Hello Pet Parents!

On behalf of the entire brand, we are thrilled to be sharing our inaugural issue of the Dogtopian magazine! While there are lots of mainstream magazines dedicated to dogs today, very little is understood about the world of dog daycare and its benefits. Enter Dogtopia. At Dogtopia, we are proud to be the pioneers of daycare 2.0 which includes a safe, fun, transparent and modern approach to open play. Dogs have quickly evolved over the last decade to become part of our families, and our state-of-the-art daycare centres were designed with their ultimate comfort in mind. If they can’t be with you – we want to be a close second choice!

Dogs are one of our greatest gifts as they provide endless joy and unconditional love. Whether it’s sloppy kisses, cuddles or the zoomies – their infectious positive outlook brings us so much happiness and purpose to our lives. In this time of economic and global uncertainty, we also felt it was important as a brand to spread awareness around the fact that there are safe and sustainable ways to maintain your life as a dog parent, whether you are being called back to the office, have a dog with separation anxiety, an overly rambunctious puppy on your hands, a 50lb rescue mix you were told would be 15lbs, or simply feeling overwhelmed with daily living expenses. Our mission is to prevent pups from being returned to shelters and help them stay with their families.

We know that it takes a village to raise a pup and we are blessed to be that trusted home away from home for your furry family member. We hope that you use this magazine as an educational tool to understand your pup, our services, and whether daycare could be a fit for your family. We are grateful for your trust and blessed to come to work everyday doing something that we love. We are honoured to be part of your journey and supporting you in raising good canine citizens.

What does the Dogtopia Foundation stand for?

The Dogtopia Foundation is our purpose beyond profit. It allows us to individually and collectively support causes we value and enables dogs to positively change our world. Together, our support provides the opportunity to elevate our communities and significantly impact the causes we champion. The Foundation is funding programs focused on three worthy causes: Service Dogs for Veterans & First Responders, Youth Literacy Programs and Employment Initiatives for Adults with Autism By connecting dogs with the programs we support, these loving and devoted dogs are fulfilling their true purpose by helping our returning veterans, at-risk children and adults with autism reach their full potential.

SERVICE DOGS FOR VETERANS

We support programs that positively impact the lives of impact the lives of Canadian service members including veterans, first responders, and PTSD victims

YOUTH LITERACY PROGRAMS EMPLOYMENT INITIATIVES FOR ADULTS WITH AUTISM

We support innovative programs with registered volunteers and therapy dogs who provide encouragement, emotional support and ageappropriate books for young children to help motivate them to read. We do this to encourage a joy of reading during early childhood.

We provide support for employment programs for adults with autism by actively employing individuals with autism in our Dogtopia stores We also support dog related entrepreneurial ventures for adults with autism.
