We’ve been able to get back to what we do best in 2021, which is working with clients towards better health and fitness. And many have found success. If your fitness has taken a back seat through the last 18 months, we want to assure you that you can have a healthier and happier 2022. And we’re here to help you succeed!
1. Outlaw FitCamp has adjusted and adapted to make your workouts safe
We’ve taken many safety measures to protect our members and staff during and after the pandemic. These include:
• Redesigned classes now allow for social distancing. Individuals exercise in cells measuring 7 by 11 feet with no rotations between stations before sanitation
• Members do not touch equipment that hasn’t been sanitized
• An outside hygiene company sprays disinfectant weekly all over the studio and equipment.
2. Get back on track!
We’ve heard from plenty of people that the pandemic has made it more difficult to keep up a healthy lifestyle. It changed our normal routines. If you’ve lost your fitness routine or gained weight during the past year, you are definitely not alone! We’re here to help you get back on track and get your new normal back.
3. Make a mindset change for this new year
At Outlaw FitCamp, we emphasize the importance of knowing the WHY behind your fitness goals. Do you want to look better? Improve a health condition? Keep up with your kids or grandkids? Compete in a race? Whatever your reasons for wanting to get more fit, you have to keep the “why” in mind.
4. Prioritize your spending
Be honest. How much did you spend at Starbucks last year? Or on take-out? If you don’t hire a personal trainer because you think it’s too expensive, think again. You may have some costly habits that you could replace with a new habit of working out with a personal trainer at about the same cost. Just think how much healthier you’ll be and how much better you will feel. There are almost always places where someone can cut the expense of unhealthy habits and replace that cost with personal training or group exercise classes—a much better choice. 5. Now is the perfect time to make your health a priority
The years are ticking by—don’t put off making your health a priority! Make 2022 the year when you finally focus on fitness. Let those around you know that it’s your priority and then surround yourself with people who will help you be successful.
6. Change your habits
Even many of us who had good habits have let some of them go during the past year. Replacing unhealthy habits with healthy ones will help you reach your fitness goals. Maintaining a healthy weight, getting regular exercise, eating fruits and vegetables…slowly and surely when you start practicing healthier habits, your body will respond.
7. Change your routine- Outlaw FitCamp will get you faster results
We work hard to make Outlaw FitCamp the absolute best workout facility you can find. We always offer our clients the best training and support available. Besides the safety changes we’ve already discussed, our clients can take advantage of the following:

Your Patient-Focused Oral Surgery EXPERTS

Dr. John Shillingburg knows what his patients think when they walk in the door for their oral surgery appointment: “How much pain will I be in afterward, and how much time will it take to recover?” It’s an honest question, and we’ve all asked it — regardless of whether it’s a simple wisdom tooth extraction or a complicated reconstructive procedure.
However, the problem many oral surgeons have faced over the years is replying with an exact answer. They could take an educated guess, but pain is such a fickle beast, and everyone reacts differently to certain procedures.
At DFW Oral Surgeons in Flower Mound — a Best of Denton County winner in three categories this year — Dr. Shillingburg and his amazing staff work tirelessly to be at the forefront of every major technological advancement and procedural adjustment to make your next trip to the doctor as comfortable as possible. This includes using biologic materials that have been oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is trained and credentialed in dentoalveolar surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, and facial reconstructive oral surgery dental anesthesiology. This allows him to treat everything from a simple tooth extraction to replacing every tooth in a patient’s mouth. He holds membership with the American Dental Association and is a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Shillingburg has also spared no expense in surrounding himself with tend to hurt less and heal faster. It’s pretty amazing how people can heal so fast.”
Many of us take our oral and dental health for granted, and when we are suddenly faced with severe problems, the consequences can be overwhelming. Having a doctor like John Shillingburg in your corner is a lifesaver.
What makes Dr. Shillingburg tick is being able to help people feel better about themselves. A former military man, he has worked with everyone from active-duty soldiers to celebrities and civilians. And as technology has improved, he’s jumped on board with treatment programs that
proven to limit discomfort and promote faster healing so you can enjoy your smile faster.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time, so I kind of know which procedures hurt the most,” Dr. Shillingburg said. “Anything you can do to speed recovery and decrease pain is worth it. That’s always our goal.”
“We just care. We want to make a difference in people’s lives.”
DFW Oral Surgeons is the best at doing exactly that. In our recent Best of Denton County contest for 2021, Dr. Shillingburg and his team were named Best Dental Implant Dentist, Best Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Best Maxillofacial Surgery Center. Dr. Shillingburg is a board-certified top-of-the-line technology that makes his job seamless. Along with that was his insistence on investing in the facility as a whole, which is a true outpatient surgery center capable of treating any mouth and jaw condition with ease.
They do it all, and they do it right. And that includes pain management.
We use biologic materials that allow us to help our patients in the healing process,” Dr. Shillingburg said. “There have been a lot of studies that have come out regarding platelet-rich fibrin and plateletrich plasma because they have enzymes that help increase blood vessel growth in bone grafts and bone healing. There’s also a time-released local anesthetic we use for wisdom teeth. As a result, patients improve a patient’s recovery time and quality of life.
Dr. Shillingburg and the amazing team at DFW Oral Surgeons are proud to serve the residents in and around Argyle, Bartonville, Highland Village, Lantana, Double Oak, South Denton, Denton County, and surrounding areas.
“It gives me pride knowing patients can come in, and they will have a great experience,” Dr. Shillingburg said. “We have a great team here, and I have a lot of passion for what I do; We enjoy taking something that is difficult for a lot of people and making it so that it’s not a big deal.
“We spend time with patients, answer questions, and take exceptional care of them. I can’t do what I do without my staff.”
