgers led the No. 1 stateranked Eagles to a 10-0 regular season in a challenging year that included COVID-19 procedures for the players, coaches, and fans. He guides a program that sustains success and continues its commitment to excellence with each new season.
Congratulations Coach Rodgers on this outstanding career milestone!
